The living room has a fireplace and 85" flat screen TV. Kitchen is filled with cooking essentials to be able to make a meal. To top it off, you can enjoy that meal on the dining table on the back porch where you can enjoy the nature. The kids can enjoy the open yard to run and play. When you are ready to head inside, you can chill on the oversize swivel chair in the family room or do a quick walk on the treadmill. When you go upstairs, you will find 4 bedrooms for your family to comfortably spread out. There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds with one shared bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed and its private bathroom with a shower. Please note the jacuzzi is not available for use at the moment but we are working hard to get it up and running. No dog fees, no breed/size restrictions, multiple dogs welcome, plus toys, treats, bowls, crates provided. Hiking, wineries, river, mountains, antiquing, battlefields, and history abound. The space Gracie's Place has wood floors throughout the home. Built in the 1920s, this Sears Roebuck house has stood the test of time. Each room has its own heat/AC setting that guests can adjust for their comfort. There are room-darkening blinds in all of the bedrooms (except the third floor optional bedroom which has two small windows, plus skylights) The optional fourth bedroom (additional $25/night fee) on the third floor is carpeted. It's spacious and bright with multiple skylights, two twin beds, and a half bath. Guest access All of the house, porches, and back patio. These will pop and the water will be clear. To access the house you need to cross a low water concrete bridge. If there has been a ton of rain, this bridge can flood, making reaching the house a little more challenging, but adds an element of fun and adventure! The co-host lives locally and near the river, and we have stream flow alerts set for upriver gauges on the USGS site, so we will let you know if flooding could affect your stay as soon as we have information. If the bridge looks like it will flood and you will be unable to drive across to the home, you can opt to park on the other side of the river and cross the river via the pedestrian swinging bridge. This bridge is something we recommend you walk down to see, whether the river is flooded or not, as it is quite cool! The bridge is approximately a 10min walk to the house where a truck will be for guests to use to shuttle other guests and their bags to the house from the bridge. If there is concern of flooding, you can also always leave one car on the other side of the bridge (there is a small parking area) so that you can have a car on the other side to get out and about. If the river were to flood after you have arrived, please be aware that you may need to stay another day until it subsides. The home provides a lot of activities for you if you were to be flooded in (see listing of 20+ activities!) and the winery may be open as well! You will not be charged for an additional day if you cannot leave due to flooding. If you use the kayaks or canoe on property, you may only enter or exit at our property or at the car bridge you came in on. If you exit onto others' land, you will fined and asked to vacate our home.

There is a den/office that offers privacy for those who may need to do some work on their getaway, as well as a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space. The dining room includes an extra-long dining table that comfortably seats 10-12. There are also 2 bar areas in the kitchen for extra seating during meals. In the fully stocked kitchen, you could prepare a 5-course meal or simply heat up frozen dinners. The basement offers additional sleeping space with 2 twin beds and will be a favorite with the kids. There are books and toys for the little ones, a jumbo bean bag chair, and a foosball/pool table combo as well as a TV for the older ones. Though most people will probably be drawn to spending the majority of their time outdoors in one of many seating areas, including the brand-new multi-level deck, patio, gazebo, or around the firepit. It has some excellent displays. The Battle that took place there is the historical setting for the movie “The Field of Lost Shoes.” Your four-legged friends don't have to miss out on the fun while you are exploring. They will enjoy playing in the fenced-in yard or exploring the fenced in five-acre pasture behind the cabin with lots of stuff to sniff and investigate :) Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house and grounds, with the exception of one closet that is reserved for the cleaners and one small outbuilding that is used by the landscape crew. Other things to note Check in is at 4:00 pm and check out is at 10:00. These times are fixed. The cleaners keep a very tight schedule and make their plans around this six hour window. Out of respect to them, I cannot make exceptions to these times. Please also note that as a small business, I am not able to grant last-minute refunds, so I highly recommend protecting your investment with travel insurance. So why book this property? Design. Guest access The entire house and yard is yours apart from the unfinished attic and basement and an owner's closet off of the kitchen. While the barn is picturesque, we ask that guests admire it from afar and don't go inside. Other things to note - Interstate 81, about half a mile from our property, offers convenient access to many attractions within the Shenandoah Valley. There can be ambient highway noise audible from our property, depending on traffic and the weather, so we have a white noise machine for guests sensitive to noise. - From approximately April through November, we have a mowing service mow our lawn. They typically mow on Tuesdays in the late morning/early afternoon (weather permitting) and usually complete the mowing in 30 minutes.

Make some memories at this unique, family-friendly space. You will absolutely fall in LOVE with the views as you sit on the patio overlooking the heated pool (Apr-Oct), hot tub and the mountains. This totally private, 4 bdrm, 3.5 Bath house will make your vacation a dream! You can spread out in the lower family & game room or upstairs in the open kitchen and living room. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets on the porch or sit around the campfire and roast smores! This is truly a Shenandoah Valley Oasis! The space Layout: On the main floor, there is a king sized bed in the primary bedroom, with attached private bath. A separate wing off the living room offers a second bedroom with a queen and a full bath shared with the third bedroom/office containing a queen sized murphy bed (with upgraded mattress) and private access to the porch and patio. On the walk-out basement level there is another large bedroom with attached bath that has a king and two twin beds. Also on the basement level is a rec area with ping pong, games, toys, and a TV with Netflix and DisneyPlus. Guest access The entire home is available for guest use with the exception of a few marked and locked spaces including a few drawers, cabinets, and the storage room in the basement. Other things to note The property is accessed through a very steep gravel driveway. All of the vehicles that have tried to gain access to this point have been able to do so, including a Prius without AWD, but it was precarious. Please ensure you travel in an appropriate vehicle and consider the possibility of inclement weather. Island in the Sky is aptly named due to its perched location on a hilltop. The property drops off abruptly on all 3-sides of the patio. Avoid all edges and ensure there is no running or rough-housing on the patio or at the fire pit. There is a large trampoline on the property, always inspect it for any damage and close the safety net during use. One person at a time and use at your own risk. Pool – the pool has an automatic safety cover that must be in place whenever the pool is not in use. This cover is the only physical safety barrier for the pool, there is no gate or fence. If it rains while the pool is covered, the water MUST be pumped off prior to re-opening. Failure to pump off the water will permanently damage the cover and guests will be responsible for the cost to repair. Instructions will be provide, but f you are not comfortable operating the pump, please contact Hosts Matt and Kelly for assistance. There is an option to heat the pool, please contact us for additional information. We also find in the summer months that it gets very warm naturally. We do not have a pool cooler, so please anticipate that the pool water may reach temperatures in the upper 80s Island in the Sky was just built last year so the surrounding landscape has not been completed/grown in. The home, patio and pool are fully ready for your enjoyment. Shenandoah Oasis Island in the Sky*Pool*Hot Tub

A peaceful Shenandoah Valley getaway 90 minutes from DC. Stay in our historic farmhouse with pasture and mountain views and access to the North Fork of the Shenandoah River. Just a 5-minute drive to historic downtown Woodstock with charming shops and local gems like Woodstock Cafe and Woodstock Brewhouse. Two wineries within 10 minutes, plus plenty to explore in Seven Bends State Park (15 mins), the George Washington National Forest (15 mins) and Shenandoah National Park (35 mins). Other things to note One of the things that we love about this house is that it is quiet and secluded, but as a result of its location, the property is not serviced by public water and is instead serviced by a well for its water supply. In drought conditions and due to long running changes in the water table in our area, there can be a lack of water underground to quickly regenerate our well at times, which is a common condition for homes and businesses in our community that rely on wells for water. Luckily, when the water does run out, the water normally regenerates within 1-2 hours as long as all taps are turned off. Especially when drought conditions persist, please conserve water by spreading out use of water over time and not using excess water when possible. Repeatedly running the water dry can cause damage to our well pump. We appreciate your help in managing your water usage during your stay and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Lovely 1792 farmhouse with exposed log interior located on MUSE Vineyards by the Shenandoah River. Pool (open early May)! The tasting room is just outside your back door! The space ***Covid 19 concerns: As we have always done, all surfaces are all being disinfected after each rental (this includes doorknobs, handles, faucets, counters, tables, etc.)*** This 225 year old Mennonite Farmhouse was built in 1792. It has been maintained and updated with modern amenities (central AC/Heat, etc) without sacrificing the original charm of the home with its exposed log interior, grand fireplace, etc. Located on MUSE Vineyards with private access to the Shenandoah River. ***All guests staying in the cottage can enjoy 15% off bottles of wine when visiting the tasting room*** On the main level, the home has an eat in kitchen with gas stove, and large living area with grand wood burning fireplace and SmartTV with cable access. Exposed log walls, exposed beam ceilings, wood flooring. There is a screened porch off of the kitchen to enjoy the cool mornings/evenings with a cup of coffee, and a large deck on the other side of the home with a fire pit for guest use. Behind the home you will find a 40' in ground swimming pool (open seasonally) with pool house and patio area for grilling (charcoal grill). The pool house offers another bedroom (double bed) with full private bathroom with a walk in shower. Back inside on the 2nd floor, there is a smaller second living area with 2nd SmartTV and two master bedrooms (1 queen room, 1 king room), each with their own full private bathrooms with walk in showers. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home (except for storage attic), pool house, and swimming pool (open seasonally) Other things to note To access the house you need to cross a low water concrete bridge. If there has been a ton of rain, this bridge can flood, making reaching the house a little more challenging. However, the co-host lives locally and near the river, so we will let you know if it looks as if this will affect your stay as soon as we have information. If the bridge looks like it will flood and you will be unable to drive across to the home, you can opt to park on the other side of the river and cross the river via the pedestrian swinging bridge. From here you can walk to the home or ask about getting a ride up the hill to the house from the staff at Muse Vineyards, or we can discuss a refund.

The “Valley” runs north and south through Virginia and the Panhandle of West Virginia, with Interstate 81 starting just in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, and continuing south until you reach Lexington, Virginia. There is a town called "Shenandoah," and there is also a county called "Shenandoah County." However, the town of "Shenandoah" is not in "Shenandoah County". One big attraction in the area is the "Shenandoah Caverns," which is located in "Shenandoah County", not the town. Confusing right? The "Shenandoah River" runs through most of the Shenandoah Valley, which encompasses 8 counties in total, 2 of which are in West Virginia. There are the North Fork and South Fork of the "Shenandoah River". The Shenandoah Valley brings millions of tourists a year for many varied reasons, including the Shenandoah National Park. The park itself borders mostly the eastern portion of the Shenandoah Valley. Our location is in the Shenandoah Valley, and we are located approximately 45 minutes from the "Shenandoah National Park/ Skyland Drive" ENTRY GATE. Now that you understand our location within the Valley. "Shenandoah County" is home to 178 miles of trails through the George Washington National Forest with spectacular views of the valley below, lush forests, the Shenandoah River, streams and wildlife.

Hike in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, experience historic small town Strasburg, or take in the fall beauty on Skyline Drive National Park. The space PLEASE NOTE: the last 2 miles to the house do not get regular winter maintenance and do not get plowed unless there are 5 or more inches of snow. We highly recommend that all vehicles be four wheel or all wheel drive if there is any snow in the forecast. The Deer Meadow retreat features 4 bedrooms, two queen beds upstairs and twin over full bunk beds downstairs. The newly renovated and fully updated kitchen and living room give space to entertain and relax. Outdoors, you will enjoy 2 acres of open yard for activities, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and 200 feet of riverfront access to launch inner tubes, canoes, or kayaks to float down the river. Guest access Guests may use the entire house and yard. Pets are welcome, though please do NOT allow pets in the bedrooms or on any furniture. This is to aid in cleaning and in case the next guests have allergies. Our cleaner will also charge us an extra fee if sheets and furniture need extra cleaning to remove excessive pet hair and we would pass on that fee. PLEASE respect the privacy and property of our neighbors to either side of the property. Our Deer Meadow property extends from the house to the river and from the Turkey Hill road to the woods on the far side of the lot. Always pick up after your pets and do not allow them or children to roam into our neighbor's yards. Do not climb up the river banks anywhere except the river edge on our property and the river banks of the community lots, or the public access at the bridge, as shown on the map in the listing photos. Other things to note There is a somewhat steep gravel road near the house that must be driven to access the property. This is not a problem 99% of the time and can be handled by 2-wheel drive vehicles, but can cause issues in the case of freezing rain or heavy snow. The hill may offer a challenge if you are driving a large vehicle such as an RV. PLEASE NOTE: Winter Maintenance is limited in the neighborhood and there is not state plowing during the winter. The gravel roads are only plowed when snowfall reaches 5 inches or more. Please consider this when planning winter trips and AWS is highly recommended if there is snow on the schedule. Please exercise caution if you decide to access the river! While the river is mostly shallow and slow moving, there are deep pools of 6 ft or more. Please ALWAYS use flotation devices and wear water shoes on your feet if you enter the river, as there may be sharp rocks or broken glass that could cause injury. Guests assume all responsibility for injury or death in the event of accident. Drowning is always a possibility whenever you are around water. Children MUST be supervised at all times if playing in or near the river.

This area is home to stink bugs, Asian beetles, wood roaches, gnats, and mosquitos, which may view open windows and doors as an invitation. I recommend keeping windows and doors closed when not in use. Check in is at 4:00 pm and check out is at 10:00. These times are fixed. The cleaners keep a very tight schedule and make their plans around this six hour window. Out of respect to them, I cannot make exceptions to these times. Please note that as a small business, I am not able to grant last-minute refunds, so I highly recommend protecting your investment with travel insurance. So why book this property? Location. The house is part of the larger Shenandoah Meadows Camp with great amenities as summer camps only operates June-August. The Chalet has 20 ft ceilings, with a fireplace and Mt. views out the large windows. Within a short drive there are hiking, biking, rock climbing, and many local attractions like Luray Caverns, Skyline Drive, vineyards and brewery's. The space The property has a large pond for fishing/swimming, a large in-ground swimming pool, a full court basketball court, a full soccer field, volleyball court, and outdoor fire pits. Some amenities may be shared with a few other guests on the property (small camp sites and two tiny cabins), but the Chalet is tucked off to the side of the property for more privacy. **Swimming Pool is seasonal The house sleeps 10. Venture out to the cavern The space This newly updated home has been lovingly remodeled to bring modern appeal and comfort to this classic farmhouse. Maybe the best spot in the Shenandoah Valley, the back patio has incredible views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A hot tub , fire table, and dining area all illuminated by the market lights above. And of course the pool. Complete with lounge chairs and pool floats. The property has plenty of space for yard games and general backyard fun! And a fire pit for evening s’mores. True to its farmhouse roots the house is surrounded by farmland. The only folks likely to stop by are the cows who like to hang around the fence by the pool. The patio area feels very private, surrounded by the house, garage, and a shed. Half of the garage has been finished with a TV and seating area and additional fridge. The other half of the garage has a ping pong table. A great spot to take a break while swimming or send the kids to the outside living room! Inside the farmhouse, all on one level, are 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Each bed has new memory foam mattresses and new quality pillows and linens. Quality towels and many other amenities are provided. The main living room is a cozy spot. Gather around the coffee table for a round of board games or cue up your favorite movie on the smart TV. It is equipped with all the apps for you to log in to and stream away! Snuggle up and turn on the gas fireplace for a romantic evening. The kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances and amenities to cook your favorite meals. The dining room is perfect for memorable family dinners. Enjoy a nightcap from the bar, equipped with the tools to mix your drink of choice. In the morning, fire up the Ninja coffee maker and enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sun rise across the valley! Coffee provided. The mudroom has a washing machine and dryer available to guest. Working remotely? Enjoy a dedicated workspace in the third bedroom! Guest access Entry into the house is located in the rear. As you walk in, you’ll see the washer and dryer for guests to use. Please bring your own laundering supplies. The back door has a keypad for easy access during your stay. No need to deal with keys. Your personal entry code will be sent to you prior to your stay, as well as other check-in instructions. Ample parking is available in the driveway located to the right of the house. Check in time is 4 pm, checkout time is 10 AM. Pool season is generally May- October. Please ask if you need clarification about the pool being open. Other things to note The pool will close in October once the temperature drops. The pool will open once the average temperature is high enough, usually middle of May. The pool has a fence around it. The pool is 3 feet on the sides and 5 in the middle. Swimmers can enter and exit the pool using the pool ladder. Guest swim at their own risk and are responsible for keeping children safe. No smoking, including vapes, in the house. PETS: We are pet friendly, but only for approved pets that are listed on the reservation. We allow house trained pets, with up to date flea/tick medication. There is NO river access further down the road from the lodge. However, there is a trail across the driveway that connects to the Shenandoah River Outfitters and leads to the river. - If the trash becomes full, the Shenandoah River Outfitters next door has a dump site for our guests to use on their way out (we don't have a scheduled trash service). - There are no firearms or fireworks allowed on the property. - Water Source Notice Like other properties in the area, Blue Banks Lodge uses the public utility Aquarius for its water supply (not a private well) to ensure better quality. At times, the water may appear slightly discolored, especially during high regional usage (such as busy weekends or peak camping seasons). This usually clears after running the faucet for a minute or two. Aquarius regularly tests the water to meet all Virginia state safety standards. Liability Waiver -Guests shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the owner and host against ANY and ALL claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss. Guests expressly recognizes that any insurance for property damage or loss in which the owner and the host may maintain on the property does NOT cover the personal property of the guests. Let us know if you need help starting the fire. Firewood and water, to put out the fire, are provided. We welcome one dog at no additional cost. We can't have cats because one of the hosts is allergic to them.

The space A three level home, situated in the foothills of the Shenandoah mountains. With the main floor comprised of the master bedroom with attached full bath, walk-in closet, and 65 inch smart tv. Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all needed amenities available for cooking and eating. Three bar stools under kitchen counter. Dining room table seats six and opens to cozy living room with fireplace, 55 inch smart tv, half bath, and a laundry room a full size washer and dryer. The house was recently equipped with fast fiber internet, making working from home a breeze. The upper level is comprised of two bedrooms, both with smart TVs, and a shared bathroom. Both the upper and main floors have their own individual climate control. There is an unfinished basement where the water and gas controls are located. The rear deck has views of the forest, flanked by the Shenandoah mountains. The front deck with rocking chairs gives guests the opportunity to see the few passersby while not being seen. The front driveway is steep and narrow so please drive slowly. We ask that guests not attempt to access the rear driveway as it overlooks a very steep slope, nor the garage as it is used for storage. Guest access Guests are invited to access the entire residence, with the exception of the garage, and a small locked closet. While you are invited to walk on the rear driveway, please do not drive there. Other things to note Out of respect to our neighbors and to preserve the dignity of the quiet and peaceful setting, please no parties.

Wellness room with infrared sauna, meditation pillows, yoga mats, wellness library and kitchenette with selection of teas. Mountain views from every room. Large outdoor patio with 2 fire pits, large dining table, front porch and amazing view of the meadow below, the stars above, and the sunrise. Hot tub, seasonal outdoor shower, and outdoor ping pong table. Linens and towels are provided. Modern kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for your trip. Outdoor gas grill and open fire pit for outdoor cooking (we will provide a starter set of wood - more available for purchase at the nearby country store.) Guest access Guests have access to entire home and property - except for owner storage areas and the 2 outdoor sheds. Other things to note The house is surrounded by wildlife including bears, turkeys, foxes etc. Please do not leave food or trash outside the house. The dump is a very quick drive from our house. Our house is thoroughly cleaned before each guest. We are deep in nature and sometimes it can find its way into the house - we often have ladybugs make their way in after cleanings. Generally T-Mobile and AT&T service works at the house but Verizon can be spotty.

Mountain Wellness Escape + Sauna

Welcome to Three Bears Lodge! This secluded mountain retreat sleeps seven with two queen-sized DreamCloud mattresses and a bunk room. During the day, enjoy easy access to national parks (including George Washington National Forest and Skyline Drive), hiking trails, vineyards, breweries, horseback riding, caverns, golfing, ski resorts, and more. At night, listen to the tree frogs while roasting s'mores around the firepit or watch the snow fall across the mountain. The space Three Bears Lodge is equipped to provide a comfortable stay for one or two families. Outside, you'll be able to: * Enjoy coffee or tea on the front porch, * Prepare and eat food at a private picnic area with a propane grill, * Relax in chairs with gorgeous views of the next ridge, * Roast s'mores around the firepit (we provide the firewood), and * Soak your worries away in the hot tub. Of course, we provide for you inside as well. You'll find: * A fully equipped kitchen, * A dining table for four, with a folding table and four chairs for additional seating, * A living room with a 55" Roku Smart TV (bring your own login credentials) plus another TV in the kids' bunk room, * Board games, books, and toys, * Three bedrooms: two with queen-sized DreamCloud mattresses, and a third with a bunk bed and floor mattress, and * A bed and basic supplies for one dog. Guest access Access is provided by a smart lock with a code personalized for each guest. You'll have private access to the full house, including the finished upstairs area and an unfinished basement with laundry area. The only area off-limits to guests is a basement storage area. Other things to note The Lodge is located off a well-maintained gravel forestry road, but snow plowing in the winter can take some time. We recommend arriving in a vehicle with AWD or 4x4 in the event of inclement weather. New full-house water filter system installed February 2023; new refrigerator installed July 2023.

Take in views of The Shenandoah River, 300 ft from the house, George Washington National Forest & Massanutten Mtn. 45 min to JMU. Grill & enjoy the crisp air under the stars. 1st floor primary suite with king bed, 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms with natural light and full bath. Loft has 5 twin beds & is a great hang out for young guests. Hiking, fishing, kayaking, relaxing by the fire pit; our quiet getaway pleases all. The space Private, quiet nine acre lot with 300 feet frontage of the Shenandoah River. Tree swings, fire pit, corn hole, and fishing are all there for you. 5 kayaks, 1 canoe, and plenty of tubes available, as well as life jackets. Wood burning indoor fireplace with starter logs, and a starter supply of fire wood are provided for a relaxing evening. Starlink 50Mbps internet Direct TV is there if you want, but plenty of quiet if not! Please note that due to the terrain, Direct TV signal is occasionally impacted by the weather. Direct TV typically runs fine and glitches are temporary. The 3rd floor loft has 5 twin beds, Direct TV, DVD player, family friendly DVDs, and Play Station 3 for game use (Play Station can not connect online). There are board games, puzzles and basic art supplies. The loft has a door. The stairs are narrow and door shorter and narrower. Taller guests need to duck, our 6’ 4” nephew still enjoys the “the loft.” Ideal space for kids or extra guests. The kitchen has a Keurig, coffee maker, gas range and basic kitchen items available for guest use (tea, sugar, Splenda, salt, pepper, olive oil, baking spray, spices, seasonings). A new gas grill is conveniently located right off the kitchen on the deck. Hosts will provide a starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels. Hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent are there for your stay. The unfinished basement has a full bath, laundry room with washer, dryer, utility sink, pool table and foosball in common area. The basement fireplace is NOT available for use at this time. Guest access Guests may use the entire home during their visit. Other things to note We welcome dogs to Canoe River, two at a time, for an additional one time fee $50. We ask that dogs not sleep on beds or couches. Couch covers are washed after each guest and we encourage guests to use them during their stay. There are dog bowls in the kitchen pantry cabinet and in the laundry room. Leashes are required when not on our property. There are stakes and runs in garage to tie your pup up while outdoors. We ask that nuts not be eaten in the house due to risk of severe allergic reactions to owners and other guests. No smoking inside the house. Please dispose of any cigarettes and cigars responsibly... not in the brush near the house or grass. Guests are expected to maintain the property and river with respect. We ask that all trash be disposed of properly. Blink cameras are located at front door entrance, garage driveway entrance and street view from the deck for property safety. The devices are non recording and no audio. There are no indoor cameras.

Shenandoah River Waterfront Getaway

Relax in a quiet country setting, in a large 1865 farmhouse, on a working farm. The space Red Vallee Farmhouse has been the home of the McClanahan family for more than one hundred years. The first McClanahan's to live and farm here were John William, wife Sally, and their three children Mildred, Paul William, and Alfred Eugene (Red). The farmhouse gets its name from Alfred (Red) and his wife Vallee, the parents of the present owner. The three bedrooms are named for their three children Jean, Nancy, and Sally who occupied those rooms. Growing up working and playing on the farm made for hundreds of memories. Horses, cats, and dogs were sources of enjoyment and entertainment for the three children of Red and Vallee. The ninety acre farm produces hay, wheat, corn, soybeans, and beef cattle. Many items in the house are original to the house. The breath-taking stairwell is a marvel credited to fine craftsmen of the 1800's. The architecture remains the same as when the home was built.
