This is also the best place to be for a sunset on the lake. The space Set up to provide a fun mountain getaway, the space has a rustic feel. Warm wood tones with fireplaces on two levels, one wood burning and one pellet stove. The large kitchen has just been renovated with new granite. Off of the main living room you will find 2 Master suites. One with a king bed and one with a queen bed. Both with smart TV's. The king master has a glass slider that opens to the lake view. Behind the fireplace is a 15 x 60 ft sitting area that overlooks the lake. Part of this space is the bonus/5th bedroom with 2 single beds. Go down stairs and find the second living room with a 55 in smart TV. Off of this space you find a renovated bathroom to support the 3rd and 4th bedrooms. Both bedrooms have queen sleigh beds and a bunk bed in each capable of sleeping 4 people per room. Guests will need to follow standard "lake house rules" for water conservation. The lake is private and can be used by guests alongside Lakeview Dr. Note that there are several entrance points along the lake for fishing, kayaking, or other activities, and the designated beach/swim area is only about 20 yards long (there is no sandy area along the entire lake perimeter). Lakeview Dr. has two-way traffic. Guests should use caution when walking to local restaurants and shops. Arrival: The final 10-meter stretch of the driveway is a bit bumpy; we recommend taking it slow as you approach . Guest access All guests have access to three floors. Two closets will be locked for the housekeepers. All guests have full access to two off-street parking lots with room for 5-6 cars, a large deck, front and back yards, hot tub, fire pit, and all amenities. Accessibility Notes: This is not a “stair-free” home. There are 4-5 stairs from either parking lot to get to the home’s walkway. There are also 3-4 stairs to get up to the front door. The first floor has a queen bedroom, full bath with walk-in rainhead shower, kitchen, living room with sleeping amenities, and laundry. Other things to note I do not collect a security deposit. However, guests will be asked to walk through the home no later than 12-hours after check-in and let the host know of any pre-existing damage on or around the property (e.g., stain or scratch on sofa or rug, broken chair, damaged walls, or any other damage). If guests see any damage the guests are asked to take a picture and send it to the host with the 12-hour window. If no damage is reported, the guests are indicating that the home was damage-free at the time of their arrival. PLEASE NOTE: All electronic accessories and system connections—including USB converters, plugs, hot tub system components, and the Fire Stick in the loft—are essential parts of the home and are clearly labeled not to be removed or tampered with. These items are provided for guest use only during your stay and must remain in the home at all times; any missing, damaged, or removed electronic equipment or connections will incur a $100 replacement fee, which may be deducted from the security deposit or charged through the booking platform. Extra Guest Policy: We allow up to 2 additional overnight guests for $50/night per person. Important: We only provide beds and linens for up to 13 guests. Any additional guests beyond this number will need to bring their own bedding/sleeping arrangements. Summer Season Notice: During the summer months, our cabin does not have air conditioning in each bedroom. However, every bedroom is equipped with a fan, and there are air conditioning units in both the living room and the basement to help keep the cabin comfortable. If you prefer a cooler temperature, we recommend using the bedroom fans while enjoying the air-conditioned common areas. Fireplace Update: Please note that our fireplace is currently undergoing maintenance. Replacement parts have been ordered and are expected to arrive in early August. As a result, the fireplace may be unavailable for stays during July and early August.
