Downtown Lansing is a five-minute drive, not a walk. Parking here is free and off-street, so most guests keep a car. 4. Oakland Avenue is a busy road. This Lansing home has been fully remodeled while holding its vintage charm in a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street. It is close to all that Lansing has to offer, 2 miles to the edge of MSU campus and 1 mile to downtown Lansing. 1st floor feels open and cozy with a pull-out sofa and large TV, open concept sitting room near the kitchen, full bathrooms on both the 1st and 2nd floor, queen bedroom on main floor, 2 more bedrooms upstairs w/ King and Full beds. And a nice front porch to relax. The space On the main floor the kitchen is open to the dining room and a large sitting room with a spacious window looking out towards the trees in the back yard. The first floor bedroom has a Queen size bed, and a full bathroom close by. The second floor has a spa like bathroom with a spacious tiled shower close to both bedrooms. There are 2 upstairs bedrooms, the master bedroom has a King sized bed and the other bedroom has a full size bed with a twin pull out trundle bed underneath. The living room at the front of the house is a great place to hang out as a group with a large TV for movies and a large coffee table for games! Just a few steps away from a large park with walking paths, a garden and playground. Guest access Guests will have the entire 2 story home and the long driveway the length of the property to themselves during their stay. As well washer and dryer, yard, and comfy front porch. Other things to note The house is comfortable and clean and offers a private quiet stay. Please note, while we have remodeled and updated the entire home, it was originally built in 1911 so it does have some of its old house quirks. It has central air but the upstairs bedrooms can get a bit warm in the hottest part of the summer, so we have some plug in fans available. Beautiful Home in a quiet neighborhood close to MSU, LCC, Sparrow Hospital, Downtown Lansing, Shopping at Eastwood Mall, and a quick walk to parks, restaurants and coffee shops. This 1906 home has been nicely renovated by my husband and I. We remodeled the upstairs into a luxurious master bedroom suite with cathedral ceilings, jetted bathtub, and stone tiled shower with a large walk in closet with a washer and dryer inside. Fenced in backyard with easy access from kitchen backdoor for your pup. The space The house is clean, simple, and spacious. We provide the softest bedding and sheets, Tempurpedic mattresses and fluffy pillows. The Master bedroom is stunning with its cedar wood cathedral ceiling, marble tile, and has all the luxuries of a jacuzzi tub, and walk in closet with its own washer and dryer. A perfect place for a romantic getaway or comfy space after a long day. Free wi-fi is included, and Fire-sticks connected to the TVs for access to your own movie and TV subscriptions. The bedrooms each can sleep two people and there is room for a 7th on a large soft sofa with nice cushions. The bathroom on the main floor off the kitchen has a corner stand up shower. The space I have been a Airbnb host for several years. It has been a pleasure for me being a Host. I will accept pets. I love animals. I have a little dog and cat. I live next door, so you cant have pets they dont get along with other animals. Or try to eat my little dog or cat..lol I take pride in my house. I do everything I can to make your stay enjoyable. This house is over 100 years old. I have done my best to keep it original..but in good working order with proper upgrades. Update note - on 4-7-2021 I just installed a new 50 gallon water heater, brand new high efficiency furnace with a hepa 13 grade air filter, this is hospital grade. The furnace fan always runs at 10% or more. This will help keep the air clean. I also added central air. Guest access I would prefer if the attic was not accessed, the stairs are very steep. Other things to note I live right next door so its not difficult for me to make sure everything is as safe for my guest to my best ability. Im available for any questions feel free to ask. Supplies should be well stocked so no need to venture down. Other things to note Lansing has very colorful residents and our neighbors can be quite loud or annoying at times. We have done our best to ensure your privacy & safety, so please let us know if anything extreme or out of the ordinary arises. We do not allow any smoking in the house and it is an automatic $250 fine if there is any evidence of that happening. Also we have a very strict policy around parties. Under no circumstances are parties allowed and there will be an $800 fine imposed if a party takes place.
