Mt. Helix Paradise

The kitchen is open to the dining room and the living room - overlooking the pool. No stairs. There is a playroom full of toys for your children. There are books and board games for the whole family. 2 private yards: you have access to a front yard and the backyard with the pool and heated spa. (Pool can be heated at additional fee) The house is located in a secluded part of Mt Helix, you will feel far from everything but you are only 15mn of downtown. The space The house has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bath. Please note that the pictures only show bedrooms with bunk beds but eventually we will have king bed on each bedroom. You can heat up the spa, you hava access to a push button to turn it on. The pool can be heated at an additional fee per day. There is no extra fee for heating the jacuzzi/hot tub. For the whole pool, it’s $150 for the first day. Then if you decide to continue to keep it on the following days, we can maintain for $100 per consecutive day. Please note we will only maintain the heated temperature during the times of 10am to 5pm. We do not heat the pool during summer months: June to mid September

Off-street and street parking. Onsite property managers live in the guest house on the property but are fully separated, ensuring your privacy. The space There are 4 bedrooms: 3 upstairs and 1 on the main floor (one small step is required to access the lower bedroom). The upstairs master suite includes en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, his and hers toilet rooms, and a walk-out private deck with an amazing view. A second upstairs bedroom with a double vanity bathroom featuring a soaking tub and shower (this shower is small, please be aware). The third bedroom on the upper floor shares that bathroom and also serves as an exercise/workout room. The 4th bedroom (main floor) has an exterior door to the backyard, and an attached bathroom with shower, which is also accessible/usable by the main floor. There are patio heaters and a fire pit in the outdoor sitting areas, as well as a covered cabana with a projection tv on the lower level by the pool/hot tub. The pool has a solar heating system, making it generally usable year-round. There is a guest house next to the property which is occupied by the property manager so if you have any maintenance or personal needs, we have someone generally available 24/7 (their space is fully separated from the house, ensuring your privacy). We are longtime Airbnb Superhosts (from previous listings) who are now renting our primary residence out while we travel and live part-time in Colorado. As such, some of our personal belongings are in the space, but in general the space will be fully accessible and usable to you other than an office which will be locked. Guest access The guest house's backyard space is divided off by a white fence on the patio. Please do not park in front of the guest house or its garage. The rest of the property is available for your enjoyment other than a small office and attic storage spaces which will be locked, as well as the exterior shed which will also be locked. However, guests should note that the property is in a quiet area, and local noise ordinances are strictly enforced. Families and children are welcome. The pool area requires supervision for young children and is fully gated. Although we love pets, pets are not allowed. 🚫 no diving in the pool and smoking is prohibited on the premises. It's great for groups seeking easy access to San Diego's highlights (15 to 20 minutes to Beaches and Downtown) The space This amazingly remodeled home is both family and group friendly. It sits high a hilltop and offers stunning views from its backyard. Every square foot of space inside and outside the home has been carefully designed with the guests in mind. The private backyard saltwater pool is newly remodeled and includes LED lights and a heated spa from which you can enjoy amazing views of the mountains. Saltwater pools and Spa produce softer-feeling water. Other backyard activities include our putting green, a BBQ grill, and an outdoor kitchen. The grill sits on a deck with plenty of outdoor furniture. There is also a fire pit on the deck in the backyard. Both the BBQ grill and fire pit use natural gas so you don't have to worry about changing out propane tanks or running out of gas. The interior of the home contains a newly remodeled kitchen with all new high-end appliances and a large dining table. The living room has plush couches, an 86 inch flat screen Smart TV, and an Atari arcade. Two more of the bedrooms could also be found with large flat screen Smart TV's. The two stylish bathrooms could easily be mistaken for those seen in resorts and spas. Other things to note No smoking will be allowed inside the house (there will be a fine if there is the smell of smoke found inside the house of $350) Two cars can be securely parked inside the garage. An additional 3 cars can be parked in the driveway. The pool or spa can be heated upon request for an additional fee. 24 hours advance is needed to heat up pool as it takes a long time to heat up the big pool. The spa only takes about an hour to heat up. The pool is heated to 80 degrees F which is the standard temperature for heated pools in most major hotels. The spa is heated to 100 degrees F. If you would like the pool to be heated a few degrees hotter up to 84F please let us know in advance as it takes quite a while to heat up the large pool even a few degrees. Please don't touch the pool equipment. The pool guy stops by every Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon for cleaning and maintenance. EV charger (220V Level 2) available upon request for an additional fee I will always be available 24/7 to answer any questions or requests you may have. My goal is to make your stay and experience as enjoyable as Waste management pick up occurs every Tuesday morning. The space Upon making the turn up the long driveway to this beautiful home in the hills, you will be swept away into the privacy and quiet serenity. This is the front home, with two smaller vacation rentals sharing the outdoor spaces of the property. Going up the two front steps, you will find the entry door with a welcome sign, and keyless entry smart lock on the door to your right. You will enter the home into a formal entryway which leads to the living room. The hallway has two entries, one being through the living room. Going to the right of the hall you will find the master bed and bath to the end on the right. The master bedroom provides a large king bed, bookcase, dresser, two closets, and many drawers. The master bath has a large glassed in shower and double sinks. Across the hall from this room is the room with two double beds. Down the hall from these rooms is first the room with the double bed, Smart TV, and Big Joe beanbag chair, followed by the second bathroom, with tub, and double sinks, and the laundry area. At the opposite end of the hall from the master is the room with the queen bed, sliding door to the backyard, and sitting chair. Also in the hall you will find large closets with additional towels, laundry supplies, and storage space. Each bedroom has a long closet with plenty of hangers, and drawers to get comfortably unpacked and feel right at home. With easy access to laundry, you can be confident you'll have clean clothes for your vacation no matter how much you decide to pack. Exiting the hallway through the far side next to the queen room, you will enter into the kitchen, where you will see panoramic views of the pool and the surrounding trees. There is also an office desk for those who want to get some work done, while taking in the views. In the kitchen, we've taken special care in deciding what to provide, including stainless steel cookware and cooking utensils, and Kingstone cutlery so you can feel comfortable to cook any and every meal. We also provide salt and pepper grinders, cooking oil, and coffee mugs, drinking, and wine glasses for all. With mixing bowls, Tupperware, and Pyrex dishes, you can prepare any dinner or dessert while taking in the views. Did somebody say popcorn? We have furnished this home with a nostalgia popcorn maker, with kernels, oil, and bags to provide a fun vacation experience. The coffee bar is also stocked with hot chocolate for the kids, as well as coffee and teas. Whether you decide to go with the French press, or the standard drip coffee, you will have no problem getting your caffeine. To the left of the kitchen is the dining table, and second fireplace, which is an open concept, wrapping back around to the living room. The living room provides a big screen TV and a large sectional with a chaise. Games and puzzles are also provided for your enjoyment. Travel crib, toddler floor mattress, and high chair are available in the entry closet for those traveling with littles. (Occupancy can be extended to 12 guests if utilizing both additional sleeping arrangements) Guests do not have garage access. Outdoor spaces are shared with other guests. We also love to travel together and have worked hard to make our vacation homes enjoyable for large families similar to ours. We hope that you enjoy them as much as we have! During your stay, you will have access to the entire house excluding the garage and Master closet. This includes 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, large family room, spacious game room with a pool table, shuffle board, arcade games, skee ball and darts. You will have outside access to the entire upper property including BBQ, fire pit, gated pool & spa right off of the house. Putting green, horseshoes, ping pong, and cornhole. There are 3 separate gazebos to relax in as well. The only exclusion will be the gated lower property. We may or may not be on the lower property in our 5th wheel (which has a separate access and parking from the main house) or at our near by second family home. However, we are available for any needs or questions you might have. :) Please keep in mind this property is in a quiet family, friendly neighborhood. Not a party house. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Guest access There is parking available in our private driveway and on the public street for free. There are plenty of Uber/Lyft drivers in the community to help you get around. For parking, we provide garage space and a driveway that can accommodate multiple vehicles. There's also street parking available at the bottom of the driveway. If you require additional parking, please feel free to request access to the back driveway. We look forward to hosting you! Other things to note We living close to two major freeways the 94 and the 8. However, you will not hear any of the noise from the freeway as we are tucked far enough away to enjoy the peaceful backyard . We also get a fantastic breeze that comes through the house when you open the back door. We also have central air for exceptionally hot times. We also have numerous fans though out the house .

No smoking inside the house. No illegal drugs of any kind are allowed on the property. There will be a $1000/occurrence fine for violation. 3. No pets are allowed. If pets are discovered on the property, an additional cleaning charge will be applied. 4. This property has video surveillance in exterior areas to ensure the safety and security of all guests. 5. Self check in with a smart lock after 4PM and checkout by 11AM. 6. No extra/overnight guests. Each additional guest will be charged at $125 per night. 7. No mail deliveries can be made here. 8. If an excessive mess is discovered after your stay, you will be charged accordingly on top of the standard cleaning fee. 9. Each lost, missing, or damaged remote has a replacement cost of $200 each. 10. There is no daily house keeping service. 11. When you make a reservation with me, you are agreeing to all of the above House Rules. HOT TUB: 1. When using the hot tub, I kindly ask you to keep and leave it in the same condition as it was when you arrived. Please be careful and make sure not to throw trash of any sort inside. After you leave, if for any reason I must arrange for excessive hot tub maintenance due to trash or damage, you may be subject to an automatic $1000 fine, depending on the type of the damage. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: 1. This home is privately owned; the owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
