Our fabulous townhouse is situated 5 minutes walk to the famous Cataract Gorge ( spectacular swimming, wildlife, hiking. rock climbing, majestic dolerite cliffs, the longest single chairlift span in the world), 25 minutes walk to CBD or the hospital (5 minutes by car). Our house is very warm and sunny with great views: full kitchen/ laundry facilities, garage, courtyard dining, separate shower and toilet, full sized bath, beautiful Tasmanian celery top pine timber kitchen with granite benches The space As hosts, we have considered what we like when we stay away and have tried to include these- very comfortable beds, several types of quality pillows to choose from, quality sheets and towels, a well stocked kitchen with mix master, rice cooker, sandwich maker, blender etc. We also have a large range of DVDs and books and children's toys for guests to use. We have recently added NBN Wifi. Our house includes a lock up single garage and 1 further off-road parking spot. We have a gorgeous private courtyard complete with outdoor furniture and a barbeque for guests to use. One bedroom has a queen bed and has a spare single mattress under the bed that can be utilised. One bedroom has a double bed, and the third bedroom has a triple bunk, double on the bottom and single on the top...we also have a single mattress under this bunk that could be utilised. We also recently put a set of single bunks downstairs in the lined garage that guests upon request can use, but there is no heating in the garage so this might not suit some guests in the cooler months. Our house is heated by a reverse cycle air conditioner that is designed to heat or cool the whole house, and it receives lots of natural sunshine. So we have the capacity to sleep 10 guests, but guests need to understand the bedding set up and note the fact we only have one bathroom and one toilet when considering booking for larger numbers. The house is probably ideally suited for up to 6 guests but we are happy to accomodate more if guests understand the sleeping arrangements described above. We have a Porta cot and bedding available.
