Other things to note Cayuga Breeze sits along the scenic Route 90 lakeside corridor; the same road that gives you those gorgeous lake views and puts you steps from the marina, village, and wine trail. Like most lakeside properties on Cayuga, you’ll occasionally hear passing traffic, though guests consistently tell us the views and location more than make up for it if they even hear it. As with any lakeside property in the Finger Lakes, summer months bring the occasional gnat or bug; it’s part of the charm of being this close to the water. We do professional pest control, have a few bug-repellent plants, and keep bug spray on hand for guests. A little spray goes a long way and most guests barely notice. This residence is safeguarded by an alarm system with sensors on all ground-level windows and doors. For added security, three outdoor cameras are in place—one at the front door, another overlooking the driveway and garage, and the third monitoring the driveway accessible from the back deck, audio is recorded. With a large grassy backyard, you'll find plenty of space for games and relaxation with the Adirondack chairs and loungers provided. Bring your own boat or use the available kayaks to take advantage of the 50 feet of private lake frontage and a large dock. The spacious living room is complete with chairs and a large sectional sofa, a 55 inch smart TV with a sound-bar and a cozy gas fireplace. Each bedroom is equipped with a Nectar memory foam mattress. The nearby attractions are plentiful. There are two wineries within walking distance: Quarry Ridge, and Heart & Hands. Rent a boat from the marina next door. For couples, families, friends, and water enthusiasts, this has it all! The space This property is ideal because of the huge, spacious yard leading to the private lake frontage. While the property has a sea wall and dock that is great for fishing, boating, and swimming there is also a shallow entrance for young children to walk in and perfect for launching kayaks and water rafts. There are no dangerous steps to the water just a gentle incline from the house leading to the lake with plenty of room to play! Located in the village, the property is .75 acres. There is a privacy fence between the home and the neighbor to the north and there is a natural wooded border between the house and the neighbor to the south. This property also has access to public utilities (no wells or septic tanks) which is rare for Finger Lakes rentals. Built in 1870 this older home has its original charm with hardwood floors, and lower ceilings (seven feet high) but it has been completely updated in its amenities. There is WiFi available throughout the house and there are three smart TVs in the house; two in the bedrooms and one in the living room. The home also has a main level bedroom and walk in shower for those who require such. The owners do not live on the property but are close by if you have any trouble. You have complete access to the entire property including the dock and waterfront. Two sit on top kayaks and several river rafts are provided... at no additional cost!! **Please note that by agreeing to the rental of the house you are also agreeing to read and adhere to the liability waiver associated with the use of aquatic equipment. This home is available to rent year round as there is forced air heat and central air conditioning throughout. I do try to meet the requests of all my guests. If possible, I will allow late check outs and early check in times when it doesn’t interfere with other rentals (at no charge). Fully screened-in porch- Enjoy dinner with a great view without the hassle of bugs. The large table seats six comfortably. The porch leads to the concrete pad with grill access and overlooks the yards and lake. Always a guest favorite. For those who may have forgotten, there is shampoo, conditioner, body wash and most all toiletries needed in stock. We keep a hairdryer, iron and ironing board in the house at all times. Also in this room is the top load washer and dryer. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets also provided. Bedroom 1- Located on the first floor, this room has a brand new Nectar adjustable base queen size memory foam bed, 40” Smart TV, large closet with hangers, night stand, full length mirror and alarm clock with USB ports. Bedroom 2- Located upstairs this room has a king size bed, 42” Smart TV, two bed side tables, built in bookshelf, and an alarm clock with USB ports. Bedroom 3- Located upstairs this room has a queen size bed, night stand, small closet, infant crib, and a toy box filled with toys. This room also has an alarm clock with built in USB ports. ** All beds come made with linens, comforters, pillows, throw pillows, and throw blankets (exactly as pictured)! Outside- A huge yard leads to the lake at a gentle incline. No steps or stairs! There is a shed which houses the kayaks, river rafts and lawn games. The house has three entrances. One is off of the small porch facing the lake which leads to the main door with keypad entry. A unique 4 digit code is given to guests prior to arrival. Don’t forget the fire pit! Along with Adirondack style chairs this area is large enough for 6 guests to easily fit around. It's set up right by the lake for beautiful sunsets and roasted marshmallows. We provide our guests with a charcoal and a propane grill for cooking in summer. Please provide your own charcoal and lighter fluid (although check ahead, some guests leave this behind). Propane is provided. Parking- The driveway easily accommodates two large or three small vehicles plus road side parking affords room for 3 additional vehicles on the house side of the road. Extras!! - Two sit-on-top adult kayaks are provided. One child kayak (up to 120 pounds), life jackets, paddles, and whistles included. - River rafts also provided. Read liability waiver in the rental rules. - For more advanced kayakers and those looking for canoes, tandem kayaks, and stand up paddle-boards there is a local company who will rent these out and deliver to my guests. Disney Plus is also available. - There are sand toys in the sandbox. - The outdoor game Corn Hole, Ladder Ball and Bocce are available in the shed by the house. Help yourselves!! The property has a sea wall and boat dock with a ladder for easy swimming access. The seawall allows for the property to extend further out into the water than the surrounding neighbors. This enhances the serenity and beauty of the views. The dock can be used to load and unload guests from a boat. A local company offers wine tours by boat. Since my home is directly on the way to the wineries the captain may pick my guests up at my dock. Please inquire for more information! For overnight mooring we recommend you keep the boat at the marina next door. It is a temporary dock so if the water is choppy or if you choose to moor overnight or in rough water, we take no responsibility for damages to the boat and you would be liable for damages to our property or neighboring property if applicable. Pontoon boats are available for rent for larger parties with advance reservations from the Marina next door. I will gladly help you coordinate any activities! Guest access Guests have access to the entire property plus the lake and dock. Other things to note The house was built over 100 years ago. While the major amenities have been updated, I did try to maintain the homes natural charm. The ceilings are low, the floors may creak and they are not perfectly level. The steps to the second floor are steep and narrow. If you need a brand new, modern home, than this listing is NOT for you. If you want an immaculately cleaned, cute home, with lots of character, directly on the lake with an enormous yard, than please book!! The lake is wonderful for swimming and fishing. Right off the dock the bottom is very sandy, however there may be small stones and plants. Some people may prefer to wear flip flops or water shoes. Inflatable toys and rafts are always welcome as are canoes, kayaks and paddleboats. These items are to be used at the guest's own risk. During summer months the lawn is mowed once a week on Monday through Wednesday (depending on the weather) between the hours of 3 and 5 pm. Mowing only takes 45 minutes and we do our best to minimize any inconvenience for our guests. This home is located along a NY state scenic highway in the village. There is some truck traffic which is increased during the summer months. For most, the benefit of public utilities with high pressure shower and faucets, and toilets that flush properly outweighs this slight inconvenience. Being inside the village also affords the ability to quickly pick up items you may have forgotten at the local market just a quarter mile away. Those that are looking for absolutely quiet nights away from all traffic this may hinder your decision to book.

Cayuga lake is right out the front door. Nice area to swim, and relax on our concrete deck. Gas grill is available, full kitchen to cook as well. Close to wineries and Del Lago casino. Guest access Private entrance, guests have the entire house. Other things to note Canoe available for use. Life jackets (in cottage) are required when using canoe at all times. We do not have the ability to launch or moor boats. Any boats would need to be launched at the state launch which is 5 miles away.

The space Escape to this two-story house with views and direct access to the beautiful shores of Cayuga Lake. Our home features four-bedrooms with stunning lake views, dock and endless water activities. Inside our home, you'll find a well-appointed space with a dining area, living area, and a full kitchen equipped with modern amenities, including a dishwasher, gas stove, and refrigerator. The bedroom on the 1st floor offers a King bed and ensuite bathroom. The back covered porch is perfect for enjoying morning coffee or sunsets, while the yard features a gas grill for summertime BBQs, firepit, and water toys for use (with signed waiver). Guests have access to two kayaks and a stand-up paddle board to explore the crystal clear waters of Cayuga Lake, with a shallow water access area perfect for swimming. Life preservers are provided in outdoor storage near the boat rack. The seasonal dock is installed in the summer, and provides a wonderful location for fishing. Outdoor beach towels are also provided. Also enjoy our newly installed boat ramp, with direct access into the water. This stone entry makes it perfect for easy access into and out of the water. Some joys and challenges of living on Cayuga Lake—you maybe have wildlife enter the yard which includes geese, ducks, deer and other small animals (and everything they bring with them). We do our best to have the yard and ramp free and clear of debris that may wash ashore in advance of your stay, however you may experience this during your stay at our home. In the room under the porch, there are games guests may use in the yard, including cornhole and croquet. We also provide a folding table and chairs for outdoor eating. There are 4 outdoor security cameras covering front and rear entrances to the house, the garage, and the back yard. The dining area features a rustic 10-foot long dining room table with seating for 12, handmade by a skilled local craftsman, and overlooks the lake through wall-to-wall windows. Upstairs you’ll find 3 more bedrooms and another full bathroom. Two of the upstairs bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen) face the lake, allowing you to wake up to our beautiful Cayuga Lake sunrises. The 3rd upstairs bedroom is the “Bunk Room”, and is perfect for kids of all ages, but can also accommodate adults/couples as well on a full mattress 1 sets of bunk beds twin/full and another Twin bed. All the upstairs bedrooms have 32” flat screen Smart TVs and Blu Ray players, and the Bunk Room also features a Twin Memory Foam Sleeper Sofa (feel free to bring your kids’ game console and plug it in). The screened-in Three Season Room overlooking the lake is accessible from the kitchen or back yard and is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of local wine with your friends at night or when the weather isn’t perfect. Walk out the back door of the Three Season Room onto a path leading straight out onto an elevated deck that sits atop our boathouse adjacent to the lake. The trees above this deck provide a natural canopy. Or take a left onto the main deck and fire up the grill or take a dip in the 8-person Jacuzzi (4 adults only please) Head down the stairs in the back yard to the lakeside lawn and cook up some S’mores in the fire pit with the whole family. Walk out the dock over the water to a 20’ x 8’ fishing/lounging platform with Adirondack chairs, etc. Go for a swim, go fishing or take a ride on one of our 2 kayaks. If you have your own boat, we also have a 4500lb boat lift (ask us about availability). You’re also in the heart of wine country (not to mention breweries and distilleries which are cropping up all over as well) and not far from beautiful waterfalls (including the tallest in NY State - Taughannock Falls). Historic downtown Seneca Falls is just 8 miles away and was the inspiration for “Bedford Falls” in Frank Capra’s “It’s a Wonderful Life”, starring Jimmy Stewart. Del Lago Casino is just 14 miles away in Tyre, NY, adding to the already robust local attractions. Waterloo Premium Outlets is only 17 miles away. Seneca Falls Country Club is 5 miles away. Perfect rental for Parent’s or Graduation weeks at local colleges: NY Chiropractic College - 6 miles, Hobart and William Smith College -16 miles, Cornell University - 35 miles, Ithaca College - 36 miles. I grew up in the Binghamton NY area, before attended RIT for college, and then settling down in Rochester, where I now live with my wife and teenage son. I've lived in upstate NY my whole life and I love the Finger Lakes, and Cayuga Lake in particular. Growing up, my best friend's parents had a boat on Cayuga, and they'd take me out on their boat all the time (and they still do!). What some people may not know about Cayuga Lake (as opposed to Seneca) is that it has almost 10 wineries that are accessible by boat. If you have your own boat (or if you rent one from one of the nearby marinas), there is simply no better way to do a wine tour. And the fishing on Cayuga is incredible too. I looked at a lot of lakefront homes on Cayuga and fell in love with this one as soon as I saw it. The rooms are huge and the views are incredible from all over the house. The Three Season Room is awesome and is the perfect balance of indoors/outdoors. I want to make the house a dream getaway for everyone. A lot of updates are being done before the first renters arrive (new Jacuzzi install, new dock & lift, new furniture, etc.) and I plan to do more updates in the future in between seasons. I'll be asking all renters for suggestions and plan to incorporate these suggestions wherever possible. Inside, you'll find a fully outfitted large kitchen, and plenty of eating space at the bar, in the dining area, or on the 3-season porch. Like most lakeside properties on Cayuga, you’ll occasionally hear passing traffic, though guests consistently tell us the views and location more than make up for it if they even hear it. As with any lakeside property in the Finger Lakes, summer months bring the occasional gnat or bug; it’s part of the charm of being this close to the water. We do professional pest control, have a few bug-repellent plants, and keep bug spray on hand for guests. A little spray goes a long way and most guests barely notice. This residence is safeguarded by an alarm system with sensors on all ground-level windows and doors. For added security, three outdoor cameras are in place—one at the front door, another overlooking the driveway and garage, and the third monitoring the driveway accessible from the back deck, audio is recorded. Charming second-story apt w/private entrance, within walking distance of FLX Marina, the library and a grocery store. The master bedroom features a queen bed, a dresser, large closet, stand-up mirror & smart TV. The second bedroom features a full bed, twin bed, and dresser. The kitchen has a large island & dining room table. The living room offers a smart TV and two couches. Laundry on site for convenience. The unit is above a tavern. Hours are as follows: Wed-Thursday 4pm-11 pm *Wed hours are June-August only Friday 4pm-12pm Sat 12 pm-12 am Sunday's 12-9pm If there is a game on TV and we have customers we may stay open a little longer. We have sound proofing measures in place on the tavern ceiling and there are two sound machines, one for each bedroom. The atmosphere of the tavern is a small town sports bar. It is not a busy club with loud music. However, if you are sensitive to noise and need to go to bed before 11pm, this may not be the unit for you. Want to be as transparent as possible. Guest access Guests can use the entire apartment! Parking is behind the building and the exterior entrance door is only shared with the owners of the building. The stairs and basement will be accessed by tavern employees. The apt is on the second floor and only the owners have a key. Renters are supplied with a key to the apt and the exterior entrance while renting. Parking is next to the concrete pad, very close to the entrance to the unit. Do not park on the concrete pad. Do not park along the fence or in front of the other buildings. When you enter the shared driveway please go slow and watch out for pets. Other things to note The kitchen features a single Keurig brewer. It’s located in a cabinet across from the refrigerator along with casserole pans and the hot water kettle. We do provide hand soap, dish soap, and a sponge for cleaning dishes. We do not provide body soap or shampoo and conditioner. We provide linen and blankets for the beds along with pillows and two throw blanks. For 3 beds there are a total of 9 pillows. We also provide 7 bath towels, 6 hand towels, and 6 wash cloths. We have an iron and ironing board for clothes, 2 luggage racks and a hair dryer.

Perfect for small families or couples looking for a peaceful getaway. Located just 5 minutes north of Aurora in the heart of the Finger Lakes. For host reviews, check out our sister cottage O’vr Water Cottage in Aurora! The space Long Shot Cottage is located on our privately owned 54 acre farm. It is 4/10ths of a mile off the main road of State Route 90 on a private gravel laneway. Our vintage beachfront cottage is a totally restored 3 seasons retreat with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and open living and dining area. Each bedroom has their own central air conditioning and heat, along with the main area for complete comfort. Main living space has a Roku smart TV as well as the king bedroom. Cozy Earth natural bed linens, bathing towels and beach towels are provided. Since this is a seasonal cottage, we do not have laundry. There is a laundromat located just 5 minutes north in the village of Union Springs. Our large screened in porch with dining and lounge area provides added space outdoors while staying cool in the shade. Enjoy the luxuries of a beach resort while showering under the peaceful canopy of trees in our outdoor shower and rinse the sand from your feet in our mini foot shower. Our private sand cove is home to many varieties of wild life. Some of the most common that we have seen here are bald eagles, blue herons, osprey, many species of ducks/geese and swans. The north end of our lakefront (the point) belongs to our personal property and is separate from the beach cove. This is clearly marked with a sign. Firewood and firepit keep the fall nights cozy. Owners live within an hour of the property for any issues or to assist. Combination washer/dryer unit in bath closet. All spaces are heated/cooled from new heat pump system that can be individually controlled, with units in each bedroom and main rooms. The house is also located directly on the Cayuga Wine Trail near one of our favorites Knapp Winery, and conveniently located near Seneca Falls and Geneva, grocers, restaurants, wineries, breweries, the Waterloo Outlet Mall and more! Towards the south end of the lake sits Ithaca College and the Corning Museum of glass, as well as many gorgeous areas for hiking, swimming and experiencing amazing waterfalls.

Shady Beach Finger Lakes Home on Cayuga Wine Trail

This beautiful vacation spot consists of 3 houses on the property with 110' of waterfront on Cayuga Lake and a total 4,708 sq. ft. of space. The homes just underwent a full renovation which includes updated kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture. The homes can sleep 24+ in beds. There is a 75' dock with a sitting area at the end. The water is quite clear and not too deep so it stays relatively warm, great for swimming. The space Main House: The Main House which has 4 bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms is broken up into two spaces. The large space has the main common area which consists of a central kitchen overlooking the lake with granite countertops and all the amenities, an attached dining room that opens into the lake-facing living room with large glass windows overlooking the water, and a TV. There is a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a sitting area, tv, and full bath overlooking the water, there is also a separate wing with two bedrooms one of which has two custom-made adult-size bunk beds in it and the second has a full bed. Also in the middle room, there is a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and a twin on the top. Sharing the same entrance to this house is a one-bedroom apartment.
