Burlington Loft: Indoor Spa, Cinema, Sleeps 10

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. This house has a very small carbon footprint and is mostly run on solar. This has been an amazing home, quiet, and spacious, and meant to be enjoyed. The space There are two bedrooms downstairs that share a bathroom. There are a couple steps to get into the home on the first floor on the front of the house. Kitchen, living room, and dining area, along with a lower porch to the backyard are all on the first floor. Upstairs is two bedrooms, and two baths. The main master bedroom has a recently renovated master bathroom, with circular bathtub, steam shower, toilet. The other bedroom has a bathroom off the hallway, that has a shower, toilet and vanity. Owner is living in the basement, where her apartment is, and available IF needed. Guests are welcome to use the house, and back yard. We do ask that you pick up after yourselves and your pets if you are bringing them. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house, other than one bedroom in the upstairs of the home, that is locked and kept shut. The owner lives in the basement which you won't have access to, but have access to the driveway, and two stories of the home, and back yard. Other things to note The previous owner did smoke in the home, and although we haven't had many guests mention it, we thought we would mention it here for the guests that may be super sensitive to any smells. Local Garden House, Recently Updated, and Spacious

Our hand crafted custom home is full of delightful surprises, ready to nurture you into forgetting the world for a spell. From the cozy wood stove to the cedar sauna and our 125 year old deep copper bathtub, being at Treewild feels like an embrace. Absolutely welcoming to children, with Carl Larson alcove beds, a library full of children's books, a 60' marble roll, and a secret crawl-through space. There's even a tucked away toddler bed in the Ocean room. The space Treewild is home to a Forest Classroom on Thursdays and Fridays, so we have a very child-friendly outdoors, with a swing and balancing logs and wild climbing structures, a hobbit house, yurt, and over 15 miles of walking trails accessible from here. We have a chicken coop with a dozen hens (fresh organic eggs $5 doz!) The downstairs garden apartment is where we live with our two dogs and two kittens. Guest access This is our home in which we've raised two children and cared for our four elders. Now that our nest is empty, we've moved into the garden apartment, with a separate entrance, and are making the main house available to people who want to retreat to a very special place. If you have need for one more queen bed and a twin, we can open up the studio, which is also the room that holds all the magic for the forest classroom and summer camps.

Your stay won’t lack amenities: fully equipped chef’s kitchen, backyard patio, Roku tv. Beyond the private patio, wander onto the farm to pick your own berries for breakfast or arrange a tour with farmer/chef/host Anne. The space The house is very comfortable, with space to gather and space to be alone. The living room, dining room and kitchen have an open concept, so everyone can enjoy each other's company whether you're cooking in the large, well-appointed kitchen, having your morning coffee or lounging on the huge sectional. There's a large Vermont-made live-edge dining table for a crowd, or a smaller table for casual meals or chatting with the family chef. The master bedroom is very large and has it's own sitting area, with a sofa that can be made up as a single bed and an attached private bathroom. The other two bedrooms are modest and have a queen or a queen + twin loft bed and a dresser. Off the back of the house is a large bonus room that provides a great hang-out space with a 65" Roku tv, two pull-out sofas, a large table to play games and plenty of floor space for your morning yoga overlooking the peaceful gardens and woods beyond. Both sofas convert into queen size beds if you need more sleeping space, and the room has a door for privacy. There's also a mudroom/laundry room and a large two-car garage - plenty of space for your outdoor gear! Guest access Guests have private use of the entire house, garage and a small, fenced backyard with patio. Guests are welcome on the farm portion of the property and will sometimes see the host or other farm helpers there. Other things to note We welcome guests who love the idea of staying on a small urban farm and also those who just think the house will work for their needs. Farm tours are available to all guests, and fruits and vegetables are available for guests to pick according to the seasons. Outside the fence surrounding the guest's private backyard is our 2/3 acre urban farm, growing strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, plums, Asian pears, European pears, peaches, apricots, apples, asparagus and lots of annual vegetables. You're welcome to visit this part of the yard and and you may see the host or her helpers out there taking care of the farm. Past the farm you can enter the woods, cross a small stream, and walk miles of wooded trails. Alternately, you can walk 3 minutes down the street to the bike path, and take a paved path through the woods, to a children's playground, or to Overlook park to gaze at Lake Champlain. Guests should also note that the host lives directly across the street. I give my guests privacy, but I'm nearby if needed!

The Red Door Ranch! UVM! A home you can settle in with your friends and family. NEW UPDATES: king, two queens, two twins! Artfully designed and minimally furnished. Enjoy coffee and set about to enjoy Burlington. Need to work from home? We got you—we have a dedicated workspace with fast wifi. Space for two cars in driveway. Nearby local restaurants include Bliss Bee, Koto Sushi, Burlington Bagel Bakery, grocery stores and chains like Panera, Chipotle, 5 guys. Quiet & 10 minutes to downtown. The space This is a great ranch layout on one floor with a picture window out to the front yard and sliding doors out to deck and backyard. Guest access You will have access to the entire first floor ( the only floor) of the ranch home. You do not have access to the basement or the garage or the washer or dryer on any floor. Other things to note Bedding and Pillows: There are throw blankets around the house and/or in the closets of the Snowy Owl Room (Queen) and The Red Clover Room (the one with two beds a queen & a twin). The Maple Room is the King Room. There are extra twin and queen quilts. There are extra linens in storage containers, including a crib sheet and two Mexican blankets. There are extra pillows and every bed has at least two or four pillows. If you need more than 12 standard pillows for your group you will need to bring them. Children: We are happy to be an Airbnb that provides many of the things you get sick of packing for trips. We know how much stuff ends up in the car with little ones in tow! Please note because we have many guests that are traveling without children you will need to bring the kids items out of the closets and garage and set them up. The crib is an LA baby mini crib with a brand new pottery barn mattress one side for infant and one side for a toddler. We also have a high chair, a bumbo seat, a kids chair, and a toy box. Pets: We only allow hypoallergenic and potty trained dogs. They are not allowed on the furniture, if you can’t keep them off the couch then please bring your own doggie blanket and put it on the couch. Please clean up after your pet, this includes any waste they do in the yard. Extra charges will apply if you are unable to clean up after your pet. Kitchen: Tea kettle, and smaller ceramic tea pot. Minimal silverware, four to six settings. Waffle maker. Toaster. Coffee maker. Food processor. Please do not take anything out there without permission from owner. Dining Table: There are four chairs for the dining table, two extra chairs available. Please note: We have removed the High top table in kitchen, and replaced it with a regular dining table. Air Conditioners & Fans: Every bedroom has a fan. Our Burlington bungalow is a cozy and comfortable spot to stay in the south end of Burlington. A great location, it is a short drive to downtown restaurants and shops, the University of Vermont, and parks on beautiful Lake Champlain including Oak Ledge and Red Rocks. Gorgeous hikes, ski areas and small Vermont villages are a short drive, with easy access to 1-89. Enjoy our warm and charming home! The space Our home is just under 1000 square feet with three bedrooms and one small bathroom. The third bedroom that has the single bed is quite small. We have a lovely vine covered patio outside. Our bungalow is ideal for up to four adults, and is a bit tight for five. Guest access You have access to the whole house, patio and fenced in back yard. Please note that there is a covered in ground pool (not for use) and a latched gate preventing accidental access. Welcome to The 1865 Carriage Barn, a historic and cozy farmhouse retreat on 6 peaceful acres next to the Shelburne Pond Nature Reserve. Relax in the outdoor sauna (by reservation) after a day of skiing, hiking, or exploring Burlington—just 15 minutes away. The space The Carriage Barn is located on the grounds of an 1865 Greek Revival Farmhouse. It is a unique, rustic space with lots of character that sleeps 4 people. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds + full bathroom. (NOTE: One of the bedrooms does not have its own door. There is a privacy screen that separates it from the stairwell/hall that is used to access the bathroom and other bedroom.) Downstairs there is a futon/loveseat that converts into a full-size bed and a 2nd full bathroom with washer/dryer. Spacious full kitchen with breakfast bar (coffee/tea/hot chocolate provided). The living room has a Smart TV and a cozy gas fireplace. The porch is very pleasant with a nice view of the barn, the adjacent yard, and the hills out back. Enjoy a stroll along the mowed paths in our meadow. Cross-country ski or snowshoe on the miles of VAST Trails (VT Association of Snow Travelers) at the edge of our property. (Trail can be wet in the warmer months.) 2 pair of snowshoes are provided! The shared outdoor sauna is located next to the Carriage Barn’s porch and is a great place to relax and unwind. The sauna is shared with the Cottage guests, but for privacy is only available to be used by reservation to prevent other guests from using it at the same time. The Adirondack Chairs in front of the barn are a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning shade and watch all the cyclists going by, or to watch the sunset at night over the Adirondack Mountains. For the cyclists, Dorset Street is a very popular biking route. We are five minutes from historic Shelburne Village, Shelburne Farms and the Shelburne Museum. Alpine skiers will find five ski areas from which to choose within an hours' drive (Stowe Resort, Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, Smugglers Notch, Bolton Valley). Antique Shops abound in all directions. It is fifteen minutes from downtown Burlington's shops, restaurants, theaters and convenient to the airport (BTV), the University of Vermont and Lake Champlain's recreational activities. Enjoy hiking the Green Mountains year- round and be dazzled by the foliage in Autumn. Note: Beach Essentials amenity is checked but there is no snorkeling gear, just beach towels, mats, beach bag and umbrella. Welcome to the Aviary! We're excited to host you in our mid-century 800sq/ft apt. It is a fully private apt with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath (w/radiant flooring!), kitchen and living room. On the 2nd floor of our duplex with a private entrance and deck via exterior stairs. Truly unique property with fenced in yard space and 3 season cabin. Off-street parking for up to 3 cars or a truck pulling a boat for lake enthusiasts! Just a few mins walk to the beach or breweries and a 5 min drive to downtown! The space This apartment is located on the 2nd floor of our duplex. We live downstairs with our two dogs (Koko & Olive). We work from home, so we're downstairs most of the time, but do like to spend time outside and especially in the fenced-off area at the back of the property with the pups. As the name Aviary implies, there is a bird theme to this unit. Being on the second floor, all the windows are surrounded by trees making it feel like a cozy birdhouse! The newly built 14x14 private deck is nested in the trees and provides a calming space to relax and unwind. There is a gate that you can slide to close off the stairs access from the deck if you have littles or a pup that you want to keep contained while you enjoy the deck space. When you initially enter, you'll immediately walk into a tiled landing area that leads to the living room. There is a reading nook on the right side with built-in shelving. We've curated the selection of books and board games to coincide with the bird theme or somehow related to your stay in Vermont. We think you'll get a kick out of what's available :) The living room couch has pull out queen sized bed that can sleep 2 people. There is a wall-mounted 55" LG OLED TV with a Roku streaming stick. The streaming stick is setup in "Guest mode" where it will automatically log you out of the streaming apps you've logged into the day you check out (no need to remember!). Roku offers TV channels if you prefer to watch live TV instead. There is also a Super Nintendo Classic console connected to the TV. If you were a child of the 80's, the nostalgia will certainly come flooding back! The primary bedroom is to the left of the entrance. This is a spacious room with a queen size bed. There are built-in drawers and a large closet for storage. Both bedrooms have top-down bottom-up blackout shades for light-blocking and privacy. The unit is fully air conditioned with a floor-mounted heat-pump unit. This also serves as a heat-source in the colder seasons. The bedrooms and bathroom have secondary heat from water radiators along with radiant flooring in the bathroom (it's a real treat if you've never tried it). Past the living room on the left is the secondary bedroom with another queen bed and a small desk for working with a gorgeous view of our backyard garden. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials for your stay. For the coffee drinkers (like us), we keep a Nespresso machine with an assortment of pods (both caffeinated and decaf) or if you prefer to go old school, a French Press with ground coffee. If you prefer tea, an electric tea kettle with a range of delicious teas is available. In the bathroom, we stock Public Goods shampoo, conditioner and body washes. Please note, there is only a standing single shower unit (no bathtub). If you need to do any laundry, there is a stacked washer/dryer unit as well. If you're bringing your approved dog with you, we have a large 300 sq/ft private fenced in area of the back yard for them to run around where they can burn off their energy. Lounge in the Adirondack chairs while your dog runs around; taking in the tranquility of the various birds and pollinators. Stroll through the multi-tiered backyard featuring native red-rock ledges and perennial gardens. Venture over to the cabin to find a quiet space to read, meditate or roll out the yoga mats on the cabin deck. The living/dining room The large living room looks out on the flower gardens. On the opposite end of the room is the dining table with seating for 4 and the option to expand if needed. While we don’t provide a TV, there is high speed wifi so you can stream on your own devices. The bathroom The bathroom has a shower with lots of hot water produced with an energy-efficient heatpump hot water heater (also powered by the solar panels). There’s also a washer and dryer exclusively for your use. Environmentally-friendly, unscented detergent is provided so you can conveniently keep your wardrobe clean on this leg of your trip! The patio and yard Directly out your door amidst the flowers and stone wall you’ll find an outdoor dining table for your exclusive use. If you’re feeling like harvesting your own breakfast, there are raspberries, blueberries, gooseberries, currants and peaches available to pick in season, as well as an expansive herb garden. Your host would be happy to give you a tour and a mini-lesson on what’s available and their culinary uses. Another favorite area is the hanging-chairs under the giant oak. The whole yard is available for your use, though areas other than the table are shared with the hosts. Our space isn't fancy or large, but it's important to us that it's extremely comfortable and meets the needs of our guests - whether they are old friends or people we've just met. Our 2 BR/ 1 BA apartment in the vibrant South End is close to everything, yet located in a quiet neighborhood. 1 off street parking spot. Just a 10 minute walk to the lake, bike path, breweries, restaurants and shopping. Activities during the day, restful sleep in a tastefully furnished, clean apartment. We added a new kitchen floor and tiled bathtub walls recently and are proud of our 4.88 star rating. The space The apartment you are staying in is on the second floor of an original duplex. While we added on to the back and live in the new addition, we also have bedrooms in our unit that is directly below your apartment. Since the home was built in the 50's it is far from noise proof and we encourage all guests to keep the noise level at a reasonable level during the day and "indoor voices" (like in preschool :) during quiet time between 10 pm -7 am for everyone's enjoyment and restful sleep. We have also recently added a custom-built maple desk in the front entryway, which provides a separate, sunlit workspace for two. The house is all one level and is family-friendly. It is equipped with a smart tv, access to Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Disney, and high-speed internet and Sonos sound system. The kitchen and laundry area are well equipped and will ensure a very comfortable stay. Beautiful views just steps away from our homey studio apartment in our walkout basement that is within an hour of four ski resorts, just minutes from the UVM Campus, BTV airport, shopping, many breweries, restaurants, golf courses, Lake Champlain and the city of Burlington. An hour and a half from Montreal. Also minutes from the UVM medical center, Gutterson Fieldhouse, and Patrick Gym. Also walking trails and pickleball nearby. Unit is approx. 800 sq ft *Sunset picture is at the top of our rd. The space This unit has its own private entrance. The newly renovated bathroom has a beautiful new shower, that due to drainage and gravity is a little tall. We do have a step provided just outside of the shower. Please watch your step though. There also is a decorative curtain in the bathroom- hiding our hot water tank. The studio is in the walkout basement of our townhouse. We have an end unit. Other things to note Our guests will only have one parking space available for their use. Street parking is available during summer months for additional parking. No pets. Must be 25 yo to book our studio. Insect precautions: With the usual rainfall and humidity found in Vermont, as well as our unit being in a walkout basement critters such as an occasional spider, beetle or cricket may find its way into the unit. The rest of the place - living room, dining area, kitchen, bathrooms and the study are all yours. Since I live here full time I move some items to minimize the space but I don't completely remove all personal items. They'll still be room for anything you need but the place is lived in (i.e. coats in the coat closet, toiletries in the bathroom closet, etc.).
