The space All of the amenities of your home! Great Room: Quickly upon entering The Sanctuary, you will find yourself in the great room. Here, gather with friends & family to enjoy the priceless lake views, watch TV or play some board games. On a chilly night, cozy up by the electric fireplace. The Great Room, bottom living room and all 6 bedrooms have smart TVs and/or Roku and guests are able to login to their personal accounts to access streaming content. Master Suite Bedroom (top floor): Windows overlook the lake to capture sunsets and the master bath includes a Jacuzzi tub, double shower, double sink and walk through closet. Bathroom essentials on hand for you to use just in case you forgot something. Main Floor Bedrooms: Lakeside with queen bed, closet, armoire, & TV. South Room with queen bed, closet, dresser & tv. Bunker's Bay with bunk bed (full size bottom, twin top) with pull out storage under bed & tv. Lower Level Bedrooms: Main Suite with a King and Queen bed, dressers, tv, & sliding door to outside. Parlor Room with Queen bed, dresser, tv, door to lower deck/hot tub. Living Room includes a queen pull out sofa. Lower Level Living Room & Dining Area: There is a second living room space on the lower level of the home equipped with comfortable couches & chair, smart TV and a new retro arcade game! Enjoy 12 different games in one or two player versions! There is also a dining table for additional eating space. Kitchens: The full kitchen on main floor includes stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, & kitchen items. Dining area is attached. There is a kitchenette on bottom floor which includes, refrigerator, stove, sink, microwave & kitchen items. Dining area also attached. Throw dinner in the crock pot & set it and forget it while you go on a boat tour for the day, or fire up the pizza oven after exploring Historic Seneca Falls. Coffee bar is stocked. Coffee and tea are provided. Basic kitchen necessities such as salt, pepper, some spices, and utensils are available for guests’ convenience. Outside cooking: A grill on the upper deck allows you to catch the sunset while cooking. Propane provided. There's nothing better than the smell of lake air and BBQ! Bathrooms: On the main floor there is a full bath with shower and tub and a half bath. A full bath with a Jacuzzi tub is located on the 3rd floor attached to the master bedroom. A 3rd full bath (with shower) is located on the bottom floor. Laundry: Guests may use washer and dryer on lower level. Laundry detergent provided. Boat House: Next to the lake, you will find our boat house. Inside, lawn games such as corn hole & badminton, and water floats can be found. There is also a large couch if you need to take a quick siesta! Next to the boat house is where you will find 2 8-ft kayaks, a canoe & lifejackets. Dock: The dock leads you right into the water, where you can catch some fish, take in the sunset, or dip in the water. Please note, the dock is not permanent, and not capable of tying up large watercraft. There is a mooring point where you can anchor up your boat. Please reach out for more details! There is plenty of space to enjoy! Even with 14 guests, you will find private space. Please note that there is the occasional possibility that swimming will be restricted due to the presence of algae in the lake. We will do our best to monitor the status of the lake water and notify guests of any changes. The Fingerlakes Railway runs along the Lake. 1 to 2 times daily for app. 2 minutes a train will go by the house. Children should always be supervised. During your stay, feel free to use our kayaks, canoe, and oars—they’re ready and waiting by the water. Life jackets are provided, but if you’re traveling with little ones, we recommend bringing child-sized safety gear tailored to their size for peace of mind. 🧭 Boating Note: There’s a mooring point off the dock for anchoring boats. If you're planning to bring a jet ski, boat, or other watercraft, just let us know in advance and we’ll guide you through the details. 🌊 Swimming & Lake Conditions We want you to enjoy the lake as much as possible! However, please know that swimming may be limited at times due to naturally occurring algae blooms. We keep an eye on water conditions and will always let you know if anything changes during your stay. 🐞 Nature & The Outdoors We professionally treat the property to help keep pests at bay, but you may still see the occasional gnat, mosquito, or tiny bug—part of the charm of lakeside living. Bug spray is a great idea, especially in the evenings. 🔥 Lakeside Fire Pit There’s nothing like winding down your day with a cozy fire by the lake. We’ll have your first night’s supply of firewood ready when you arrive, and more is available upon request for a small fee. Don’t forget the s’mores! 🛁 Relax in the Hot Tub Our hot tub on the lower deck is the perfect place to soak, unwind, and take in the view. Whether it's under the stars or with your morning coffee, it’s a guest favorite for a reason. Please review the hot tub guidelines before use. 🌿 Outdoor Living & Amenities Stroll the lakeside walking path or stretch out on a blanket with a good book. Lawn chairs are available both on the deck and by the water. Our lakeside shed is stocked with comfy seating—including a sectional sofa with lake views—as well as outdoor games, floats, and more. 🗓️ Weekly Services Lawn care takes place on Thursdays during the spring and summer. Trash is collected every Thursday morning.

Imagine setting the coffee maker to finish just before sunrise; as the first rays break across the horizon and touch the water, your stress simply melts away. Whether you're sipping coffee on the deck or planning a day of adventure, our home is designed for total relaxation. The Lake & Private Dock: Just a short walk down the driveway and across the road (NY-89), you’ll find your private lake access. Sixteen steps lead you down to the water. The Private Dock: We assess lake conditions throughout May to determine when the dock can safely be installed. This usually occurs around Memorial Day and remains through Labor Day, weather permitting. *If conditions don’t allow the dock to be out by Memorial Day, you still have full access to the lakefront launch area, a perfect spot to sit, soak up the sun, or cast a fishing line. Safety First: Like many lake homes in this area, our lake access and dock are across the road from the house. Please be mindful of traffic and ensure children are accompanied by an adult when crossing. Boater’s Note: The northern part of Cayuga is beautifully shallow. If you’re bringing a boat, please check the depth charts regarding your boat’s draft. For easy loading, the Cayuga State Park boat launch is just 1.5 miles away. The mansion’s original owner, Amelia Gould Swaby, was a close personal friend of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, the pioneering women’s rights activist who helped shape history. Stanton, who authored many of Susan B. Anthony’s speeches, played a key role in bringing the first Women’s Rights Convention to Seneca Falls. Perfect for swimming, boating, relaxing and enjoying the serene natural setting, water sports, area trails, hiking, waterfalls and more. A remote spot, perfect for quiet getaways, also within a few miles of popular wineries, breweries and restaurants. The beauty of the Finger Lakes is unparalleled any time of year. Water and winter sport abound in this area. The space This gorgeous upscale lakeside retreat is perfect for getaways during every season. Gorgeous sunsets and breathtaking lake views top this 5 bedroom lake home with all the luxuries of home. Just minutes from the New York State Thruway, the house sleeps 12 or more and is situated at the north end of Cayuga lake on a private drive off West Lake Road, right on the wine trail and close to many area attractions, wineries, breweries, restaurants, and more. Ideal for multiple families, this home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two fireplaces, three floors, two kitchens and many areas to rest and relax indoors and out on the wrap-around porch, moon porch or beach. Offering heat and air conditioning, there is one bedroom on the first floor for those who might struggle with stairs. The fully-furnished kitchen has all the utensils, pots and pans and appliances for you to cook large meals or small and the dining has a large table to accommodate large parties. A convenient washer/dryer is available on the first floor, just off the double garage. Guest access We offer contactless access via a simple front-door code. Other things to note The house is located on a private lot with beach and boating access. Our kids love to swim off the dock, enjoy our paddle boards and pedal boat, canoe and other water sports on the lake. There are a number of marinas on the lake that rent powerboats for which we have a hoist. The hoist will support boats up to 2,000 lbs. The house is also located directly on the Cayuga Wine Trail near one of our favorites Knapp Winery, and conveniently located near Seneca Falls and Geneva, grocers, restaurants, wineries, breweries, the Waterloo Outlet Mall and more! Towards the south end of the lake sits Ithaca College and the Corning Museum of glass, as well as many gorgeous areas for hiking, swimming and experiencing amazing waterfalls.

The lake frontage you will enjoy in several ways starting with the incredible views from being right on Lake Cayuga. My favorite are the sunrises as we look almost directly east. But, sunsets with the clouds and the reflection off the water are also awesome, plus the upper decks get comfortable afternoon shade. Perhaps enjoy a refreshing dip all summer long off your dock. We provide kayaks, paddles, lifejackets, and fishing poles. You might want to take a moment and enjoy a few casts with a chance to catch a big one. Or maybe bring your boat (or rent one) and take your friends out and enjoy some water skiing, it’s a true all sports lake after all. There’s even a fire pit in the yard or upper deck for bonfires on cold evenings. My wife loves sitting on the deck with friends and playing cards while I grill and everyone gets to take in the feels and some amazing local wines. Speaking of wines, there are over 20+ wineries within 20 minutes of the house, and 100+ within an hr. Plus, there’s breweries, distilleries, dispensaries, and even a cheese farm nearby and all this is open all year round. Not to mention the small-town, Seneca Falls, famous for being the backdrop to the Hollywood classic “It’s A Wonderful Life” is just a few minutes’ drive away. It has over 15 bars and restaurants plus numerous shops, it’s a great outing while you are here. Or if you want other small-town options, there are several small towns nearby that are all awesome in their own right: Geneva, Auburn, Watkins Glen, Ithaca just to name a few. If gabling is your thing, there are also a few casinos nearby. The del Largo Resort & Casino is 12 minutes away, has a full-service casino: all the table games, slots, sportsbook, spa, bars, nightclub, and music hall featuring great performers with household names. If you want something a little smaller, we are walking distance to Lakeside Entertainment (slots only). On the other side of things, there are sooo many options to enjoy the outdoors besides the lake. We are just a few houses down from the state park which has a boat launch, sandy beach, & awesome pirate ship playground for the kids. We are a 3 min drive to the Seneca Falls Country Club with renown golf and amazing lake views and it's open to the public. Want world class waterfalls and hiking, look no further than the south ends of the lake. Watkins Glen and Taughannock Falls (largest waterfall this side of the Mississippi) are incredible to see, hike and even swim. Plus, Finger Lakes National Forest about 30 min south has more hiking than anyone could do on a weekend. Back at the cottages: House: Once you step inside the house you will notice the entire east side is a sliding glass door bringing in tons of natural light illuminating the complete open layout and showing off the lake views all day every day. Honestly, it’s why we bought the house. And, with several areas to sit, relax, mingle, cook, eat, play cards, whatever you fancy, it’s a great spot to enjoy some time away from home. The new kitchen with quartz counter has an island for entertaining, full oven, full fridge, and even a wine and coffee station. This open room leads right to the upper deck and the views continue. Back inside, there is an updated full bath with stand-up shower. The sleeping arrangement in the house consists of 3 private bedrooms each with one bed (queen, double, double), nightstands, luggage rack, mirror, hangers, and windows. Plus, back in the great room the couch pulls out to a queen bed too. We even have a pack and play for a little one. The majority of the house was just rebuilt 5 years ago so it doesn’t feel like an old cottage, it feels like a new home with all the amenities like air that come with it. Cottage: We've been told this is the cutest renovate single wide trailer ever. And, yes it's small but mighty and provides a huge overflow of amenities. Inside the cottage, there is an updated kitchen with full fridge, sink, oven, and stove and coffee maker…. There is a nice cozy living area with a new queen size pull out convertible couch. Plus, plenty of board games and cards for rainy days. This is open and adjacent to the dining area and kitchen so everyone can enjoy each other’s company and spend some good quality time together. The bathroom has been completely remodeled and is clean and bright with full stand-up shower. In the back are 2 separate and private bedrooms with doors that close. One has a new queen bed. The other has double sized bunk beds. All that being said, this is a small cottage from the 60's. It’s well lived in and well-loved but updated with many convenient modern amenities. The window unit and fans keep it cool all summer and the full-sized forced air furnace makes it a nice toasty spot in the winter too. And while technically it’s a manufactured home, with the yard, deck, dock, and updates it feels more like a warm cottage and home away from home to us. My favorite place to sleep on the whole estate is actually in the end room of the cottage with the window open. It’s the closet bedroom to Cayuga Lake and you can fall asleep to the tranquil waves lapping against the shore. Outside, there is also a nice deck right outside the door of both of the cottages with several sitting areas and a grill so you can relax in a variety of ways. They each offer perfect birds eye views of Cayuga Lake looking east. And both offer a lower deck right before you get to the dock down by the water which is a great spot for coffees or afternoon cocktails:) Or take the steps down and cool off in the pristine waters of the lake. There's also a bonfire pit for those cold evenings again, overlooking Cayuga. Just bring yourself and your clothes and enjoy...We provide all the essentials. We have cork screws, bottle openers, pots, pans, grills with propane, and even coffee. Plus, we have basic toiletries too: Towels, TP, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap & hairdryer are all provided. We provide clean sheets, blankets and pillows. There's even smart tv so you can login to your favorite streaming service to watch a movie or a big game in both cottages. We tried to think of everything, and are always trying to improve for our guests. This beautiful vacation spot consists of 3 houses on the property with 110' of waterfront on Cayuga Lake and a total 4,708 sq. ft. of space. The homes just underwent a full renovation which includes updated kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture. The homes can sleep 24+ in beds. There is a 75' dock with a sitting area at the end. The water is quite clear and not too deep so it stays relatively warm, great for swimming. The space Main House: The Main House which has 4 bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms is broken up into two spaces. The large space has the main common area which consists of a central kitchen overlooking the lake with granite countertops and all the amenities, an attached dining room that opens into the lake-facing living room with large glass windows overlooking the water, and a TV. There is a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a sitting area, tv, and full bath overlooking the water, there is also a separate wing with two bedrooms one of which has two custom-made adult-size bunk beds in it and the second has a full bed. Also in the middle room, there is a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and a twin on the top. Sharing the same entrance to this house is a one-bedroom apartment. This one-bedroom has a full bathroom accessible only through the large bedroom, a connected kitchen, and a living room which opens into a spacious screened-in porch overlooking the water. Washer & Dryer, Tvs and A/C in most bedrooms and common areas. Guest House: The Guest House which has 3 bedrooms and 1 ½ bathrooms consists of a kitchen which is on one side of a very large room making up the living room and dining room as well. Some joys and challenges of living on Cayuga Lake—you maybe have wildlife enter the yard which includes geese, ducks, deer and other small animals (and everything they bring with them). We do our best to have the yard and ramp free and clear of debris that may wash ashore in advance of your stay, however you may experience this during your stay at our home. In the room under the porch, there are games guests may use in the yard, including cornhole and croquet. We also provide a folding table and chairs for outdoor eating. There are 4 outdoor security cameras covering front and rear entrances to the house, the garage, and the back yard. Spacious 4BR Lake House in Wine Country-Gorgeous Views, Hot Tub, Smart TVs, WIFI 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, 2580 square feet, Jacuzzi, Boat Lift, etc. The space The main level features an open floor plan with windows galore, providing lake views from every inch of the huge living area, dining area and kitchen. A full bathroom and one of the four bedrooms (w/ queen-sized bed) round out the main level. Brand new tile flooring installed April of 2019. The country kitchen is filled with natural light from its 2 skylights and windows overlooking Cayuga Lake from 3 directions. You can prepare meals while watching your kids and/or significant other catch fish from the dock or play in the yard near the water. And there is loads of counter space, including a large island/breakfast bar. The dining area features a rustic 10-foot long dining room table with seating for 12, handmade by a skilled local craftsman, and overlooks the lake through wall-to-wall windows. The living area features a 55” flat screen Smart TV with Roku, including 70 HD channels of Time Warner Cable and embedded Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu, Spotify, Pandora, etc., as well as a Blu Ray player and 2 full-length couches (one of which is a queen size memory foam sleeper sofa). Upstairs you’ll find 3 more bedrooms and another full bathroom. Two of the upstairs bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen) face the lake, allowing you to wake up to our beautiful Cayuga Lake sunrises. The 3rd upstairs bedroom is the “Bunk Room”, and is perfect for kids of all ages, but can also accommodate adults/couples as well on a full mattress 1 sets of bunk beds twin/full and another Twin bed. All the upstairs bedrooms have 32” flat screen Smart TVs and Blu Ray players, and the Bunk Room also features a Twin Memory Foam Sleeper Sofa (feel free to bring your kids’ game console and plug it in). The screened-in Three Season Room overlooking the lake is accessible from the kitchen or back yard and is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of local wine with your friends at night or when the weather isn’t perfect. Walk out the back door of the Three Season Room onto a path leading straight out onto an elevated deck that sits atop our boathouse adjacent to the lake. The trees above this deck provide a natural canopy. Or take a left onto the main deck and fire up the grill or take a dip in the 8-person Jacuzzi (4 adults only please) Head down the stairs in the back yard to the lakeside lawn and cook up some S’mores in the fire pit with the whole family. Walk out the dock over the water to a 20’ x 8’ fishing/lounging platform with Adirondack chairs, etc. Go for a swim, go fishing or take a ride on one of our 2 kayaks. If you have your own boat, we also have a 4500lb boat lift (ask us about availability). You’re also in the heart of wine country (not to mention breweries and distilleries which are cropping up all over as well) and not far from beautiful waterfalls (including the tallest in NY State - Taughannock Falls). Historic downtown Seneca Falls is just 8 miles away and was the inspiration for “Bedford Falls” in Frank Capra’s “It’s a Wonderful Life”, starring Jimmy Stewart. Del Lago Casino is just 14 miles away in Tyre, NY, adding to the already robust local attractions. Waterloo Premium Outlets is only 17 miles away. Seneca Falls Country Club is 5 miles away. Perfect rental for Parent’s or Graduation weeks at local colleges: NY Chiropractic College - 6 miles, Hobart and William Smith College -16 miles, Cornell University - 35 miles, Ithaca College - 36 miles. I grew up in the Binghamton NY area, before attended RIT for college, and then settling down in Rochester, where I now live with my wife and teenage son. I've lived in upstate NY my whole life and I love the Finger Lakes, and Cayuga Lake in particular. Growing up, my best friend's parents had a boat on Cayuga, and they'd take me out on their boat all the time (and they still do!). What some people may not know about Cayuga Lake (as opposed to Seneca) is that it has almost 10 wineries that are accessible by boat. If you have your own boat (or if you rent one from one of the nearby marinas), there is simply no better way to do a wine tour. And the fishing on Cayuga is incredible too. I looked at a lot of lakefront homes on Cayuga and fell in love with this one as soon as I saw it. The rooms are huge and the views are incredible from all over the house. The Three Season Room is awesome and is the perfect balance of indoors/outdoors. I want to make the house a dream getaway for everyone. A lot of updates are being done before the first renters arrive (new Jacuzzi install, new dock & lift, new furniture, etc.) and I plan to do more updates in the future in between seasons. I'll be asking all renters for suggestions and plan to incorporate these suggestions wherever possible. Bathrooms are equipped with plush towels and body wash/shampoo/conditioner. All linens are washed in hypoallergenic soap with no dyes or fragrances. Entrance to AURA is via a unique 4 digit code (that you will be given shortly before your stay) which is deleted after each guest stay. Only registered guests may stay at AURA. This policy is in place to respect our neighbors as well as to ensure large parties do not cause damage to this historic building. This property is nonsmoking and the policy will be strictly enforced. There is an onsite manager in the basement apartment so please be courteous. Noise curfew is at 9 pm outdoors and 10 pm inside and neighbors will ensure that this is enforced! **Please note that due to recent problems with excessive noise, a charge will be levied if neighbors complain and police are called. You are welcome to celebrate and enjoy your stay but please be respectful to our neighbors. Please note that this is an 1800's historic building. Although it has been renovated and updated, many original features remain. We respectfully request that you remove your shoes upon entering (a bench and shoe pans are located in the hallway for your use).
