If you are looking for a nice place to grill up a tri tip to enjoy with a spicy zinfandel…we've got you covered with a propane BBQ under a nice shaded pergola...or keep it classic and go with the charcoal Weber (our preference!). Other kitchen amenities include two large drip coffee makers and reverse osmosis drinking water in both kitchens (yes, there is a guest quarter's kitchen). Bedrooms include a huge master bedroom with a comfy king bed, TV & full bath with soaker tub and separate shower. For the little ones we keep a Pack and Play Travel Crib with sheets in the master closet. There are three guest bedrooms; one with a king bed and a twin size window seat cushion that sleeps one child; One has a queen bed, and one guest bedroom has bunk beds for kids. The second family room also has a pull out queen sofa for extra sleeping space if needed. In addition, attached is a complete recreation studio area with king murphy bed, sectional sofa and full kitchen, bar, large tv and lounging area….perfect for watching movies. Also a great separate quarters when staying with more than one family or couple. There are three full baths and 1 half bath. Our large inviting family room looks out onto the deck and further out towards the west (sunsets!) with a large flat screen TV, cozy wood burning fireplace and ample seating to gather adjacent the kitchen and dining area. A full second living room/family area (behind pocket doors) is perfect for reading and / or a bit more privacy, and also contains a queen sleeper sofa as noted above. We have a large laundry room with washing machine, dryer, sink, upright apparel steamer and iron/ironing board. Our HUGE 40 foot private swimming pool is surrounded by lush vegetation and a big, multi-level sun deck with reclining chaise lounge chairs (Heated beginning May through October and in the off season for an additional fee). The separate spa sits perched above the pool and is heated year round. Other fun activities to enjoy on our 5 acre property include a basketball hoop, horseshoes, Santa Maria wood burning barbecue, outdoor picnic tables, lounge chairs, umbrella covered patio tables and chairs, gas fire pit, various parks and gardens… and of course those views! The full bath on the first floor can be used for this room. In the Bird House unit: There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds and ceiling fans facing west and one also has north views. They share a full kitchen as well as a bathroom with a single vanity and large walk-in shower. LIVING & ENTERTAINING (Interior) In the Main Home: Walk through the front door and be immediately charmed by a beautiful new fireplace with wood burning insert in the bright and spacious, wood-beamed living room with 2 side chairs and a beautiful sofa. A game table along with plenty of games are available for hours of enjoyment. The home features a beautifully remodeled white and black kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances (LG French door fridge with freezer below, GE Café electric stove top with 5 burners, LG microwave/oven and KitchenAid dishwasher), beautiful black soapstone countertops and a deep stainless steel sink. It’s stocked with all the cooking utensils, small appliances (wafflemaker, blender, Crock pot and mini pizzamaker) and staple spices. And, of course, 2 coffeemakers, a Cuisinart 10-cup grinder/drip and a single cup Keurig. Next to the kitchen is a great dining room with a huge farm table that comfortably seats 12. The dining room also has 2 stools that belly up the kitchen area. Perfect to sit and entertain the cooks. The dining room also has access to the front patio BBQ area and gazebo. The picture windows face west and display the most beautiful sunsets over the rolling, vine-covered hills. This is the perfect spot to break bread with your most cherished family and friends. Views also abound from the den/sunroom area located off the living room and dining room. The room features a bar, a sleep sofa and two side chairs making this the perfect area for some great conversation, watching the glorious sunsets or watching your favorite shows on the large SmartTV loaded with Prime, Netflix, Disney, HBO, Hulu and the basic Dish cable package. On the east side of the house is a great conversation area with 4 Adirondack chairs surrounding the firepit. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine or after dinner drink. But, of course, the views from just about anywhere on this property are breathtaking. Ready for a dip? Take a refreshing dip in the small, heated pool facing east on the built-out deck.
