There is a paddleboard, tandem Kayak, life jackets shared with other guests available to enjoy at your own risk. 2nd fire pit area is spectacular with 2 huge cedar deck with chairs, picnic table and umbrella and has breathtaking views:) watch the fish jump and make a cast to try your luck. There is paths down to the water where you can set up anywhere you’d like and enjoy:) Our property is very private and relaxing. Please note the front property is shared with other guests and ourselves. The Robin's Nest Cabin is close to a sandy public beach, golf course, boat launch and marina (all 5 min away.) Hiking and biking trails are nearby. A trail to a spectacular waterfall is right on the property. A green space in front of the cabin for badminton, outdoor games and a camp fire. Relax in a custom-built , timber-framed cabin tucked on the edge of a forest. Enjoy peace and tranquility on a historic estate in a community graced with natural beauty and lots of artistic folks. This newly renovated little log cabin is a slice of paradise. Rustic cabin experience with modern finishes. Plenty of outdoor space with endless views of the lake and a beach private to the property. Relax and enjoy the sunset every night. Have a cozy fire and wait for the stars to light up the sky. The space -The rooms are a bit small but they are cozy! There are no dressers, but they each have hangers and luggage racks. -There are only 3 seats in the living room, although 4 stools for the kitchen, two can be found in the closet. -The tv has no cable, just Netflix and Disney, but you may add your accounts with the wifi if you have other streaming sources. -The wifi works the best in the living room and out front by fire pit area. It seems to be more difficult through the log walls. Sorry for any inconvenience. -We are on water intake from the lake which is run through a pressurized pump system with extreme filtration. The water is completely safe and clean to drink. The taps make sputter while the air works its way through the system. It occasionally happens when you are in the shower, sorry for this inconvenience, but that is part of being out in the country! If you experience this, simply step out of the water as it may cool down, and give it a moment to pressurize. It will pass shortly. - The beach is private to this property, however the owners home is beside the cabin (although they may not be home during your stay) and there is a Trailer which may occasionally have renters as well. So be prepared that you may not be the only people at this beach! If you are not comfortable there are also two local beaches within 5-10 minutes from the property that are larger and have more space. -Please be aware that we are in the woods and although we have many controls in place, But we ask that you know that we cannot control every one of them. We are doing our best and have professional care and treatments in place. Thank you for your understanding. -We are committed to making your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible, please let us know of any problems or concerns so they may be addressed immediately to ensure a wonderful stay. Guest access The driveway down is a narrow dirt road, with no guard rails. It is only wide enough for one car, but with many pull outs, so please drive defensively and share the space. The driveway is not maintained publicly, therefore the speed limit is a strict 20km/hr. We know it feels slow but please help us preserve this road for ourselves and the neighbours. Please try to avoid spinning the tires. Thank you for your attention! The parking space is directly in front of the cabin, it will be noticeable when you arrive. Other things to note -Please note there is now one other rental on the property. It is adult only and no pets, but you may not be the only guests at the beach or on the property. For a fee you can block the dates of the RV to prevent other guests during your stay. Please contact owners directly for any further information! -Please note that wood fires will only be permitted while owners are home! We cannot guarantee we will be home during your stay! However there is a propane fire pit set up just outside your cabin for full use anytime. One tank is included in your stay, you may refill at the local Grey Creek Store if you would like more. -There is no guard rails on the property which sits 30 meters above the lake and has a fairly steep hill on the edge of the property. We cannot be responsible for any incidents. The Ainsworth Hot Springs pools (next door) are currently open to the public Wed. thru Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (last entry 6:00 p.m.) Mondays from 10:00 a.m, to 3:30 p.m. and closed completely Tuesdays. Apartment will sleep 2-8 persons, located on the top floor of Hosts house. Base rate is for 1-2 persons, plus $15.00/person/night. Pets are welcome @ $15.00/pet/night. NO smoking permitted indoors, but allowed on outdoor balcony. The space This is an apartment unit located on the top floor of this house that has it’s own separate entrance. The back staircase leads up to your private balcony and entrance door. Because of space constraints, the entrance door is located through the washroom area. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, right on the lake and nestled in the mountains. Located in a very quiet neighbourhood with a secluded beach within very short walking distance. It’s an 8 minute drive to the beautiful village of Kaslo and a 10 minute drive to Ainsworth Hot Springs. It's a 30 minute walk to the stunning ‘Fletcher Falls’; an amazing waterfall and quiet beach. There is also year round use of a hot tub which overlooks the stunning view of the lake and mountains. The space Get cozy in this cabin. This is a one of a kind open concept glass cabin perched on the cliff side. Stunning views of Kootenay Lake. There is electric lighting and an outdoor shower with a limited hot water supply. There is a double bed overlooking the lake. The kitchen is modest with a microwave, toaster, air-fryer and a small fridge. The cabin has water from April to October. There is no running water from November to March, so a water machine provided during these months. There is a large woodstove to keep you warm inside; an initial supply of logs will be provided during winter months & extra can be requested for a reasonable price, or you are welcome to bring your own :) There is a firepit for guest use on the property, as well as a deck area with seating and a stunning view of the lake. There is no toilet at the cabin but there is access to a full bathroom in the main house. Access is 24 hours and from the outside (turn right as you step onto the deck of the house & you will come to it.) It’s approximately 50m to the main house. Please It is a short walk down to the lake, where there is a beautiful, small, secluded beach that you are welcome to use. Just turn right at the end of the driveway and you will get to it. Due to its position on a cliff edge, the cabin is not suitable for young children. Guest access Guests can park anywhere as long as your vehicle isn’t blocking the roundabout or access to the garage attached to the main house :) Access to the cabin is along the right hand side of the house. Follow the path once you get to the back of the house. You will see the cabin ahead of you in daylight but will need a torch if it’s dark when you arrive. In winter months please come prepared with snow-boots as the path does not get shovelled. Please note that this path is not suitable for those with mobility issues or fragile physical health at any time of year. Other things to note We have a very friendly dog called Jimi who likes to be outside whenever possible so is often on a long leash at the front of the house. Hear the waves hit the shore from your window! Lake access is just a 3-5 minute walk. Balfour Golf Course and Ainsworth Hot Springs are nearby. Within 30 minutes of both Nelson and Kaslo, and just minutes from the ferry to the East Shore. Let "The Green Room" Lake View Suite be the backstage area for all of your Kootenay adventures! The space You will have the entire lower suite, with private entrance, of a top down duplex overlooking the lake. NEW DECK 2026! As of May of 2026 there is now a front deck exclusively for guest use! Take in the morning sun or have an evening beverage with the spectacular lake view! The suite has a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room. There is a two-piece bathroom as well as a laundry room where the shower is located. The kitchen is spacious, fully equipped and has a large dining table that doubles as a workspace with a great lake view. The space is suited for a maximum of four adults. While it’s not brand new, the space is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need—including a comfortable bed, kitchen, and full bathroom with shower. This trailer is ideal for a couple or a small family and is located on Site 23 at Soul’s Paradise Resort, with full hookups (septic, water, and power). The space The guesthouse is a separate home situated on the property above a garage. It is reached via one flight of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. Other things to note The guesthouse has a single bedroom with queen bed on the main floor and then a loft bedroom with a double bed above which is accessed via ladder. The loft would not be suitable for small children or elderly guests. There is now also a hideabed couch in the living room to accommodate overflow guests. Procter Point Lakefront Guesthouse

Queens Bay Hideaway is a rare private Kootenay Lakefront cottage as it is nestled at the end of a quiet no-thru road and does not share the property with any other residences. Located at the edges of the sheltered Queens Bay's warmest water on Kootenay Lake, it is only 30 minutes between Nelson and Kaslo just north of the Balfour Ferry Terminal. The space The inside of the cottage has plenty of natural wood accents and is bright with large windows looking out to the lake. The new large deck with patio table/chairs and a covered BBQ area is a fantastic place to enjoy the vast lake and Purcell Mountain views with a morning coffee. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge, stove/oven, microwave and bottled water-cooler. There is a full bathroom with a large shower. Everything that you will need in the cabin is supplied including all bedding, linens and towels TV, Blueray/DVD and WIFI. Spend your days at the beach with a swim dock and a campfire or head out and explore what the area has to offer. For day trips there are the heritage towns of Nelson and Kaslo with shops and restaurants that are unique to these towns and stunning views or take one of the worlds longest free ferry rides to the East Shore to find more one of a kind artisans and places to hike and explore. Ainsworth Hot Springs is a 20 minute drive and the beautiful Balfour Golf Course is an easy five minute walk from the cottage. There is also cave exploring, fishing charters, hiking, mountain biking and zip-lining close by. An easy stroll along the trail that follows the beach from the cottage takes you to Balfour where you will find two pubs, a diner, bakery, grocery store with a liquor outlet and the ferry. The rates shown are for the first four guests with an extra charge of $20 per guests per night after the first four. Everything you will need for a relaxing and carefree stay is provided as we have done with our other lakefront cabin in Kaslo (Kootenai Hideaway) since 2004. Beautiful 3 bed, 1bath custom log home situated on Crawford Creek. Walking or biking distance to restaurants, shops and the golf course. About 2 km from the beautiful sandy beaches of Crawford Bay. In winter, the Whitewater Ski hill is about 40 minute (+ scenic ferry ride) away. There is ample cross country skiing on the Kokanee Springs golf course and up Crawford Creek road as well as the spectacular Ainsworth Hot Springs just across the ferry(booking required).
