Get some sunshine and exercise on 9-hole and 18-hole courses. The space KITCHEN Bright, cheerful kitchen features beautiful granite counter tops with lots of counter space and cabinets. Easily accommodates two cooks! Fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, and a Keurig coffee maker. Kitchen has seating for 2 in the nook and 2 more at the bar stools. DINING ROOM Seats 4 at the table and 2 more at the bar stools. LANAI Our favorite space! Savor your breakfast at the table for 4, then read your Villages Daily Sun newspaper in the comfort of one of the two recliners, while enjoying the great view. The lanai has its own heat and air conditioning, separate from the house for any weather. All lanai windows are equipped with sliding glass doors, screens and blinds. PATIO Gas Weber grill and a table for 4 with comfortable chairs. LIVING ROOM Two very comfortable leather sofas and a cushy recliner. Cable TV includes a good selection of channels, or log into your own Netflix subscription. Secretary desk includes a printer and some paper. Extra printer ink is available at Best Buy. BEDROOMS Master bedroom suite has a king-size bed, private bathroom, walk-in closet, dresser and easy chair. Bedroom #2 has a queen-size bed, closet, dresser and easy chair. Bedroom #3 has a queen-size Murphy bed, or use it as a sitting room, as pictured, with TV and comfy easy-chairs. GARAGE Room for one car in addition to our golf cart. There is also an extra full-size refrigerator in the garage. Guest access I will text you an entry code for the front door before you arrive. You will find 2 gate passes on the kitchen counter, which can be waved at the electric sensor to open the various gates. You can still get in without the gate passes, but it requires getting out of the car and pushing a button. If you have a long arm, you may be able to reach the button without getting out. There are also garage door openers on the kitchen counter, or if you don’t see them there, look in the golf cart. Other things to note GAS GOLF CART Available subject to the following rules: 1. I will need a scan of the driver’s license of each licensed driver in the house to temporarily add you to our insurance policy, even if you won’t be driving. 2. Kathy will text you a code for the lockbox to access the keys to the golf cart. Remember to return the key to the lockbox before you leave. 3. Please fill the gas tank a day or two before you leave, as we do not have anyone available to refill the tank. 4. Driver must be 24 years old or older. Tips: Take a picture of where you park the cart so you won’t lose it. If you have an Apple AirTag for your luggage, drop it in the glove box. Do you need a 4-passenger golf cart? They are available at The Villages Golf Cars, but try to call a couple weeks ahead as they only have a few of their 4-passenger modeld. Call me for the link if you can't find it. GUEST ID I will need the names, birthdates and addresses of each guest one year of age or older in order to reserve your Guest IDs for you to pick up in the Villages. Guest IDs are ready for you to pickup 4 days after I order them. You will need your Guest ID to use the swimming pools, pickelball courts, tennis courts, golf courses, recreation centers and various other activities. You will probably need to show your driver’s license as well when using the Guest ID. There is no cost. Anyone under 19 with a Guest ID must be accompanied by someone 19 years or older with a Guest ID in order to use the amenities. Note: You cannot make your own tee time with only a Guest ID, but you can golf if a Resident makes your tee time for you. You do not need an ID to enjoy the restaurants or the town squares. POOLS Relax in over 70 swimming pools including Sports Pools, Family Pools and Adult Pools for those 30 and over. The closest adult pool is Captiva at 658 Pinellas Place, only 3 minutes away. Be sure to bring your guest pass and driver’s license, as you never know when you might be asked for it. GOLF You may golf with a Guest Pass, but only a Resident can make tee times. If you have golfing friends in The Villages, they can make your tee times, even if they don’t accompany you on the golf course. Championship Courses: The 18-hole Championship courses offer rentals of golf carts and golf clubs (call ahead!) These courses are attached to restaurants referred to as Country Clubs. Executive Golf Courses These wonderful 9-hole courses are for perfect for most people. Bring your own cart and clubs, as they are not available for rent here. Sarasota is the closest Executive course at only 1 mile away. We love it!
