There's space for everyone to relax here, and this updated home offers everything you could want: A semi-flat yard, firepit, beautiful mountain views, spacious decks, a hot tub, firepit, and so much more! As its name suggests, Paws A While is a great place for you and your four-legged family members to enjoy together.   The main level offers a great room with vaulted ceilings, a stacked stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, tongue-in-groove ceilings, a Smart HDTV with a premium dish network with 300 channels as well as streaming, and a charming bear mural painted on one wall. The dining table seats up to 10 with room for 4 more at the kitchen island. The kitchen is nicely updated with granite counters and stainless appliances including a gas stove. Downstairs is a second living area with a pool table and another Smart HDTV, providing a great space for kids of all ages to have fun.   With six bedrooms, there's plenty of great options for everyone in your group to get a perfect night's sleep. On the main level you'll find a King bedroom and Queen bedroom, and a shared bathroom. It offers mountain views, a brand new hot tub, a firepit, pool table, and a huge deck to relax on.  The fully equipped kitchen provides cooking essentials, granite counters, and stainless-steel appliances including a dishwasher and double door fridge & freezer with ice maker, plus the eat-in dining area at the table provides plenty of seating for your friends or family. Relax on the leather sectional sofa in the great room to watch your favorite show on the smart TV with streaming Spectrum services, or grab a mug of tea and read a book by the fireplace.  The primary bedroom offers a queen bed with smart TV with Spectrum as well as deck access, and is located on the main floor down the hall from the living room. The great room, accessed from a half-flight up from the foyer, has a stone woodburning fireplace with a large HDTV mounted above. A leather sectional sofa faces both the fireplace and the sliding doors to the deck overlooking the views, and a dining table for 8 is at the far end. Three bay windows overlook the front yard and allow lots of natural light into the house. There’s room for 5 in high chairs at the island, and the chefs in your group will enjoy preparing meals in the light and airy kitchen with granite counters & stainless appliances. There is a half bath off the kitchen as well.  Down the hall is a full bath with a tub & shower and double vanities. Across from that is a bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk bed, and at the end of the hall is a bedroom with a Queen bed. We're ready to host you! The space Divine Intervention is a gorgeously renovated ranch-style home with a fully finished basement. Upstairs offers a King master with ensuite bath, Queen bedroom, another full bath, a pyramid bunk(twin over queen) room with desk space for virtual learning or working remotely. Downstairs offers a second master King with ensuite bath (can access also from hallway), with bunk room, and game room as well. Open concept design for the living space upstairs with high ceilings, beautiful woodwork, and the view is clearly visible from inside to enjoy! Also, we have a pack n play and a clamp on high chair available for guest use. The roads in our neighborhood are maintained throughout the year. At no point can anyone park in the roadway. Our driveway will hold 4-5 cars comfortably. Guests are not allowed to park any portion of their car in the roadway, or they will be towed at the owner's expense. Lastly, at 4000' feet above sea level, the weather can get tricky in the colder months. If you are traveling here between November and March, please keep an eye on the weather and plan to have a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle. Alternatively, in the summer months it can get warm. We have portable AC units upstairs if it gets too hot. There is also a whole house fan in the attic. Please see posted directions on best way to operate. Typically, the temps dip down in the evening, so you can open all the windows and turn fans on to cool the house down.

Off the kitchen is the sunroom surrounded by windows overlooking the Appalachian Mountains. It's a perfect place for your morning coffee or to curl up with a book. It also provides access to the huge back deck (with propane grill) on one side; and the dedicated "dog park" on the other. A perfect place to let your four legged family members out to potty or to get some exercise. There is also a bedroom and full bath on this level. The upper level accesses the two over-sized 'master bedrooms'. Each bedroom has a private balcony and ample space for a pack n' play or air mattress if you are traveling with small children. The master bath is well equipped with heated tile floors, dual sinks, a stand up shower, jacuzzi tub, and a separate vanity. If you take the stairs to the lower level; you will access the second living area, two additional bedrooms, a full bath, and access to the garage. Come and enjoy our 4 bedroom Cabin which has been recently renovated. Just 15 minutes to Boone, Blowing Rock or Banner Elk. Bedrooms include TVs and electric fireplaces for a cozy stay. The cabin is located within a private quiet gated community called Crystal Mountain. You can enjoy walking around the community and the Blueridge Parkway and other trails are minutes away. The space Our cabin consists of an upstairs and downstairs unit with separate outside units. If two families are staying together each can have their own space with kitchen bedrooms and bathrooms with a large living area upstairs where everyone can gather to eat or watch a movie. There are no stairs on the inside of the house. All access to each floor is from the exterior. The upstairs portion of the house has 1 step into it and contains a king bedroom with bathroom attached. The upstairs also has a double queen with an attached bathroom. The downstairs contains a queen bedroom with a. attached bathroom and a twin bed with it's own bathroom. There is s flight of outside stairs on either side of the house that leads to a deck where you access this portion of the house.

The dining area is to one side of the great room, and near it is a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with black granite countertops. There is an oversized half bathroom which includes a laundry room with full sized washer & dryer as well.  Just off the main great room a large master suite with 32-inch flat panel cable TV, king-sized bed, and private bathroom with double sinks, bathtub and separate shower. The upper deck also offers extraordinary long-range mountain views as well as gas and charcoal grills. There's also a 2-car attached garage which is especially convenient during wintry weather and ski season.   The lower level contains a second living area with a 32-inch flat screen cable TV, separate seating area, pool table, a 2nd master suite with king-sized bed, cable TV, walk-in closet and private bath. There are also two additional bedrooms on this level -- a queen bedroom and an adjacent bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed plus a trundle, a large walk-in closet big enough for a port-a-crib and small dresser. Across the hall is a large separate bathroom with double sinks and a tub/shower. The space ACCOMMODATIONS: Windswept Vistas has three bedrooms plus one additional private sleeping area for your enjoyment. Main level: Master King Upper level: Master Queen, Master Queen Lower level: Queen Room, Queen Sleeper in Family Room  This open and spacious cabin is located just five minutes from Appalachian State University and historic downtown Boone; and less than fifteen miles from Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. With a relaxing view, cozy gas fireplace, central AC, LED lighting, large firepit area, hot tub, ping pong table, and with a second kitchen – It’s always a guest favorite.  Sitting atop beautiful Snaggy Mountain is Windswept Vistas – where each of the four sleeping areas has its own deck to enjoy the relaxing views. Throughout the home, Windswept Vistas offers a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. As you enter this cabin, you are drawn to the wonderful views through the many large windows, or the forty foot stacked stone fireplace that is the centerpiece of the open living area. The comfortable leather furniture is both stylish and conducive to relaxing in front of a warm fire for a family movie night; with a bentwood rocking chair for a soothing escape. There is a convenient washroom on this level as well, helping maintain privacy for those staying in the master bedroom.  Off to one side of the living area is the dining room, with a large table surrounded by windows to take in the random view of deer and wild turkey. Or step outside onto one of the six decks to a large outdoor dining area and gas grill with rockers for the “grill master” to relax in while keeping an eye on things. Adjoining the dining area is the large, modern kitchen with quality appliances and ample space. There are even some cookbooks available to help get you started, and extra seating at the counter.  Across the main level on the other side you will find the master bedroom, with cast-iron king bed and its own deck with log furniture and a relaxing chair swing. You’ll also find another king bedroom, a double twin room, a fully stocked kitchen with leathered granite counters, a separate dining room, and a cozy eat-in nook. We’ve even alphabetized the spices—and often leave a few adult beverages in the fridge just for you. The lower level has its own entrance (also connected internally), with a queen suite, a small private living area, and extra sleeping options: a bunk bed in the game room and a queen pull-out sofa with a 3-inch memory foam topper. Outside, unwind in the hot tub on the front porch, or settle in with a book and a cup of tea on the peaceful back porch. The fire pit, wrapped in string lights, is perfect for s’mores, stargazing, and cool mountain evenings. Cooking becomes enjoyable with a view from the kitchen window in this fully-equipped kitchen with a gas range/oven, stainless steel refrigerator, and brand new dishwasher to keep the full set of pots and pans clean for your use!   The spacious living room has a gas-log, two-story, stone fireplace. The entertainment center is built around a 55” smart TV with a high fidelity soundbar for movie night or watching the big game. Amazon FireTV sticks are connected to each TV in the house, so you can stream to those (with supported apps!) or bring your own devices for streaming - color coded remote controls even tell you which TV to connect to! The hot tub is outside on the porch, and the lower level features a family room with a pool table and second kitchen. The home is pet-friendly and guests must be 25 or older to book. Designed with oversized windows and glass doors, interior wood walls, high-vaulted wood ceilings, and an impressive double-sided wood-burning fireplace, the main level is a perfect gathering space for large families and groups of friends. Designed with both style and functionality in mind, the spacious, fully equipped kitchen features modern appliances, ample counter space, a large basin sink, and generous storage to accommodate all your cooking needs. The kitchen seamlessly flows into the dining area, which offers seating for up to 10 at the custom-made wood-and-resin river table and bench, with additional seating for 6 at the game table and 3 at the kitchen island.  The great room, dining area, and master bedroom open to the main-level deck, which features a gas grill, a dining table and chairs on the covered porch, a large hot tub, and additional seating around a fire table. The lower-level deck features additional seating and a screened-in play area with a ping-pong table.  The lower level, featuring a pool table, a smart HDTV, and a wine refrigerator, is a welcoming second living space designed for relaxation and entertainment. This level also includes a second oven, microwave, and two refrigerators, making it easy to enjoy snacks and drinks without heading upstairs or to prepare meals for large groups.  Cucumber Tree Lodge offers three well-appointed bedrooms and a loft, ensuring plenty of space and comfort for every guest. On the main level, you’ll find the King master suite with a private full bathroom and a large closet. The upper-level Loft features a King bed and Queen Futon, a foosball table, and a newly renovated private bathroom! The lower level has a second Master Suite with a King bed, a Twin trundle bed, and an ensuite bathroom, offering privacy and comfort. The bunk room is perfect for larger groups or kids with a Queen bed and both Twin-over-Full and Twin-over-Twin bunk beds. With its thoughtful layout and variety of sleeping arrangements, this home accommodates up to 16 guests with ease.  Additional amenities include smart HDTVs in three bedrooms and the main and lower living areas, all with access to Hulu Live, Netflix, ESPN+, and Amazon Prime, keeping guests entertained. The home also features a high-speed mesh Wi-Fi system, central heating and air conditioning, and washers and dryers on the main and lower levels for added convenience. Guests are welcome to bring up to two dogs for an additional fee, making this a pet-friendly retreat (food and water bowls provided).  The property provides ample parking with space for five (5) vehicles. There is no way to charge electric cars. The mountainous road is not long, but it is steep, curvy, and mostly one-lane, so 4WD and tire chains are absolutely necessary during winter and inclement weather. Without this, you will likely not be able to access or depart safely from the home.

A gas grill is located out on the upper deck for when cooking inside just won't do! A dishwasher makes clean up a breeze. The large kitchen table comfortably seats 8. The main level features both a bedroom with a Queen Sized Bed as well as a second bedroom with two Twin Sized Beds. Please ensure your vehicle is equipped properly for mountain driving in the snow. In warmer seasons please watch carefully for wildlife. We have foxes, deer, and even bears! Do not leave any food or trash outside the home. Do not leave food in your vehicles. Please drive carefully as we frequently see newborn deer crossing the roads in late spring / early summer. Please remember that we do get snow, rain, fog, and other occasional inconveniences that are out of our control here in the mountains. Winter weather can occur here from November through April. This property is accessed and maintained via a paved and gravel road and gravel parking area which may be icy or snowy during winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means four-wheel drive, good tires, and possibly snow chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for potentially hazardous road conditions. There will be no refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from weather conditions out of our control.
