Ten minutes away from Massanutten four seasons resort; 20 minutes from Luray Caverns; 20 minutes from Shenandoah National Park; within 30 minutes of JMU; 40 minutes from UVA; within 35 minutes of 8 golf courses. There are many wineries and breweries nearby as well. The space The house is situated on 4 1/2 acres and overlooks the river from atop a hill. There is a private driveway to drive to the river or a walk to. There are beautiful river views from inside the house as well as on the back deck. The hot tub overlooks the Shenandoah River. The home has spacious rooms. Each room is themed. The living room is decorated in Americana and touched from each of the three themed bedrooms. The master bedroom is a railroad theme to celebrate the historic N&W railroad line that runs nearby the home. The middle bedroom is decorated as a fishing room. The third remaining bedroom is decorated in a woodland theme. Each room having its own special touches. Guest access The front entrance to the house has a handicap ramp. The property also has a seperate driveway where guests can drive straight down to the river, making this an ideal place for handicap guests to enjoy as well. Able-bodied guests may choose to walk down the hill to access the river. There is a small floating dock that allows for fishing and easily getting in/out of kayaks and/or the pedal boat that is available for guest use. There is also a boat ramp on the property. Basement is NOT a part of the rental space. It’s currently unfinished and used for owner/cleaning storage. There’s also a locked cleaning closet in the laundry room. It’s full of cleaning chemicals and remains locked to ensure safety for any small children. Other things to note There is a historic railroad line that runs a train by the house. Times of the train vary. Trees buffer most of the sound of the passing train, especially when the leaves are full. The historic Shenandoah Depot is just a 5 minute drive from the house. Also, please note, you ARE at the river! There are bugs, there are bees, there are snakes. It’s part of nature. Please be aware, if doors are open, bugs can fly inside. We can’t control the bugs. 🤔

The space The upstairs two bedrooms have independent temperature control with their own AC and heat, so each guest can sleep with the temperature of their liking! Master bedroom has thermostat control of the house temperature. Please also note the stairway is steeper than normal and is not as ideal for elderly guest to stay upstairs. The fourth bed is the sleeper sofa in the living room. We have an additional memory foam mattress that can be put on the sofa bed for additional comfort if desired. All four beds in the house are all queen size. Guest access New to the property is a resort style shared (with one other smaller guesthouse if booked) 1,350 ft.² game room building, available for use 24/7 featuring ping pong, pool, foosball, air hockey, arcade, lounge area, snack corner (snacks and drinks are $.50), and the two additional full bathrooms. Also new is a shared but fully private hot tub/sauna building available 24/7 year round! In the game room we have a whiteboard for slotting your own time for whenever you wish to use it. Also Full access to two separate shared fire pit areas, and grilling porch with two grills, cornhole, tennis rackets, (courts just down the street). If you are feeling adventuresome, you might want to check out our Giro spaceball ride, (invented by NASA for space training) check it out in the listing photos! The living room is equipped with a deluxe model massage chair with all point massage including arms, feet, vibration, heat, led lights and built in speakers. Off of the kitchen is a laundry and dedicated work space area. We have also just added a pond area that we are continually working on to make better. By booking with us you agree to use the pond and property at you and the guests you bring with you at your own risk. Children should be supervised near the pond area, if you are unsure about something please ask. Other things to note We have recently upgraded our Wi-Fi to ultra high-speed Internet, with download speeds up 800-1,000 mbps for high-speed streaming. Arcade games are usually available to use anytime in the game room, if you wish, you may ask about the availability before booking, as the hunting game especially gets broken from time to time and needs replaced. Even though we request adult supervision for this game, it does tend to get broken at times so we cannot guarantee availability if that happens until we can get it replaced.

There is also 1 canoe 2 kayaks, life jackets, and paddles to use during your stay. Historic 1897 Romantic Couples Retreat

Come and enjoy this newly remodeled, quiet and centrally-located guest house in the heart of beautiful Shenandoah. About 15 minutes from Massanutten resort, and Shenandoah National Park. Walking distance to multiple restaurants including Italian and Mexican, Big Gem park, and Dollar General, and Fuel stations nearby. Outside you have access to common amenities including the game room building, hot tub and sauna building, two fire pit areas, a spaceball gyro ride, tennis rackets, and corn hole. The space The guest house is Two Queen suite bedrooms with a couch in the living area that has a fold out queen bed as well. There is an additional memory foam mattress toppers for the pullout bed that can make it more comfortable for adults. Due to the size of the Guesthouse as shown in the pictures, it is most comfortable for 2-4 Adults with the queen beds, however the queen sleeper sofa is a great available option for children. While the unit is not considered extra spacious, we do accommodate up to a maximum of six guests. The kitchenette allows for only basic cooking, with cooking essentials provided. There are two hot plates and a toaster oven, as well as a microwave and blender provided in the unit. There is a split bathroom in the guesthouse, and the two additional full bathrooms are located in the Game Room. If anything additional would be needed during your stay please let us know and we will be happy to get it for you if we can! Guest access New to the property is a resort style shared (with one other unit if booked) 1,350 ft.² game room building, available for use 24/7 featuring ping pong, pool, foosball, air hockey, arcade, lounge area, snack corner (snacks and drinks are $.50), and the two additional full bathrooms. Also new is a shared but fully private hot tub/sauna building available 24/7 year round! In the game room we have a whiteboard for slotting your own time for whenever you wish to use it. Also Full access to two separate shared fire pit areas, and grilling porch with two grills, cornhole, tennis rackets, (courts just down the street). If you are feeling adventuresome, you might want to check out our Giro spaceball ride, (invented by NASA for space training) check it out in the listing photos! We have also just added a pond area that we are continually working on to make better. By booking with us you agree to use the pond and property at you and the guests you bring with you at your own risk. Children should be supervised near the pond area, if you are unsure about something please ask. Other things to note We have recently upgraded our Wi-Fi to ultra high-speed Internet, with download speeds up 800-1,000 mbps for incredibly high-speed streaming! The driveway is 25 feet wide by 75 feet long, so campers and trailers can pull in without any problems. Arcade games are usually available to use anytime in the game room, if you wish, you may ask about the availability before booking, as the hunting game especially gets broken from time to time and needs replaced. Even though we request adult supervision for this game, it does tend to get broken at times so we cannot guarantee availability if that happens until we can get it replaced.

If you'd prefer to stay close, enjoy the mountain views with horses grazing in the back pasture. The space This is an 800 square foot simple, yet cozy, cabin that can accommodate up to 4 guests (or up to 6 if you choose to use the sleeper sofa). One bedroom contains a king bed and the other bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a full size sofa sleeper. There is one bathroom in the cabin as well as a living room and kitchen. Located in a quiet neighborhood, 10 minutes from the Shenandoah & George Washington National Parks, and 15 minutes from Massanutten 4 Season Resort (bike/ski/golf/swim). We’re minutes from town (Elkton) with a great craft brewery, shopping, a handful of restaurants, local park with tennis, volleyball, & basketball courts, and the Shenandoah River public boat landing. Harrisonburg/JMU is 30 min; Charlottesville/UVA is 1 hour. The space Our one level ranch was completely renovated in 2016. There are 2 King Bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master King has an adjoining bathroom. There is a large living room, kitchen, laundry room and sunroom. Relax on one of the comfortable couches to watch TV or play one of the board games available in the sunroom. Enjoy beautiful mountain views from many of the rooms. One of our favorite things to do is relax outside in the evening and read a book overlooking the mountains. There is outside furniture positioned in the back yard for your enjoyment during the summer months. Guest access The entire house, with exception the back room that is locked & used for storage. Other things to note Construction recently started across the cul-de-sac from us. Construction typically starts around 8 am and finishes by 3 or 4 pm weekdays. There is no construction over the weekend. Construction should be completed by February 2026. The home still has views of the mountains. The construction noise level is low (unlikely to be heard from inside our home).

Enjoy a relaxing stay at this intimate, modern space. Recently restored, this quaint studio apartment is about 2 hours from Washington, DC, located in The Depot in Shenandoah. Beautiful natural landscapes and historic treasures wait to be discovered in the beautiful surrounding Shenandoah Valley. Walking distance to Shenandoah River and centrally located between the two National Park entrances. Perfect for a Massanutten getaway and just a short distance away from Downtown Harrisonburg! The space This street-level suite offers granite counter tops, tile and carpet floors, luxurious queen bedding in a private and aesthetic environment. After passing through the common foyer area, you enter into a galley kitchen. Off to the left of the kitchen is the bathroom. Beyond the kitchen is the living space comprising of a pull-out sofa, queen-size sleigh bed, Roku smart TV, side table with lamp and dinette table with stools. Guest access The Depot is located on the old-town main street. You enter through an old storefront transformed into a shared foyer/entrance area. This area has 2 chairs and a sofa where you are welcome to enjoy your morning coffee and views. Both the main entry door and the studio apartment door have electronic keypad locks. You will receive the access codes the morning of your arrival.

Rivergreen is the perfect getaway for those who like camping, but wish for a more luxurious, comfortable place to stay. Water is provided from the new onsite well. Wi-fi and local channels. This cabin is now SOLAR powered with a fully automated (touch free) standby generator as back-up. Note-electric vehicles cannot be charged at this property! The space Come and experience the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains! This cabin is located 10 minutes from Massanutten Resort and 20 minutes to the Swift Run entrance of Shenandoah National Park. It is necessary to have front wheel drive or 4x4 in the winter to reach the cottage. The road to this cabin is not paved and is stone and dirt. Driving slow to reach the cottage is highly recommended. When there is snow on the ground, a 4x4 is necessary to reach the cottage. If you have a very low sitting vehicle, you may have issues getting to the cabin. If you have mobility issues, renting this property would not be recommended. Please note, this property is located on a working farm. While the cabin itself is fenced in, you are likely to wake up to cattle outside, along with Duke the Donkey. The cattle will not try to approach you or your vehicle. Duke does like to eat out of your hand-after he gets over his shyness! Additionally, this property is located in a town steeped in railroad history. Occasionally, you will hear trains. Please be sure to check out the train museum in the town of Shenandoah-just a short drive away. As mentioned, this cottage is solar powered, with a back-up generator. This system is fully automated and requires no interaction from our guests. From time to time, especially when it's dark outside, the generator will turn on to recharge the batteries. The cottage is small and cozy, perfect for a party of 2. The cabin will accommodate up to 4 guests, but can be very cozy. Sleeping accommodations consist of a Queen Bed and a full sized futon. Kitchen: Rivergreen has a small cooktop, mini-fridge, sink, coffee pot, cookware, dishware, soap and kitchen linens. Living/Sleeping Space: Queen bed, and a full futon. Pillows and sheets are provided. Bathroom: The bathroom has a stand up shower, sink and composting toilet. This is a water-less system. Please follow posted instructions. It is very important to note that a composting system is not like a "traditional" toilet with running water. Instructions are posted in the bathroom. PLEASE NOTE! Due to the small size of this cottage, steam from the shower can trigger a false carbon monoxide alarm. Additional Amenities: Gas grill, AC, wall heater, covered porch and private fire pit. Guest access You will have use of the entire cottage and outdoor areas. Once you book you will get a code to enter the cabin. Other things to note Our check-out time of 11:00 AM is firm, as our cleaning staff have multiple properties to get ready for the guests who are following your stay. Guest will be billed at $100.00 per hour for a late check-out beginning at 11:15 AM. We do realize that sometimes packing can be cumbersome, and time consuming, however we want our vacation rentals to be sparkling clean for our next vacationers. Enjoy the tranquil country setting and beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain and Massanutten Mountain views from the second story deck. Owners live adjacent to carriage house. The space Enjoy hiking in SNP, tubing the Shenandoah River, biking the country roads, vineyard hopping, brewery hopping, winter sports at nearby Massanutten Resort, or exploring local towns within the valley. End your day at the Nest watching the sunset over the Blue Ridge mountains. Bedroom: Queen bed with bed linens and pillows provided. Lady Jane Cottage is best suited for a solo traveler, but will accommodate 2 guests. Only 15 minutes away from Massanutten Resort and 20 minutes from Shenandoah National Park. Enjoy your coffee or tea in the screened in porch while relaxing in massaging chairs, or a glass of wine while watching the sunset. The space This tiny home is located right next to the original farmhouse (pictured) dating back to 1892. This home was originally owned by a direct descendant of President Zachary Taylor-12th President of the United States. The farmland that is surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains was originally deeded by the King of England in the late 1700's. The Lady Jane "Mansion" and Lady Jane Cottage are named after Linda Dovel who purchased the property, along with her husband, Paul Dovel II in 1975. This farmland was, at one time, the most successful cattle farm on the East Coast. On a much smaller scale, the farmland is still in use for agricultural farming and cattle farming. **Please note that the enclosed deck area is a 3 season room and will not be climate controlled during the winter months! Guest access This cottage is not shared with anyone. Other things to note Please note that because we do have two dogs (dachshunds) we do not allow pets in this cottage, as we live in the main farmhouse located right beside the cottage. This cottage is located right outside of a wedding venue. Please understand when weddings are taking place, music on Saturday evenings will play until no later than 10:30-11:00 PM. Feel free to double check with host prior to booking to inquire as to whether or not a wedding is scheduled during your preferred booking dates. This tiny home has a queen, pillowtop mattress. The tv gets local channels only received by a digital antenna. The total cottage space is 160 square feet. (Sleeping area and deck area included). This is a very small space, yet very comfortable! Due to the size of the space, there is a very small, on-demand water heater in the cabin that will provide 5 minutes of continuous hot water before needing to regenerate cold to hot. This property is a working farm and will have staff coming and going at any given time. **Please note that the enclosed deck area is a 3 season room and will not be climate controlled during the winter months!
