This private lake house has a beautiful sandy beach with lake views. The home offers 3 bedrooms (plus open kids bunk area with 2 single), 3.5 baths and comfortably sleeps 8 people. Enjoy endless walks on the beach, morning swims in the crystal clear fresh water of Lake Michigan, water sports (2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards), and nightly sunsets. The space Lake-side three level single family home on Lake Michigan located on Lower Shore Drive. The home is very cozy and has a relaxed lake vibe. The home has a large kitchen that is fully equipped for large family gatherings with easy access to the outdoor grilling area. There are two refrigerators, a double oven, bar seating, and easy access to the dining area and outside (lake-side) deck (which also has a dining table and sectional sofa for relaxation). The home has a gentle traversing path through the woods to a beautiful private beach. There is plenty of beach-side seating w/ umbrella, paddle boards, kayaks, and beach games (in the garage). There is a fire pit down at the beach with plenty of firewood! Feel free to use our sunscreen and beach towels, and the home is fully equipped with everything you'll need for your stay. There are two bedrooms and two full private bathrooms upstairs. The other guest bedroom is located downstairs, along with the kids sleeping area (which is open to the TV/Living area). There is a full bathroom in the basement that is shared. There is a 1/2 bath on the main level, just off the kitchen. The home has two sets of washer/dryers with detergent (one in the garage off the kitchen, and one located downstairs in Bedroom 3 in the lower level). As noted, our home is lake-side, perched up on a hill and is tucked in the trees and benefits from the amazing lake breeze. The home does not have central area, however all rooms have fans. Couples and small families find beauty, comfort, privacy and quiet at this modern home nestled within the Tunnel of Trees, just seven miles north of downtown Harbor Springs. “Aisling” – Irish for “dream or mirage” – offers majestic views of Lake Michigan from its spacious deck and from its generous coastline, ideal for playing in the sand, reading a book under the umbrella, or beginning a stroll along the beach. Guest access Turn off of Lower Shore dr. at the "LAKE EFFECT" sign and stay left all the way to the house. The lockbox is located to the right of the front door. Other things to note Two large bedrooms with private baths provide lots of personal space. The fully appointed kitchen, living room overlooking Lake Michigan, and spacious deck with lounging furniture, umbrella and grille invite couples’ gatherings and family time. A second-floor study overlooking Lake Michigan offers inspiration for writers, poets and those needing to get some work done while on holiday. There’s a treadmill for indoor exercise and a pull-down Murphy bed for another child or overnight guest. This classic 2 -bedroom 1 bath cabin has a woodstove, outdoor firepit, BBQ grill, and access to a private beach on Lake Mi. The space INDOORS •	Main entrance is the rear side door. •	Fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, microwave, coffee maker. Functioning range/oven allows for home cooked meals. •	Open dining and living room feature a fireplace with woodstove insert. •	Both bedrooms have Queen beds and are off the living room. •	Bathroom has a shower •	Loft has 2 sectional sofas and TV •	Screened in porch doors are locked with floor locks. Please make sure they are relocked when you leave. •	Weather screen on the porch can be raised or lowered based on the weather. Are you a lover of sunsets, beach walks and the beauty of northern Michigan? Situated directly on the beach of Little Traverse Bay our cozy, stylish cottage offers amazing views of Lake Michigan. Watching sunset from the beach around the campfire, on our deck or from inside the cottage by the fireplace, it is a nightly ritual not to be missed! Our cottage sits along the Tunnel of Trees and is only 10 minutes from charming Harbor Springs, 30 minutes to Petoskey and 45 minutes to Mackinaw. The space We purchased our beach cottage in 2015 and completely renovated the interior in 2016. The open floor plan allows you to relax and enjoy lake views from all rooms except the interior bathroom. There is lots of light and the original wood burning fireplace will keep you cozy on a cool evening. You may catch an eagle flying by or deer crossing the property. My husband built our beautiful lake side deck in 2022 and it is an extension of the living space with a couch, chairs and dinning table. In 2023 he added an outdoor pizza oven and built-in bbq for you to enjoy! Guest access Guests have access to the whole cottage with exception to a storage loft and owners closet. Other things to note We have a three night minimum for the fall season. We look forward to hosting you! Absolutely no pets, no smoking, and no parties or events. Please note our decks do not have railings and therefore may not be suitable for toddlers or young children. We appreciate you respecting our cottage as your own and hope you love it as much as we do! Please note our cottage sits on a bluff above the beach with 12 steps down to our lower beach deck. There are a few more steps down to the beach. It is also necessary to climb a few steps on both the front and back of the cottage to enter the house.

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons. The space We live 6 miles from the beautiful waterfront village of Harbor Springs and about 2 miles from Lake Michigan. Beaches, hiking/biking trails and ski slopes all nearby. The famous tunnel of trees will lead you to Cross Village and Sturgeon Bay. Harbor Springs and nearby Petoskey offer plenty of restaurants, brewpubs, art galleries and yoga of course. These activities will entice but really you will just want to sit on the deck with a glass of wine and watch birds. Just a note about the size of this cabin. It is 700 square feet,,,not really tiny. Also the 2nd bed is in a sleeping loft with a railing and a ladder access. Other things to note I want to be clear this has 1 bedroom and a sleeping loft so it can accommodate 4 people. also this cabin is 700 square feet with an open kitchen, dining, living room arrangement.

One thing we can not control is Mother Nature! However we have a generator, games, and books if she were to act up! Guest access The whole guest house. Other things to note We have owned the home since 1978 and have upgraded it so it has retained its mid-century charm but has sophisticated exterior pathways and lighting and has been recently painted so it’s fresh and clean. The guest house was designed by my mother in 2006 to match the mid-century modern look of all the original homes on Lower Shore Drive. Her vision was to have it look like a castle as she wanted her grandkids to think they were staying in a castle when they came to town. As a former artists, you will see the tv room / office dons scars of an art studio. Cork floors and paint splatters give it character! Please know - so much joy and love has filled the guest house between artist retreats and grand kids spending summers there. It’s truly a MAGICAL spot!

It’s the perfect place to unplug, unwind, and enjoy northern Michigan. Please note - due to recent heavy rainfall, portions of M-119 are temporarily closed. MDOT has completed work near our home, and local access to the apartment is now open. The space Our property includes the main home and a detached garage, with the guest apartment located above the garage. The apartment faces west, offering Lake Michigan views from the front windows and a private patio out back. Access is on the north side of the garage, up a flight of stairs to the living space.
