This is a very cute and comfy home that is located in a great location just a few blocks from downtown Oscoda, the beautiful Au Sable River, and incredible Lake Huron. It's decorated n a fun retro / vintage style and is very cozy. Includes new central air conditioning, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, streaming television, and a private bonfire ring outside! Family-friendly and dog-friendly! Great for walking to river, downtown, the beach, and Lake Huron! The space THE SPACE: The home is decorated in a fun and cozy vintage / retro style throughout. It has a lot of cute little quirks and personal touches. Guest access GUEST ACCESS: Guests have access to the entire house. Note that the basement is unfinished though and the only use that guests would have for the basement is for using the washer and dryer. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: All of the bedrooms are on the second floor. There are no bedrooms on the main floor.

Oscoda Hilltop Haven - Great Location near Beach!

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home. The space Air mattress available upon request 🙂 This is similar to a studio with a entrance room containing a small table to use as a work space and a comfortable rocking chair. Then entering the living room with a full kitchenette to give you every comfort of a full kitchen just a little smaller scale. This has a smart TV mounted on the wall with Wi-Fi in the house. It has an air conditioner that’s not in there in the winter months. There’s a couch that converts into a full size bed with all your fresh washed bedding beneath it when you pull it out. Then enter the small room with two handmade oak bunk beds and a small closet. Last room is a full bathroom with outdated tile😂 a new toilet and freshly re-lined ceramic old old school bathtub. There is a space saver over the toilet with freshly washed towels and hand towels. Under the kitchen sink are cleaning supplies and extra garbage bags. In the bunk bed room closet you’ll find a broom and dust pan. I keep the cleaning costs extremely low because I want to save you money. But with that liberty provided please leave the guest house in the condition you found it. When checking out please do the following All of your laundry and bedding please pull out and leave in a pile on the floor. Please do your dishes ( we will put them away after they dry if you didn’t have time to let them dry ) and put all trash in the green container outside by the shared fence. Please leave the last bag of garbage in the garbage can in the house so we can put dirty cleaning supplies inside of it ands well take care of that. Please leave the floor clear of sand, pine needles etc etc. clean up any spills or cooking messes. Lock the house, turn off the AC or heat ( unless it’s winter time then just turn it down to 55) turn off lights and television etc etc. Put the key in the lock box. There are also 3 baby gates available to be put up throughout the home for added safety. Please makes sure to take them down before leaving at the end of your trip. Guest access One street over is the large public beach along with a kid friendly park. The Oscoda Beach Park has a splash pad, skate park, and public restrooms. There are washer and dryer on site for guests to use. Please make sure to shake out any sand or dirty before putting belonging into washed. There are games in the chest in the living room. Other things to note There is a EV charger in the parking lot behind the Office Bar and Lounge, 1 block north. The indoor fireplaces are not currently working due to safety. We hope to have them functional for the 2026 fall/winter season.

With a full kitchen, spacious great room and first floor laundry, this is your home away from home. The space Take in the majesty of Lake Huron from the covered patio, covered porch, fire pit, 120 feet of sugar sand private beach front, or simply from the comfort of inside the house. Watch breath-taking sunrises and sunsets during the day and count the stars as the moonlight dances on the lake on the brightest of nights. If the conditions are right, you might also be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the northern lights. Fun and activities are in full supply at the Big Blue House on Lake Huron. In the warmer months, you can cool off in the sandy-bottomed lake that is also great for boating. There’s also beach volleyball, kayaking and paddle-boarding. Sand toys are provided for the kids and the kids at heart. When you’re ready for a change of pace or are staying in the cooler months, take a nice long walk along the beach for some light rock and glass collecting while watching for freighters off in the distance. Get your heart pumping while shooting hoops on the basketball net or use the driveway for bike riding or 4-square. Then step onto the lush grass for bocce ball, croquet, frisbee or one of the many other games that are provided. Stay cozy indoors with a wood-burning fire while playing one of the many board games available or watch a movie on one of the smart TV’s upstairs. Then head downstairs to the game room for ping-pong, cards or mini roulette. Want to get in a little shopping or grab a bite? Both downtown Tawas and downtown Oscoda are just a 10-15 minute car ride away. How about some sight-seeing?
