Our Wild River Retreat is on the bottom floor of the home. Both units have their own private entry and spaces. They share the Driveway, one walkway to the dock and the boat dock with each other. **Please note that the laundry room is also shared with our cleaners when they need to clean the *downstairs unit* (Only between the hours of 10-5) **This house sits DIRECTLY on the river. Please note that there are lots of wildlife, critters and bugs. It's truly nature at its best. - NOTE: Due to the proximity to the river, this property may not be suitable for children - NOTE: Parental supervision is advised for children under the age of 16 on the dock A dog fee ($35/dog/night) will apply, and we kindly ask that you review our full dog policy (posted on the listing) and keep in mind: - Up to two dogs allowed - The dogs are trained not to scratch, chew or go to the bathroom in the house - You do not *ever* leave the dogs on the property unattended at any time - You don’t allow them onto any furniture/linens - You pick up all poo/mess outside - You confirm that your booking clearly lists the pet As long as all of that works for you, we’re happy to have them! Our 40 foot pool is 9 feet deep and our 8 person hot tub is large enough for the whole family. Enjoy grilling steaks, fish or veggies on the Blackstone Grill with enough seating around the deck tables for 12. The kitchen and Wolf Stove make cooking a pleasure for any executive chef. There are plenty of couches and seating areas inside and out for everyone to enjoy a place to relax. We have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a den with another couple of twin beds in our writing room on the west end. From the Riverdeck, or along the riverside, you can see otters, fish; geese and ducks, and possibly an eagle! The fly shop in Redding is the place to book a fishing excursion and your guide will provide everything you need to enjoy a day fishing. Riverside Homestays has hosted weddings too, but this listing is only for home-stay activities only, not parties. I have a wheel-chair ramp set up for anyone with special needs. We also have a car charger at the front for an extra fee. There is a propane fireplace in the living room if you want some extra heat in the winter months. Guests who sign our agreement of personal responsibility, may enjoy using our hot tub & large pool that we share with guests who book the yellow cottage. We have some yard games to enjoy too. Please be considerate of other guests who may be renting the cottage. We have set up the Riverhouse for easy self check-in, usually by 4pm. I will give you the code to the keyless door entry, and when you check in, look on the AirBnB app for all the details and pictures to help you quickly get settled. If you need to work we have strong internet as well as a laser printer in the writing room you can use. Up to 8 people can relax in our brand new large hot tub which sits between the house and the cottage for all to share and enjoy who sign the waiver. We have a coffee maker so bring your favorite blend or enjoy a tea selection. There is a grocery very close by and you can feel free to cook up your favorite meal in this wonderful kitchen. There is a smaller propane grill outside on the kitchen deck too. Lounge on the deck or by the pool. Deer often stroll by in the morning or evening. Locally, we have many wonderful restaurants and fast food available too, to recharge before your journey down the highway. Burney Falls, Lassen Mountain, and Trinity Alps will through outdoor enthusiasts. Brew pubs, wineries, Odells craft BBQ, will thrill your tastebuds. Sundial bridge, Turtle Bay and Shasta Caves are fun for the whole family. Bethel Church is a quick 10-minute drive north at Exit 680 if you are attending a conference there. Whether you are just passing through, visiting the area, escaping city life, or need a place to rest and recharge, come to the Riverhouse! In the living room and the master bedroom there are Smart TVs you can enjoy watching. The Spectrum App works like cable TV with lots of channels. In the writing room, there is a tv monitor with HDMI cable so you can hook up your gaming device if you want to bring that with you. Lots of people come to Redding for conferences at Bethel or the Stirring. This is a NO SMOKING - NO PETs home, so please do not take any liberties in this aspect. We have guests and children who are very allergic. If we grant permission to bring a pet, there is a one-time $65/pet sanitising fee Any special events or party will require pre-approval. Here in California there have to been many power outages but we have a standby generator to automatically keep the lights on. Charge your car while you sleep with our convenient fee-based charger. Our home is Fully fenced and gated, outside security cameras that monitor 24/7 for your protection. No cameras are inside our home. If you desire to have more exclusive use of our pool, book this cottage for your maximum enjoyment and privacy. The cottage easily can accommodate sleeping for 4 more guests by using the queen bed. The whole property together is rated to sleep 14 adults easily. Our property managers have a separate apartment on site to keep up with the various ongoing maintenance needs. There is a laundry area available outside the kitchen guests may use. The basement utility area is private. Our pool is fenced and has its own lock. Anderson River Park, set on the beautiful Sacramento River with boat launch, is a short 2.2 mile drive. Enjoy Northern California in comfort. The space Casa Oeste provides a 3 bedroom 2 bath experience. The primary bedroom has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a full sized bed. Bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds that can be connected with a snap together strap under the beds to form a king bed. The primary bathroom has sink, toilet, tub and shower combo. Bathroom 2 has a sink, toilet, and shower. Guest access Guest are welcome our entire home, front and back yards, driveway and gravel area in front for parking . The garage is the only area excluded. Other things to note Washer and dryer are available for your convenience. We provide some laundry detergent pods for your convenience, please reserve one pod for checkout procedure. We have put so much love and care into making this a unique get-away for you and your family! You'll be close to all this area has to offer! Close to shops, restaurants, parks, lakes, rodeo grounds, fair grounds, etc! There is ample space for your boats, RVs, classic cars- you name it! Be our guest & enjoy the hot tub, pool, and have fun with your whole family! The space The house is very bright with plenty of windows. The space is open, but separated enough that your group can spread out. There are plenty of areas for your group to split up or gather, making it ideal for large groups visiting the area. A gated entrance welcomes you to a private drive, ensuring a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. Surrounded by well-maintained landscaping, The pond at the house entrance offers a tranquil approach to your river vacation while the koi fish welcome you with their never ending curiosity. The soothing sound of the cascading water falls fills the air, creating a peaceful ambiance perfect for relaxation. The kitchen is complete with refrigerator/freezer and a 2 drawer refrigerator drawer unit. Gas range, dishwasher, microwave and wine refrigerator. Full laundry room is available for your use. Outdoors you will find the outdoor kitchen complete with Twin Eagle outdoor appliances (smoker, side burner, flat grille) and another 2 drawer refrigerator drawer unit for those beverages you want outside. Wood burning pizza oven (wood is provided for the pizza oven and a variety of smoker pellet flavors for the smoker). With breakfast bar seating for 4 and an outdoor dining table for 6, there's plenty of room for everyone. The pool is not heated but remember we're in Redding where the sun does that job for us. Hot tub with jets is available as hot as you like it. Large fire pit for night time smores is always ready to be lit. Beach towels and some pool toys are provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Security cameras are located on the exterior of the property for safety purposes, including the driveway, front door (doorbell camera), and backyard. There are absolutely no cameras inside the home or in any private areas. Your privacy is very important to us. Guest access During your stay, you will have complete access to the property, even when the owner is nearby or on-site. The owner respects your privacy and will ensure that your vacation experience is peaceful and undisturbed. Should you need anything, the owner is available to assist, but will always maintain a respectful distance unless called upon. Your comfort and privacy are a top priority, allowing you to enjoy the space as if it were entirely your own. Other things to note BRING YOUR FISHING LICENSE! Fishing poles for the river and some gear is available for use while at the house for a small fee of $25 per pole per visit. This cost allows us to replenish fishing gear as necessary. Fishing licenses will be required to fish the river and can be purchased at various local shops if you don’t already have a license. The property does has several outdoor security cameras possibly no different than what you may have for your own home. None of the cameras are monitored. The backyard camera/light comes on only for detected movement but never recording.

Outdoors: Our 40 foot pool is a great size for all the guests to enjoy together. Our Caldera hot tub spa is designed for up to 6 adults comfortably and 42 jets that provide a relaxing massage therapy. The 1-acre yard, a grand redwood deck, along with a riverside deck provide plenty of uncrowded space for everyone to enjoy. Fishermen enjoy fly fishing in the river, catching trout, steelhead or salmon. Sit on the river deck to enjoy the sunset or the variety of birds and river animals. This is a gated property for added safety and privacy. The electric gate opens with a different code beginning with the # symbol and closes with the key button next to the kitchen door of the house. Guests may find this code on the check in instructions in the Airbnb app. Other things to note Pets are allowed but please clean up after your dog. We do provide some poo bags both the house and the cottage. Dogs must be house trained and no vicious dog breeds are allowed. There is a $50 pet cleaning fee added per dog to remove any allergens caused by shedding.. We do not allow pets in the pool nor hot tub nor alone in the house. Wednesdays, our pool man will be on-site to perform the regular weekly pool maintenance. Our cleaner Carrie, is also available to assist with cleaning if you desire. She charges $25/hour. Our property manager lives in a studio unit behind the garage. Our maintenance team may be onsite working on a variety of ongoing projects during your stay but everyone will be respectful of your private holiday. You may see them on-site doing lawn care or taking care of the garden. Their private service area is in the basement and will use a separate service entrance so there are no shared areas officially on the property and rarely any direct contact. As you enter through the front door entryway, there sits a Lovely Sitting /Tea Room, next to a welcoming Mediterranean style Kitchen, and a cozy breakfast nook. The nook has a view of the bird feeders/houses, as the birds come and feast and rest. Next to the nook, opens to our bird themed, leather and wood decor, "Bourbon Room" with an extra large 83" flat screen Smart TV, and Bose Sound system. I remember that when I was looking through all of the available listings, The Pineapple House name really caught my stare. The name drew me in, and I had to see what it was. So now that my dream has been met, and I own a delicious slice of the Pineapple. There are subtle pineapple decorations sprinkled around the house and the refrigerator is always stocked with freshly canned pineapple slices and chunks. Guest access The Pineapple House is all yours during your stay. The living space is about 1550 square feet. The only space that I keep locked up is the garage which does not have a doorway to the main house. There is enough room to park 6 cars in the driveway.
