Cozy, fully furnished, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, townhouse with updated interior and all new floor coverings, located on the east side of town - 3 miles from Mt Elden Lookout trailhead, about 3.5 miles from downtown Flagstaff, and about 9.5 miles from the road to AZ Snowbowl (Basecamp at Snowbowl). The space The downstairs is all hard flooring - engineered wood and tile - with area rugs placed throughout. The living room is designed for comfort and relaxation, with a gas fireplace, new furniture and a 46 inch TV with a Roku streaming device. Furnishings include a full-sized sofa, love seat, and a swivel chair with an ottoman. A sliding door opens to the patio in the enclosed back yard. There is a gas grill and outdoor furniture for dining or just relaxing. There are 2 birdfeeders – one on each side of the yard – which attract a variety of songbirds creating a nice, tranquil environment. The kitchen is fully equipped – whether cooking for the family or simply needing to heat up restaurant take-out (see amenities). Full-size washer and dryer set is off of the kitchen. All of the bedrooms are fully furnished – one downstairs and two upstairs. The downstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed, black-out curtains, a desk and chair, and a TV with built-in DVD and a Roku streaming device. The upstairs, front bedroom has a queen-size bed and a TV with a Roku streaming device. The back bedroom has a full-size bed, black-out curtains, and a TV with a DVD player. Its a comfortable and cozy home in the heart of Flagstaff, a great base for your snowbowl ski & Grand Canyon adventure tips! This beautiful home is single level -great for all. A quick and easy walk to parks, and a 5 minute drive to downtown Flagstaff and NAU. A short 15 minute drive to the Snowbowl, 45 minutes to Sedona, and about an hour to the Grand Canyon. Not pet friendly. The space The whole house is yours! Along with a big private back yard with fountains, a fire pit, and comfortable seating to relax and unwind. As frequent travelers ourselves, we try to make sure that we offer all of the amenities that we would hope to find in a vacation rental. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything from a crock pot and a blender to all of your basic spices, oils, paper towels, and Tupperware. We also supply all of the basics like shampoo/conditioner, body wash and laundry soap. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible with all the little things that make vacation a little easier. We will send detailed instructions on the morning of your arrival date, which will contain a 4 digit code needed to enter the property through the front door. For the security of our guest and the safety of our home we have doorbell cameras located at the front and back door. Our Flagstaff home is in a quiet neighborhood at the base of Mount Elden, convenient to hiking trails, downtown Flagstaff, NAU and the Snow Bowl ski area. We live half the year in rural Texas and half in Flagstaff - grandkids in both. When we're in Texas, you will have access to our entire fully furnished Flagstaff home. The space Our downstairs master bedroom has a king bed and private on-suite bath. Also downstairs are our living room, kitchen and dining room, along with a powder bath and office. The office has an external monitor, Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, printer, Surface Pro docking station and standard office supplies. Incidental use of office supplies are encouraged but please furbish any substantial office supplies used. Two bedrooms are upstairs with a shared full bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twins. A deck accessed from the kitchen overlooks our back yard, which is in desperate need of landscaping (work in progress). Our two-car garage is available for your use along with a two-car driveway in front of the garage. We have televisions in the living room and master bedroom, fast WIFI and basic cable TV subscription (please don't accidently sign us up for premium channels). Flagstaff is at 7,000ft above sea level and averages almost 100” of snow per year. Snow typically starts in late November and can last as late as June. The snowiest months are December through March and the snow amounts can vary greatly from year to year. If you choose to travel in Northern Arizona during the winter months you should be prepared to drive in the snow. Look ahead at the weather forecast as your trip gets closer and plan ahead. The website Az511 is a great resource for road conditions in Arizona. A vehicle with AWD is recommended. If you don’t have AWD, have tire chains with you and know how to use them. Keep extra food, water and blankets in the car in case you are stuck somewhere for an extended period of time. Full kitchen with beautiful hardwood floors throughout Guest access The back yard is shared with the casita I have connected to the house there is a solid brick wall between you and them you cannot hear each other. I ran the casita for a year and a half and never heard them at all. Other then that I will give you a code to get in the house and use when you’re staying with us! Other things to note If you have more then one vehicle, one will go on the very right side of the house and the other will go in the drive way. There is another Airbnb on the property THEIR PARKING will be parking on the very left side of the driveway.

This funky fun '70s-era house is full of character, with newer comfortable furnishings and plenty of privacy for a perfect getaway. The space The main floor has all three bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, 2 full bathrooms and laundry. Two steps take you down to the cozy living room, the gas wood stove, 1/2 bath and access to the garage where the ping pong and darts are. We have a baby gate, a booster seat with a tray for babies/toddlers, a pack and play, baby spoons and forks, and plastic dinnerware and cups for children. Guest access You have access to the whole house, driveway for parking, and back yard. No garage access for parking, but you do have access to the garage for ping pong, another TV, and darts. Other things to note There is an air conditioner on the main level as well as in the living room. Each bedroom is equipped with a fan for extra comfort. Heat source is forced air, all throughout the house, and gets toasty quick! Addition to forced air heating, there also is a natural gas powered wood stove in the living room that can heat the room and provide a nice ambiance. Flagstaff is the gateway to the Grand Canyon and other popular destinations so you will hear a bit of road noise from the surrounding highways outdoors but is nothing more than a murmur. We have a baby gate, a booster seat with a tray for babies/toddlers, a pack and play, baby spoons and forks, and plastic dinnerware and cups for children. There are two video cameras located outside at the front door. One is a Ring Doorbell camera and the other is a camera that points to the driveway. These are the only cameras on the premises. You will find a lot of personal touches that are not typical of most short term vacation rentals. The house is located on a dead end street and a cul-de-sac so there is hardly anyone driving by and the place feels very private. The neighbors on either side and across are lovely people and full time Flagstaff residents so please respect their privacy. We don’t use any type of air fresheners in the house or scented detergents or scented dryer sheets on the bed or bath linens. Our tv’s are all connected to NETFLIX for your viewing enjoyment. Guest account profiles are Flagstaff Adult Guest and Flagstaff Child Guest Casting/Screen Mirroring Feel free to use your own personal credentials and log in to any other streaming content services you may subscribe to, or you can “cast” or “screen mirror” from your own smart device to any of the 5 smart TV’s. The house itself has a great mix of outdoor and indoor space, with a large outdoor patio with fire pit and grill. Inside, the house is united by a large great room space with spacious views , 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a fully stocked and ready to cook kitchen. The space The primary suite is on the entry level and other two bedrooms are on the second floor. All beds are queen size . All bedrooms have large smart televisions. Guest access Entire townhome is useable. Unit is an end unit with only one common wall. Very private ! Other things to note Our townhome does not cater towards young children/toddlers. Look at the photos, which will show the height of the second floor and the staircase. We want to be sure that you and your family members are safe.
