Pet hair is notoriously difficult to remove from bedding, and excessive hair can permanently damage or ruin linens. Since we do not charge a pet fee, we simply cannot afford to replace freshly washed bedding every time Pouch decides the human bed looks more luxurious than his perfectly good doggy bed. This is a firm house policy: dogs must sleep in the provided pet bed—not on the human beds. We appreciate your help keeping our linens clean, fresh, and ready for the next guest. Your pup gets a comfy bed, you get happy linens, and everyone wins! Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the property under any circumstances, including medicinal marijuana. Any evidence of smoking or vaping indoors will result in an immediate $750 fee, in addition to any costs required to restore the property to its original condition. I came with two daughters, one very smart 14 year old Chihuahua - Dasha, and a loving mom who, during COVID, lost the vision in one eye. Vlad joined the adventure with a son of his own—and somehow also managed to fuel my already abundant and extremely determined work ethic! Then COVID turned our world upside down. My 20-year transportation company, which I had built over 20 years, was shut down. At the same time, my mom went through a series of surgeries as doctors worked to save her eye. I didn’t want donations. I wanted to work. I wanted to do whatever I could to help my mom and contribute to her medical expenses while keeping our family moving forward. That’s where Airbnb came into our story. What started as a way to help with medical bills slowly became something much bigger. And then, because apparently our family didn’t have quite enough characters yet, we adopted a Boston Terrier - Zava with damaged eyes while my mom was recovering from surgery. ❤️ So there we were: two beloved family members who couldn’t see very well—but both could somehow see straight into everyone’s heart. One was my mom, the other had four legs and a serious personality. 🐶❤️ Those two became an unexpected reminder that sometimes life doesn’t go according to plan—and sometimes the most beautiful chapters come from the detours. We kept working. We worked hard, learned a lot, and gradually added more properties. Today, every property we have comes with the glamorous grown-up responsibilities of mortgages, insurance, utilities, maintenance, and all the other exciting bills that show up whether or not anyone books a stay. This unique home has a style all of its own class. From a hidden workout room, sauna, hot tub, and 4 bedrooms with sleeping arrangements for 9 people - this is a top of the line retreat just teetering between Portland and Beaverton. In less than 15 minutes you're in downtown Portland, or you can stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities we offer! The space You have the entire house to yourself. 2 queen bedrooms, 1 king bedroom with an en suite bathroom, and a bunk room with a queen bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top and an additional two full bathrooms (one on the main level, one on the lower level). There's a well stocked kitchen on the main level with a spacious living room, as well as a kitchenette and another living room on the bottom level. A hidden workout room is revealed through a bookshelf door where you'll find access to the sauna! Enjoy the BBQ, hot tub, and outdoor seating area on the spacious patio! Guest access Guests have access to the entire space. Other things to note There is some noise from Sunset Hwy you can hear when outside. We've never noticed this while inside and the noise should not be a problem in that regard. We have supplies stored here for a business in the shed under the carport that our employees will come through to grab. They will never access anything past the driveway and will be in and out very quickly. FIREPLACE We do not allow any fires in the main level fireplace. There is an electric fireplace on the lower level that you're welcome to use. PARKING There's a carport that can fit 2 cars. PARTIES Absolutely no parties or gatherings are allowed here. Please do not book if that is your intention. Our house rules go into detail on the high fee you'll incur for throwing a party here. Please note: The primary shower drains a bit slowly. We recommend avoiding letting the water run continuously for extended periods to prevent water buildup. Thank you for your understanding.

Portland Pool Lodge was made for creating memories. A covered heated pool w/ waterslide (open all year), indoor basketball court, and three fireplaces. An all age entertainment paradise with a theater room, ping pong, rod hockey and arcades. Enjoy a safe suburban location in Cedar Mill area near Forest Park. The local food scene, zoo, Rose Gardens and NIKE are all just 10 minutes away with a short 25 minute drive to PDX airport. Bring Your friends & Family and enjoy the best of Portland! The space This is our personal home that we rent while out of town. It is located in a beautiful established and quiet neighborhood. The pool's curfew is a strict 10am-10pm. There are two exterior cameras (driveway/pool) for safety and insurance purposes. The Pool Lodge is absolutely perfect for a wonderful time with a group of friends and family, but it is absolutely not the place for loud drunken parties. This is a non-smoking and non-animal property, not inside nor outside of the property. There is plenty on parking on property on the driveway for up to 4 cars side by side or more if double parked. We've added some furniture since these pictures were taken, so there may be some new/changed linens in rooms. There is a total of 11 beds in 4 bedrooms, all located upstairs. Total of 3.5 baths, 2 upstairs, and 1.5 baths downstairs. Primary Room: 1 King w/ En Suite Bath. Room 2: 2 Twin beds and 1 Queen. Room 3: 4 twins (2 bunkbeds) Room 4: 1 King and 2 twins. The bedrooms in the lodge have uncovered skylights to let in the beautiful stars at night and the bright morning sun. If this is a nuisance to you, we suggest bringing eye masks. Pool is open all year and heated between 85-90 degrees at no extra cost! -BBQ MUST be reserved prior to check-in and a $50 cleaning and propane fee will be charged in advance. Same day requests may be denied. Please just reach out to us to let us know if you'd like to use the BBQ. This beautiful retreat is a great place to unwind after exploring the Portland area. The location offers the best of both worlds- it very private, yet only a 15 minute drive to downtown Portland. The space We offer a large, inviting home in a Portland suburb that is perfect for large groups with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is one bedroom, a bathroom, and a separate kitchenette located on the main floor that provides ease of access for older relatives or families with young children. This home features custom woodwork throughout, serene views of the property, and a thoughtfully designed living space and chef's kitchen. Guest access You will have access to the entire 1/2 acre corner lot with an outdoor hammock, patio furniture, and barbecue. You have access to every part of the house excluding the garages. The neighborhood is wonderful for walking and features a small grocery store (The Little Store) only 0.4 miles from the house. Should your group enjoy playing pool. it should provide you great entertainment no matter if you are on vacation, work trip or family reunion. During your stay, you will have access to a basic stocked kitchen including: drip coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and pots & pans. It is now legal to smoke Marijuana in Oregon and we do have a patio set in the front courtyard for you as a designated area to smoke. Other things to note We strive to ensure that your stay is as peaceful, comfortable & enjoyable as possible. Since the house has a flat roof, you may hear the rhythm of the falling rain, "pitter pater, pitter pater". It's a soothing sound to some, for the others, we have radios in every room. We usually joke that Oregon was built on a giant anthill. We do try to manage the indoor ant population, but the truth is that it is darn impossible to keep them out. To avoid a run-in with these tiny pest, please keep food confine to the kitchen & dinning area. Wipe crumps off counter & floors. Tell us if you see more than a few here and there. We do provide some necessities for cooking (ie. sugar, salt, pepper & spices). Furthermore, some Guests brought other things and subsequently left them behind. If you see any that you can use, that's perfect. If there's any expired food, please toss them. This house was built in the early 60s, and although we had done some remodeling, there will be some loose screws & wear and tear around the house. We only rent them together, so you will never find yourself with noise from other guests. Easy entry via the front door with an electronic lock system to provide 24/7 access. Guest access After you arrive and self-check in, the whole house is yours with only one exception, a large storage room off the master bedroom where we store supplies. The access door to this storage space will be locked. We do this so you may have the garage for parking your vehicle. For parking you're welcome to park in the driveway or on the road by the home, either the front or the back of the home. You may also park in the garage! For security purposes we don't provide a garage door opener, yet. You need to access the home first to open the garage for your use. Sorry for this inconvenience. Around 25 minutes to Portland depending on traffic. The space This is a spacious single-level house with four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, two living and dining spaces. The internet speed is one gigabit, symmetrical, download and upload speeds are the same with WIFI mesh repeater system in place. Unlimited Netflix, national news channels, weather, and PBS on the high-definition TV. You also have access to a covered deck, lower deck, and small private back yard. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house, except the garage and 2 locked closets. There are three large off-street parking spaces in the driveway as well as street parking. Please note that we do have a rigorous "No street shoes in the house" policy to keep the house and floors clean. The house is family friendly but not necessarily child-proofed. If you are traveling with children, please specify ages and number. Other things to note We have exterior cameras to monitor the outside of our house. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may, at the owner's discretion, result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights' rents. Please note there is NO landline phone in the house. Be advised to use your cell phone in the event of an emergency. There is unlimited high-speed WiFi available. Garbage day is Tuesday morning. Please have trash in garbage bin curbside Monday night along with recyclables. Recyclables (paper, plastic and aluminum cans) go into the gray/tan container and glass into the small red bin.
