The space This was our family's full-time residence, so much love and care went into the renovating and homemaking, plenty of memories were made and it is turnkey for an extended stay. It is also a "low tox" home, where we do not use synthetic fragrances, there are no air fresheners, the laundry detergent is sensitive skin/fragrance free, hand soap is Raw Sugar brand, we minimize use of harsh chemicals, etc. The kitchen has tools such as a blender, griddle, air fryer, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, handheld drink mixer, kid dishes, toddler silverware, sippy cups, suction cup placemats, etc. There is a deep freezer available in the garage if needed. Bedroom 1: King bed, ensuite bathroom Bedroom 2: Queen bed Bedroom 3: 2 Twin XL beds All beds have comfortable mattresses (king size one has a topper for those who like a softer bed), high quality linens and extra blankets available. All bedrooms have closets, extra outlets for charging devices, blackout cellular shades and ceiling fans. The workspace is a large desk with comfortable chair, extra monitor that plugs into a USB port, extra keyboard that plugs into a USB port, cordless mouse and a Dell docking station for compatible devices. Guests have access to the garage. 1 stall is used for storage and the other is an available parking space with garage door opener. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Our kids played outside often when we lived there and you will often see people out walking. Internet is high speed through AT&T. Other things to note This house was built in the 1950's and is located in Texas, meaning it is prone to foundation shifts. In certain seasons, interior doors may not close perfectly or cosmetic sheet rock cracks may appear. This is all normal. Our hot water heater produces very hot water. If you do not like extra hot showers or are staying in the summer, you can either let us know to turn down the hot water heater before you check in or we can explain how you can do it during your stay. We were not a TV watching family, so there is only one TV in the home. It is a Smart TV, albeit an older one and we do have a Fire Stick for it for access to streaming. Trash and recycling are picked up weekly. Please wheel the carts down to the curb on Thursday evenings, 3 feet apart, lids facing the street, during your stay.
