As our guests, you are allowed to fully access the country club's five (5) amenities with discount fees - $100 for 3-day access for a group of 2 adults and 3 children under 23 years old. Additional small fees are required for more guests and more access days. IMPORTANT NOTE: To help save the Clubhouse Access fees you should list on the "Form" ONLY the guests who need to use one of those 5 amenities. Outside the villa, there are many things to do in Walden on Lake Conroe with so many amenities available for your enjoyment. Enjoy swimming at Walden's Yacht Club swimming pool with additional kiddie pool and cabana, located on the lakefront with a stunning view of the lake. Enjoy a special dinner at the Yacht Club dining room, a friendly game of tennis at one of the many courts, a few are even covered. There is also plenty of shopping, antiquing, fine and casual dining nearby. Any guests beyond the number listed on your itinerary will be charged a fee of $50 per night, per person. Airbnb will require us to terminate your stay without a refund if you exceed the maximum occupancy of 16 guests, even if the guest above number 16 are just stoping by. There are entry and exterior cameras to ensure you are compliant with this policy. This policy is an Airbnb policy who mandates host enforce said policy or be removed from the platform. Guests are responsible for the safety of their families and invitees. There is no onsite staff or lifeguard. The owners/host are not responsible for any injuries to guests. There are inherent dangers in the surrounding area, including but not limited to snakes, spiders, mosquitos, undercurrents, bacteria or debris in the lake, risk of drowning, sudden storms, flash flooding, lightening. We cannot control the weather or water conditions, and we make no guarantees that the lake or the pool will be safe for swimming and recreation. No diving in the lake and the water is shallow with rocks along the bulk head. Access the lake using the ladder entry. Please use common sense and follow all safety guidelines and laws. The guest assumes acknowledgement and understands these dangers upon reservation confirmation and is responsible for protecting themselves and all invitees at all times during their stay.

Waterfont lake house was professionally decorated and was outfitted by heavy users of short term rentals so it has the best little “extras” found from traveling all around the world. The kitchen has been used for family Thanksgiving dinners and we have hosted numerous small family reunions. The sunsets are spectacular and the location can’t be beat—no fast boats or jet skis (we are on a no wake zone) so swimming and lazy lounging on the water is wonderful. Come enjoy the lake life! The space This waterfront lake house was built for family and friends to enjoy time together on the Lake. The views are breathtaking from most rooms in the house and the two person swing by the boathouse ensures water fun all year long. The disco ball and twinkling lights by the boat house adds some fun to the nights as well! We have even added a fire pit and some outdoor Adirondack chairs so you can enjoy the sunsets even more. A brand new black matte metal roof during rainstorms is magical. Conroe is just the right blend of starry nights & city lights. This house provides a family-friendly, fun & activity-filled vacation or a romantic & relaxing getaway. Our guests have access to all the April Sound Country Club amenities for an additional fee--please note this is a change in their policy and we had no control over that. The house has distressed dark grey hardwood throughout the house except for kitchen, utility room and bathrooms which have wood-like tile. Every room has floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows with views galore. The kitchen has been fully remodeled and is equipped and functional with stainless steel appliances, utensils, silverware, pots and pans and service for 12 is provided. A limited amount of paper supplies (paper towels, napkins and toilet paper) are provided. You will fall in love with the farmhouse sink and the industrial semi-pro faucet. Countertop ice maker, waffle maker, electric griddles, Ninja blender...every gadget & small appliance you can imagine! All bathrooms & the kitchen have granite countertops & new fixtures. The patio has a cozy two-person swing at the boathouse and a picnic table so no matter what mood you're in, you can sit outside and breathe in the water view. An outdoor kitchen with gas grill and granite counter top allow families to enjoy the lake while cooking. We provide all BBQ utensils that you could need. Two adirondack chairs and small patio table are strategically placed on outdoor patio to catch the spectacular Lake Conroe sunsets. We also have counter height outdoor seating with 4 chairs and a table to enjoy the lake views. We also provide a picnic table with 2 benches for additional seating options. Two outdoor lounge chairs with sunbrella also provided. We also have 4 Adirondack chairs that surround a fire pit perfect for S'mores on the lake--make sure to bring wood if you're planning to use the fire pit! The water is about 4-6 feet deep beside the bulkhead depending on the water level of the lake. They lower the water level during Hurricane Season as a precaution. You can use the wooden staircase that leads into the water by the boat house and swim if you desire at your own risk and we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE swimmers to use certified flotation devices. At night, you can turn on the disco ball & twinkling lights at the boat house & enjoy dancing to the moonlight. The Master Bedroom is on the first level. It includes a King Size Tempurpedic mattress with luxury linens and anti-allergenic mattress covers and pillows. It includes his and hers walk-in closets and full bathroom with gorgeous new claw foot tub and step in shower with rain shower head--we provide thick bath towels and beach towels. A Smart TV is in the Master--NO CABLE, just streaming available. The room has a floor to ceiling wall of windows to enjoy the lake views as well as french doors that lead out to the balcony. But don't worry about the light--custom black out shades cover the entire wall of windows. Downstairs also has a guest bedroom with a Queen tempurpedic mattress, luxury linens and anti allergenic covers for mattress and pillows--the glass doors have black out window treatment for privacy and to ensure a good night's sleep. A brand new full bathroom on the first floor with step in shower and granite counter top on the vanity adds convenience for guests. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that both have black out custom window treatments. One bedroom has a Queen size tempurpedic mattress and a beautiful private balcony lets you enjoy the wonderful lake views. The other bedroom has a bunk bed with Twin on top and Full on the bottom as well as a separate twin bed. All mattresses are foam Tempurpedic and have luxury linens and anti allergenic mattress and pillow covers. This secondary bedroom also has a large private balcony to enjoy the expansive and unobstructed lake views. Each of the upstairs balconies have two counter height chairs to enjoy the views.
