There is also street parking all around the cottage, but it can be hard to find a spot on weekends. Street parking is limited to two hours between 8am and 5pm. There's also a large public parking lot 1.5 blocks away, where you can park all day/overnight (up to 72 hrs). It is inexpensive (you can conveniently pay using your Park Mobile App.) & very safe. It has 2 bedrooms downstairs, a master suite with a queen size bed and guest bedroom with a bunk bed (full on the bottom and a twin on top). There is a 4 piece bathroom and a separate vanity for the master bedroom. Enjoy the flat screen TV in the master bedroom. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage including closet space and dressers. Upstairs is the living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, 1/2 bath, and 2 outdoor patios. Walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, or a nice walk along the river. We are right in the Capitola Village. We hope you enjoy your stay. If you have questions, we respond promptly. The space This is a private home with 2 queen beds and queen sleeper sofa and full kitchen. We provide beach chairs, beach towels, a surfboard, and a boogie board along with a beach wagon. The washer and dryer are located at the end of the kitchen. The two parking spaces directly in front of the unit are for your use. The unit sleeps 6 comfortably. Other things to note Note: There is Construction happening on the neighboring property adjacent to our home. Although this is temporary the City does allow construction between the hours of 7:30am to 9pm M-F and 9am to 4pm on Sat. No construction allowed on Sundays. Be aware that there could be construction noise occurring during these hours. If that is not acceptable to you we look forward to having you join us once their construction is complete. Seaview Condo - 150 Steps to the beach!

Forget Europe! Take a break from it all and stay at our centrally located Jem in the Jewel Box neighborhood. 1,193 sq. ft. Work from home here, take some time to relax, catch some tasty waves and you'll be fine. Set in a quiet neighborhood, but you get to hear the ocean some nights more than others. You'll be renting our front cottage home. Full disclosure: we have a full time renter in the apartment that is detached from home, set above back garage. Back Tenant has their own walkway & driveway. The space Living room, hall and both bedrooms are hardwood floor we had re-buffed. They do have character. Excellent natural light throughout. We added LED recessed lighting. Painted interior walls, added tall baseboards, put in a new bathroom, resurfaced front patio, set new plants at the front and painted the exterior. It's our home from home and love staying here. Guest access Easy access with the cliffs that overlook Capitola Warf just 1.5 blocks away. We've taken nightly walks to sit at the park benches there. You can also get right down into The Village and we've taken bikes there. Privates Beach is easy/close. We also love popping over to 41st Ave. for Verve Coffee or Cat & Cloud most mornings. One parking spot in the left driveway and always street parking available. Other things to note As noted elsewhere, this is our front cottage home and there is a longtime tenant at the ADU (apartment) that is set solely above the garage. It's not connected except at the roof and steps can be heard from the bedroom. Tenant at back uses their walkway that walks by the double bed-bedroom and parks his vehicle into the right driveway.

The space There is a cozy reading nook that has a full futon that can be used as a sleeping spot with a twin mattress on top, a favorite in my family as it overlooks the river and you awake to seagulls but it’s not as comfortable as a real bed (in my opinion). There is a second twin bed in the common area, see picture. One parking space only otherwise you will have to find street parking or paid parking which is close by (for additional cars). I bought this special place July 2021 and have renovated most things, new paint, cabinets, carpet and appliances. Welcome to the Gladys house! Local permit #231060—Situated in the Jewel Box above Capitola, sleeps 5/6 , has 2 full baths, 2 bedrooms and a convertible workspace. Enclosed yard, koi pond.. walk to anything. Dogs ok (but please read on..) Quiet neighborhood,- outdoor shower/bath, bikes to borrow, parking for 3 vehicles. EV charger, BBQ- everything you need to enjoy the area! The space I hand built most of this house, there's a lot of love here. Guest access The entire house is yours and yours alone, but the garage is off-limits and so is the loft in the main bedroom. Other things to note THERE IS A POND OUTSIDE that theoretically could be dangerous to small dogs or children if unattended. The area is easily avoidable with gates and doors. A NOTE ON DOGS: We are dog lovers and we WANT to continue to offer this space for dogs. Please- 1) let us know if you are bringing a dog. Yes, there’s a fee… we spend a LOT of extra time cleaning fur off furniture, dog poop that was not remembered… etc. Please be honest and let us know your plans so that we can continue to allow this privilege. 2). THERE IS A POND and my koi are valuable and sentimental to me. If you don’t think you can keep your dog out of the pond, please book elsewhere. 3) PLEASE do not leave your dog unattended. Ever. I’m sorry. Even dogs that “never” bark …. bark when they are in new environments. This is distressing to my neighbors, and it will result in you being asked to remove your dog during your stay. This traditional 2 bedroom beach house is cozy and comfortable. Located in the desirable Pleasure Point Area. You can walk to the beach, surf the point or watch the sunset from the beautiful cliffs! Just 3 miles to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk! Experience Santa Cruz from this world renowned surf location and one of the most popular local surf spots! Our street is a popular street. There will be some car noise and people walking/ bicycling to the beach! Vacation rental Permit #181397 The space The Beach house is small but cozy. Its full of sunshine with fresh sea air! Located in a friendly neighborhood just 3/4 of a mile to the ocean! It has a private yard with a sweet garden that provides privacy. Perfect to enjoy your morning coffee. The first bedroom sleeps two in a queen size Nova gel memory foam bed. The second bedroom Sleeps two in a full size tempurpedic memory foam bed. The couch also pulls out into a full size bed. We welcome pets with no pet fees so you may find evidence that pets haven been there by a few hairs left behind. This does not mean the house has not been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. There is parking in the driveway and additional free parking on the street. The driveway is small but large vehicles do fit. We have had oversized trucks, uhauls, campers and travel vans. It’s overall a very sweet spot! I rely on positive feedback from my guests. After your stay, it would be greatly appreciated that you post positive ratings to Airbnb! Occupancy Ordinance: Per county code, maximum overnight occupancy of this vacation rental shall not exceed 6 persons (2 per bedroom + 2 additional not counting children under 12). Further, the maximum occupancy for temporary gatherings for celebrations between 8:00am and 10:00pm shall not exceed 16 people. Violations of either of these Ordinances may lead to expulsion from the Property and Guest will forfeit all fees paid. 3. Transient Guests: People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. 4. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Please do not take house towels outside. 5. Weather: No refunds will be given for storms or bad weather. 6. Liability: The Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Property or while using any of its facilities or provided amenities. We provide off-street parking in a private parking area. This gorgeous apartment is adjacent to our Architectural offices. The Bombora apartment has its own private entrance. A very quiet location. Fire pit. 3 min walk to the famous Gayle's Bakery 4 min walk to the Capitola Village shops and restaurants 5 min walk and your toes are in the sand The space We provide some fun details like. A surfboard, beach chairs, beach towels, and a beach wagon to bring your gear down to the beach. We also have an exterior deck with a beautiful fire pit. Guest access There is a spiral stair to a roof deck near the front door. This stair and roof deck are not for guest access. Other things to note Your neighbor is an architectural office. The office is open during normal week day hours. 8am to 7pm. Although the walls are well insulated, you may hear others faintly. Cleaners come to the office each Saturday morning near 8am. You will hear them. Our home does not accommodate animals, service animals or ESA's, due to allergies. If you use the exterior gas fire pit, please keep noise levels down. We'd hate to upset our neighbors.
