Fans: one can be found a bedroom closet and there is an extra one in the garage. *WINTER WARNING* Snow shovels are kept in the garage for you to use as needed. There is no easy way to deal with snow and we cannot be held responsible for driveway clearing when all your vehicles are parked there. A private plow company will clear the driveway if no cars are parked in the way. The City’s snow removal equipment will be clearing the streets during and after snow storms, and will tow your car AND fine you over $200 if they decide your parked car impedes their process. Boat and personal watercraft rentals are also available at the marina at the end of Ski Run Blvd. SKI/SNOWBOARD/SNOW EQUIPMENT - can be stored in the garage/carport or outside deck and NOT in the house. This is the ideal Tahoe location year round! Our adorable (2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, plus bunk area) chalet is a short walk to Lake Tahoe and beautiful meadows. It is under 3 miles to Stateline and Heavenly Mountain Resort. A total of 7 guests and 2 cars are permitted. Month stays or longer only. The space YAY - We have brand new central heat and air conditioning! Such a rare find in Tahoe! Bedrooms: There is a memory foam bed in each of the two bedrooms. The bedroom with the King size bed has a little tiny half bath (think airplane bathroom). It is small but gets the job done. Bunk room: There is also a bunk area off of the kitchen. (This is also where you will find the laundry). The max weight on top bunk 150lbs, max on bottom 250lbs. Linens, pillows, and towels are provided. There is also a washer and dryer available for use. The house has 2 TVs (Roku / smart TV) and wifi. For outdoor fun we have a grill, outdoor seating on the front and back decks, corn hole set, 2 adult bikes and 1 kid (5-9 yo) bike. Our neighborhood, Al Tahoe, is rare in that it is on the lake side of Hwy 50 / Lake Tahoe Blvd. You will wake up feeling like you are worlds away and yet you are just walking distance to Regan Beach, El Dorado Beach, Lakeview Commons and the Upper Truckee Marsh. You can also walk to Paddle Board, kayak and bike rentals, great cafes, an ice cream stand, pizza parlor, and sandwich shops. You are a 5 minute drive to Heavenly’s Cal Lodge. You are also a 5 minute drive to the Gondola and Stateline. We also have a Wholefoods Market, RiteAid, and Safeway within a 5 minute drive. ADDITIONAL DETAILS: I thought I would mention a few of the items we try to keep stocked so you don't buy or bring anything extra. (Read I am the ultimate lite packer). We are well stocked on linens and pillows. (Under the beds in storage bags you will find extras if needed.) For the beach and boating we have a few beach towels. Please bring extras if you have a larger group. Please do not use the bath towels. In the cabinets above the stove you will usually find: Sugar, powder creamer, olive oil, salt and pepper and various random spices and hot sauces. In the living room you will find a Bluetooth speaker, playing cards, uno, games, puzzles, dice and kids toys you may have seen referenced in reviews. The expansive primary has king bed with adjustable base, and a twin futon couch, as well as an office/desk set up. We offer a fully stocked kitchen, Nespresso Coffee Maker, dishwasher. The Living room has a 55-inch flat screen TV where guests have access to their subscribed-Netflix, Hulu, HBOMax, Prime, etc., and high speed internet. There is a wine cooler in the living area and a small bar. The laundry room is located downstairs with a full size washer and dryer. There is a spacious unfenced common area backyard with deck. The Tanglewood Chalet-Pet Friendly

Great central location in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. No ugly power lines! Just up the street you can walk or ski into the Upper Truckee Marsh Conservancy area and make your way to the lake or the Tahoe Keys. The South Lake Tahoe Bike Path passes through here a few blocks away. Its about a 10 minute bike ride to go 2 miles up to Regan Beach. Fully outfitted kitchen, laundry, linens and towels provided.  Maximum guests is 6. Pets: Please inquire about dogs, no cats. The space The cabin was remodeled from its 1976 origins in 2012 so gone is that beloved 70's paneling and the extra walls so the whole kitchen - dining - living area flow together; with the original open beam ceiling it has a comfy spacious feel to it. This living area has the deck off of it and it has wonderful southern exposure so there it is light and bright all day long. The filtered view of the Carson Range near Heavenly and the grassy green lawn make this a nice little peaceful refuge. The space of the house is nicely laid out and it utilizes it well. First floor has full size bedroom with roomy closet and queen bed, full bath and laundry room you can use. Second floor has a 'cozy' bedroom with a pretty ponderosa pine outside its window (queen bed), plus the large bedroom with the same view of the mountains as from the deck. This bedroom has a queen bed and two single futons on convertible frames. Upstairs you get the vaulted chalet ceiling, and there is another bath with shower. Kitchen has appliances that includes a gas stove (instead of electric!) and, mercifully, a dishwasher. With the granite counter tops and island, plus all the cooking gear and plates you'll need you can get to work cooking up a storm in there should you desire. There are a couple of bar stools at the island, and the dining table has a leaf so you can expand it. Living room has an efficient wood stove, 46 inch LCD HDTV and DVD player, and some comfortable seating - better than we have at home! All the bedrooms have clothes closets and new high quality, non-toxic mattresses made in the US. The big upstairs bedroom has a small (32 x 48') Foosball/multi game table and a 37 inch LCD HDTV. The TV's have Roku devices and a Chromecast. Youtubetv is available. The cabin is not child-proof. For example, the electrical outlets do not have guards on them, the stairs do not have a safety gate, the cable tv and internet do not have any filters or restrictions on them, the deck does not have barriers to animals. Please exercise reasonable supervision with children and minors using a house that is unfamiliar to them. The cabin shares a common yard with other homes nearby, please keep noise to a minimum. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am. Coyotes and bears pass through the area now and then. They avoid people but should be respected. There is one dedicated parking space in the parking lot; cars can park in guest spaces or the street. Pets: Please inquire about dogs, no cats. I will ask you agree to pay any extra cleaning fees the cleaning crew charges me. Please clean up after your dogs outside and keep them off the beds, comforters, and throws. Washer, dryer, hair dryer in each bathroom, iron and small ironing board in the laundry room. One set of bed linens per bed, four pillows per bed, one bath and one hand towel per guest. Deck / Patio: A couple of loungers, four armchairs, two collapsible 'camp' chairs, a couple of beach chairs. Umbrella and small table for deck. The space 3589 Shirley Ave. (Bear Foot Lodge) is unique in the fact that we offer all recreational equipment, at no extra fee. Our cabin offers a touch of a unique western atmosphere with modern amenities and a view of the mountains. Conveniently located just below Heavenly Valley Ski Resort, 4 blocks to the beach, 3 blocks to fine restaurants, and walking distance to casino's, Heavenly Village and a shopping mall. A touch of the ol' west with modern décor. Included in your hideaway is a 43 inch HD TV, WiFi, Spa and Gazebo, built in stone BBQ, and a stone surround wood burning fireplace. All bedroom sets are new and have new queen size MEMORY FOAM bedding. For the summer months included are 2 Double Kayaks with hand tow and roof rack and 6 Bicycle's. The kitchen is fully operational with all the things needed for a long stay. All dishes, pots and pans, glasses are all new. Guest are to wear safety equipment at all times while operating recreational equipment. Guest shall report any equipment that is faulty, need of repair or missing safety equipment. Guest shall operate such recreational equipment and spa at their own risk and hold owners harmless now and in the future for any injury caused by negligent use, operating malfunctioned equipment, carelessness, operating in a manner that is not consistent with safety or consideration of the safety of others. By booking your stay you will abide by all of these rules. By booking your stay, the guest will not hold the host liable for any injury related to the use of the recreational equipment. I cannot stress this enough. If you are outside making noise after 10pm the cops will be called. I don’t know who calls them but there are a lot of homes in the neighborhood. They just started allowing renters again after it was overturned in court so people are going to be on edge. If the cops come, the cost is $1,000 fine for you and $1,000 for me. You will absolutely pay my fine. I am not paying the fine. We haven’t rented for 5 years because of the local law and we aren’t willing to just turn a blind eye to damages and fines. You will be held accountable. Don’t make noise after 10pm and don’t go in the hot tub after 10pm. Thank you kindly!

This cozy and modern chalet is a bit of peace and quiet in a very centrally located neighborhood. Updated kitchen and bathrooms with a rustic cabin feel. We're adding more comfortable furniture and artwork gradually, so not all pictures might be accurate but hopefully it's better than pictured! Family oriented home that sleeps 6 comfortably and 8 for those that don't mind sleeping in the loft. There's one bedroom with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. Down the hall from the entry way is a dedicated workspace. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a twin loft and trundle. Next to the rooms upstairs is another full bathroom with bath tub. And just outside that, is a nice sized loft (with two accent chairs that convert to sleeper cushions). This is a great space for families and small groups of friends. This cabin has been in our family for over 46 years and is ready for you and your family to create wonderful memories in beautiful SLT. NO PETS ALLOWED, NO EXCEPTIONS. Primary renter must be over 25 years old. Thank you. The space Greetings! Our family cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, about 1400 sq. ft. and has been recently remodeled in many areas. It' s a two story home, with a few flights of stairs needed to take to access the house. Nearly fully stocked kitchen, no need to bring equiptmnet for cooking and serving. Do bring your own special spices/ingredients, if needed. There is ample driveway parking. There is a bear box on the property (dark brown metal container with a "key" located on the right side of box, near the beginning of driveway). The cabin has a relatively large backyard with a semi-covered deck with seating and a picnic table. The backyard is not fully enclosed as the driveway is not fenced. We do have close neighbors that live behind the house and to the right of the house and they have some dogs you might hear. The fireplace isn't in working condition and cannot be used at this time. We do have a Nest thermostat (central heating) that is digital and can be adjusted to your liking at any time. We also have a Yale door lock system that requires a code (4 digit number we will provide on the morning of your arrival) to be entered for access to the home. The location is very ideal for walking around to nearby restaurants, Whole Foods, Boba Tea, Alpine Bakery, Lake Tahoe and much more! Enjoy the beauty of South Lake Tahoe! The master bedroom is upstairs with king size bed, 1 1/2 bathrooms and a guest room with two queen beds.
