During the off season a property manager stays there. We have a private fishing pond on the street and also access to the river with complimentary use of kayaks at the end of the property. Large tented weddings are hosted by family member next door so this is the ideal place for wedding guests to rent if they are attending wedding. You’ll love my place because of the views. The location is one house back from Humarock Beach and the outdoor space is generous. There is ample parking which is rare by the beach. We are also close to wedding reception sites like the Red Lion Inn located in Cohasset and The River Club in Scituate. A perfect year round getaway! The space This home is a single house divided into two units. We are renting it as a complete full-house for the summer season. It includes two full kitchens, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a half bath. There is a washer and dryer on each level. The living areas feature smart TVs and high-speed internet. It offers a huge rear deck, a front porch with rocking chairs, and a beautiful upstairs deck with sweeping ocean views—perfect for watching passing boats or simply unwinding on summer days. Guest access Upon finalizing the rental agreement guests will have access to the house via lockbox. The code will be provided once the rental is confirmed. If instead, you're a guest at a wedding or event at Scituate Country Club, you are literally only a few steps around the corner. For beach lovers, our location offers easy access to several beautiful local spots. Rexhame Beach in Marshfield is just about a 20-minute drive away. The parking fees are $15 on weekdays and $20 on weekends. Nantasket Beach, also about 20 minutes in the opposite direction, features a lively boardwalk with restaurants. Parking is $15 for Massachusetts plates and $40 for out-of-state plates. Be sure to arrive early on weekends as spots fill up quickly. If you're up for a little walk, you can park at Cole Parkway in Scituate Harbor and stroll across the bridge to the public side of Peggotty Beach. Alternatively, you can try for one of the four non-resident parking spots at Peggotty Beach, but you'll need to get there early. We’re also within walking distance of the private side of Peggotty Beach, which is rockier, so we recommend visiting during low tide for the best experience. For a quieter option, there’s free parking near the lighthouse with a small, rocky beach. Minot Beach in North Scituate also offers three non-resident spots. If you plan to bring food or beverages, please remember that glass is not allowed, and koozies are recommended for cans.

Enjoy your next getaway at our Beach Bungalow! Just steps to the North River, a minute walk to the resident beach, in a quiet, friendly neighborhood + a short drive to restaurants and activities! Looking to getaway in the off season? Everything is new including HVAC, tankless instant hot water, shingled roof, cedar shingle siding, and more! Enjoy Humarock year round! The space The bungalow is a perfect beach space. Deceivingly small from the street; inside there is a galley living and kitchen with a lofted bed space above the kitchen. High ceilings in the front area of the house adorn fans, recess lighting and speakers, underneath is a couch and two chairs in front of TV with basic cable and Netflix option. A series of used books great for reading at the beach are in the corner behind the door. No stairs are necessary to use the two bedrooms on either side of the bathroom. The kitchen has all that you need to cook and enjoy your meals and save some for later. A small washer and dryer are in the back corner of the kitchen area for quick and small loads of laundry. Two doors off the kitchen space lead out to a small patio with plenty of chairs for relaxing and a table with umbrella should you choose to enjoy eating outside. Off the left of the patio is the "bunk house". The bunk house is about the size of a shed, completely insulated with a full size bed, lighting, a/c and heating unit, and a small stand to place any belongings. Here we also store our kayak paddles. Kayaks are available to use upon request (a secondary waiver is required to use these). Off the right of the patio are three kayaks. Around the corner you will find our gas grill and outdoor shower. Additional beach equipment, beach toys, cooler, chairs and umbrellas can be found in the bins on the sides of the house. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property. Other things to note We are by the Marshfield / Scituate line so you are a short drive from a ton of restaurants and activities! We will send details for check-in day of or 24 hours in advance. We have a code to access the house and prefer to provide that closer to the time of check-in. The cottage is older at the core so there are some quirks but none that should greatly impact your stay. Please leave your cat at home. The space This historic vacation home was built from 1922 through 1927 from salvaged ship parts. Seven woods make up the first floor, and a gem-filled shell design is set into penny-round ceramic decorating the bathroom floor. The living room chairs are soft and comfy, and there's a screened-in front porch with wicker furniture for enjoying night breezes and sounds. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed. Upstairs there are 2 beds, a twin and a double. Feather pillows and soft cotton blankets and sheets make sleeping heavenly. The Speed Queen washer and dryer are in the basement with detergent & dryer sheets. This page of history is the only structure on the street to survive the September 1938 Great New England Hurricane and Long Island Express, one of the most deadly and destructive cyclones ever to hit the coast. Framed between pieces of glass on the walls are interesting pages of 1927 newspaper that the original builder used as insulation around the oversized 6' x 3' windows. Just switch on the picture light over each sheet and read at your leisure. The frame then can be flipped to see the other side. The kitchen has an old-fashioned 42" cast iron farmer's sink, complete with a Boraxo soap dispenser for hand washing. Electric stove/oven. The original 1922 owner/builder was bachelor Captain Charles W Keene who until his passing on April 15, 1948, called his home "Sea Breeze," and the neighborhood "White's Ferry." Charles's father Martin worked at the Charlestown Navy Yard, and his grandfather was the infamous landowner and shipbuilder Benjamin Keene. Charles's grandmother was Suzanna Church. The space This 650 square feet unit is completely furnished with one bedroom, living room with private deck, an eat-in-kitchen and bathroom. Access to grill, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and some floats. The unit has two separate entrances, and a deck for relaxing after a day at the beach. Host lives onsite, and is easily assessable. Guest access The Guests will have access to one bedroom, living room, kitchen, private bath and back deck, as well exclusive use of the back yard area. Come & enjoy New England summer getaway! This hidden gem is located in HUMAROCK part of the seaside town of Marshfield. So many amenities to  enjoy~ beach is a close walk away along with great shops and restaurants, Bridgewaye and Voyager are the local favorites. Lots of sight seeing close by in Plymouth. This cozy one bedroom with kitchenette, (no stove ) queen size bed and pullout sofa, hardwood floors ,central air, open feel with gorgeous views! Escape here and take a break or work remote.

Guest suite near the beach

My home is large and peaceful. The guest room is a sunny, private room that has wood floors and an antique full sized bed with a beauty rest mattress. The private full bath is across the hall. It has a large closet and bureau, Wi-Fi. ceiling fan and TV. The entire house is climate controlled with central air conditioning. It’s the perfect place for 1 or 2 travelers together to see Boston / Cape Cod. I also have a second room with a full size bed. (Available for the second person if needed). The space My home is very close to the highway to Boston (north) or Cape Cod (south). The one mile drive from the expressway takes you to a rural setting of executive style homes in "Eagle Nest Estates". The winding road toward my house passes a fully stocked fresh water pond thats excellent for fishing and kayaking in summer and ice skating in winter. My backyard is enourmous with many gardens and birdfeeders. I abutt several dozen acres of conservation land and walikng trails. Guest access My guest will have access to the entire yard and all the area has to offer. I have many areas to read, picnic or just watch the grass grow. It is a private place to relax and maybe listen to music on the outdoor speakers while having a glass of your favorite beverage. During your stay I take in interest in making all of my friends and guests feel at home. If that means spending time with them , Im happy to do that. I also respect the privacy of each guest to do as they please without any interferrence. Other things to note Please have a profile page completed before you request to stay. I like knowing a little bit about the guests staying with me in my home. I like knowing why the guests are coming before I accept the reservation. Although I am not on (crowded) Cape Cod, we do have some of the nicest beaches and restaurants on the south coast. Marshfield is one of the most historic towns around.
