The space Sailor's Cottage has been recently renovated and decorated in nautical and historical themes. There are two floors of living space with wood floors throughout. FIRST FLOOR Great Room- The front door entry leads to the kitchen/great room with a large farmhouse dining table seating 10-12. Adjacent and open to the main dining area is a full sized kitchen with a breakfast island seating an additional 3-4. There is an antique coffee/beverage bar and a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator. Enclosed Porch- Just off the kitchen is a 3-season porch surrounded by windows on 3 sides. There is a twin-sized day-bed. It’s a perfect spot to chat and enjoy a cocktail or a good book before dinner. The sun porch opens to the patio for outside cooking, dining, or just hanging out. The Grill on the patio is ‘dual-fuel’ and so can be used with propane gas (provided) or charcoal depending on your preference. Adjacent to the patio is a propane fire table and chairs, a hammock and Adirondack chairs. Den -Also on the first floor you’ll find a den with a flat screen TV (47"), books, and games. The den includes a queen-sized sleeper sofa and the room closes off from the hall office with a sliding barn door entrance. Office- Next to the den is an office area with a drop front antique desk, chairs and a convenient shelf with USB ports for charging your mobile devices. Living Room- Just past the office there’s a large cozy living room with a second flat screen TV (55”) with DVD player, assorted DVDs, two cushy sofas, an ottoman, small dining table and chairs and large coffee table and library area. First Floor Bath- There is also a full bathroom (bath and shower) off the first floor hallway and a full size washer and dryer laundry closet. An ironing board and iron are also provided. SECOND FLOOR Staircases from each end of the first floor lead to the second floor. - Master Bedroom- The spacious bright master bedroom features a King sized bed, a large closet, 2 dressers, a full length mirror, windows on 3 sides, extra pillows and blankets, white noise machine, and blackout shades. -Midship Room- The second bedroom, which sleeps 4, has a bunk bed with Full sized double bed on bottom of the bunk and Twin on the top bunk. There is also an additional Twin XL bed on the other side of the room, a closet, dresser, chair, extra pillows and blankets, white noise machine, and blackout shades. -Queen room- The third bedroom has a Queen sized bed and is located at the top of the second staircase. There is a closet and dresser, chair, extra pillows and blankets, white noise machine, and blackout shades. -Second Floor Bath- The second bath is located off the hall between the Master and Midship bedrooms. This is a full bathroom with tub and shower. OUTDOOR AREA- The large front yard is a great place for the family to get together for a game of croquet or badminton (sets are provided), or other outside activities. Behind the house there are landscaped stone paths to our spacious enclosed outdoor cedar shower which is available for use weather permitting; typically May-Oct. The shower has hot and cold water, and a rainfall fixture; and is especially great after a morning run or a day at the beach. Guest access The entire home and large yard are available for guests. This newly renovated colonial is just a few minutes walk from Dock Square. It's lovely, airy interior is filled with antiques and modern touches. With 3 cozy bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps 7. The breezy open living area is the perfect spot for you, your family and guests to relax after a day at the beach, shopping or sightseeing. The private outdoor dining area is surrounded by gardens, shaded by umbrellas and has a gas fire pit for making memories after the sun goes down. The space I've stayed around the world in Airbnbs since 2009 when I first worked for the company, and this one of the best experiences I've ever had! This house and the host, Robin, are what the founders had in mind when they started Airbnb. Robin is responsive, thorough, and so kind with every interaction you have with her. The house itself feels like a real home with pictures, unique decor, comfy blankets, etc. You don't find a place like this by staying in a hotel. We had everything we needed and more- The pack n' play, plenty of towels, and don't get me started on the snack trays! As a nursing mom this was ESPECIALLY appreciated. The beds were comfortable, AC worked well, and it's a very quick walk into town. We even saw a family of ducklings cross the road on our way in. This beautiful 3 bed 2.5 bath home features a well-equipped kitchen, complimentary finishes, hot tub and back deck, and beds for 8 people. Whether you're walking along the sidewalk into historic Kennebunkport, or heading to the scenic Gooch's beach for the day, our location makes it easy to enjoy all that the area has to offer. The space The house is perfect for groups of 8 or less, with easy access to both Kennebunkport and Gooch's beach. The home is updated, yet retains its classic New England look with original hardwood floors, plenty of wood finishes, and Maine accent pieces. There are 3 bedrooms each equipped with heating and cooling, and 2.5 baths with a full tub and washer dryer combo. The back deck is spacious and set up perfectly for an outdoor dinner, with a table and grill. The main house, including the kitchen, living room (also equipped with heating and cooling), dining room, and washer/dryer half bath are on the first floor. While the bedrooms and full baths encompass the second. The master bedroom is the highlight of the upstairs with exposed beams, a vaulted ceiling, and a tiled shower and floor. The downstairs holds its classic New England character with its 100+ year old flooring, built in pantry, and pine ceiling. There is enough parking for 4+ cars, and a small backyard to enjoy. We do want to note that this property is older, and therefor has some features that might not be suitable for all parties. The steps going upstairs are steeper and shallower than a modern build and might be difficult for some individuals. Also, the property does abut a small graveyard on one side. In addition, the backyard has not fully grown in, as we are in the process of replanting grass over the septic tank and field. Lastly we want to note that the house is on a main road into town, and busier than a neighborhood setting. Guest access Enjoy the whole house to yourself, with easy access through our front door or mudroom entrance and parking for 4+ cars. The basement is locked as well as a storage closet in the downstairs bath.

This home belonged to my grandmother and has loads of personality. It has been recently updated while still preserving its charm. Fast internet, new AC, all the necessities in the kitchen, new bedding, and a relaxing outdoor space! The location is perfect. Walk to the best the area has to offer or spend the day just 1 mile away at the beach (parking pass included) or unwind and relax on the deck or patio and enjoy a gorgeous view of the Drift Roses when in season. Cheers to making memories! The space located in the heart of Lower Village Kennebunk, close to all the area has to offer while still providing a sunny retreat with a relaxing outdoor space. The location is an easy 5 minuet walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. This eliminates paying for parking downtown. Also nice sidewalks to provide a safe walk to the beach just 1 mile away, or take advantage of the included Beach pass when its needed for Kennebunk Beaches only (can not be used in neighboring towns). I have beach towels, Sunscreen, chairs, Beach Umbrella and cooler for my guests to use. With space for 3 cars in the paved driveway, The front yard/garden, deck, and sea shell patio area are all included in this rental as your private space. I may need occasional access to the garage or the yard just to do maintenance such as mowing and tending the plants. But I try to coordinate this for when my guests are out enjoying other activities. I also provide a variety of necessitys you may have forgotten or don't want to travel with such as shampoo/soap and a hair dryer and of course towels. I also try to keep the kitchen stocked as well with spices and olive oil and fresh local ground coffee! Things to keep in mind! THIS RENTAL DOES NOT INCLUDE A WASHER AND DRYER FOR GUEST USE. However the Village Laundromat is mere steps away in the Village Marketplace plaza across the street. also NO DISHWASHER. As it's an older home, the stairs to the second floor are steeper then mondern day stairs. Bedrooms are on the second floor as well as a full bathroom. there are no tubs, just showers. I welcome children however at this time I don't offer any special child safety equipment such as baby gates, cabinet locks, booster seat or stroller. You are welcome to bring whatever you need to provide a safe experience for your family. The one thing i did just recently purchased is a Pack -n-Play. please let me know if you would like this to be available for your stay. (Available by request only) .I would provide a clean fitted sheet for it. Things such as cleaning supplies are kept in the entryway where the door can be shut to keep little ones out. Cable TV is NOT available But the internet is very fast and there are streaming services on the Fire TV equipped with Alexa remote for easy searching. My Prime is available for guests to use or log into your own Netflix or other streaming service. BUT PLEASE DON'T MAKE PURCHASES ON MY ACCOUNT! The home features New AC units in each bedroom and a larger unit in the living room downstairs. Last years guests reported that this worked very well to keep the space comfortable. I have also been making upgrades with new Beds, rugs, bedding, some fresh paint and wall treatments. The upstairs Bathroom had a makeover! However this home is not a Luxury vacation home. I have kept it authentic to my Grandmother's taste and love that I can provide a clean, unique and affordable opportunity for guests to stay in a prime location! The bedrooms are modest in size, but are well appointed and have individually controlled AC units. The pale blue bedroom is the “master” and has a queen bed and reading nook. The pale green room has a queen, and is accessed by walking through the bedroom with 2 single (Twin XL) beds. Therefore, the layout is best suited for families and close friends.
