This provides 8-12 hours of swim time per day. • Spa/Hot Tub: The in-ground spa can be heated free of charge using the provided control panel. PETS Do we allow pets? Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets of any kind. Any violation of this house rule will result in a non-refundable $500 fine. PARTIES We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours are enforced. Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am, no music should be played outside during this period, and voices/sounds should be kept low to ensure neighbors are not disturbed. Any excessive noise or partying could result in local security being dispatched and vacating you from the property. We, the hosts, live nearby in case of any emergency. SMOKING Please refrain from smoking anywhere on the property. Any smoking evidence will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees. SANITATION The health, safety, and wellbeing of our guests are of utmost importance to us. For this reason, we use a thorough process of cleaning after each check-out. Revival Room: This is an introvert’s paradise! I made this room for me, actually, and it’s set in such a way that you can almost stay in there indefinitely until you’ve had enough coffee to face the world. I found the world’s smallest fridge to add the coffee bar just so I could keep my cream in there for the mornings. With its own private patio, you can read or sunbathe all by yourself until you’re ready to face the world. Also includes a crib and a private workspace! Mario Room: Here’s where the grandkids will have a blast with 3 arcade games heighted for kids to enjoy, AND a retro Super Nintendo to teach your kids and grandkids about the glories of Super Mario 1,2,3 AND Super Mario World and Kart! With 2 full beds and 2 singles, you can create memories for those kids which will last a life time! Canada Room: Being Canadian, we sure had fun putting this one together to give honour to our homeland. Enjoy the full mural of the Saddledome and Calgary Tower, and the homage to Tim Hortons! Look for the switch in this room called “Meet Joe from Canada.” Try to flip it at night for full effect! Mexico Room: This room has a full private ensuite and 2 pull out chairs which transform into small beds. These chairs are really meant for small children, and I wouldn’t recommend them for adults! Be swept away in the beachy feel of Mexico and look out for the switch called “Siesta to Fiesta”! My girls slept in this room when we were there, and I enjoyed using that switch as a wake up call for them in the morning. They, however, did not enjoy that! LOL We were so drawn to this house because of the intensely private backyard. When we walked through, we noted that you can’t view the backyard from any window anywhere on the property! (Then my son, the joy-kill, found one singular spot, way in the corner of the property, where no one would ever go, which, actually, one window could view) but other than that, complete, and total privacy! The backyard at night, is basically our Opus! We lit it up to be warm comfortable and inviting! The outdoor kitchen and table for 10 outside was a dream when I first saw it. I could envision the incredible al fresco dining that could happen there! We entertained a lot while staying this house and sometimes had a house full of 18-20 people! This helped us to understand what would be needed to cook for many people. We added an additional freezer for endless popsicles for the kids and also 2 washers and 2 dryers so you could keep on top of all the pool towels! Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am! Enjoy a backyard oasis with a large (non-heated) pool, waterslide, spa, basketball court, putting green, and fire table. We can’t wait to host you! The space Newly Updated home inside and out. Inside the home you will find the games room when you walk in to your right, which has a foosball table, TV to watch sports or hook up your gaming system. You can also use this TV to connect your laptop for your zoom calls. There is a nice space if you need to get some work done in this room as well. The dining room seats 10 people, great for family meals or corporate meetings as you can see the TV from this room. The newly renovated Kitchen has everything you need to for your stay, double wall oven, large fridge with ice maker, dishwasher and cooktop. While cooking, people can gather around the kitchen island that seats 5 people. The kitchen nook seats 6 people. The living room is a great spot to kick up your feet and relax on the large sectional. Trust me when I say, once you sit down on here you won't want to get up! Lay back and watch some sports, curl up as a family and watch movies or be in the kitchen cooking while watching TV. We've hosted a corporate event in this home and hired a chef to cook dinner and the entire main floor was perfect for this all day team building event! The backyard is most likely where you will spend most of your time while in our home. You can sit under the covered patio in the mornings to enjoy your coffee, lounge in the sitting area and watch TV, shoot some hoops on our basketball court, challenge a friend on the putting green, lounge by the pool on the sun chairs, enjoy the pool and it's water feature and slide, relax in the spa or enjoy the fire table in the evenings. POOL: The Slide/ Waterfall are on from 9am-4pm daily. -The Pool is not heated, so from mid October until early May the water is chilly. This is all dependant on personal preference. -The pool is deep where the water feature and slide are. There isn't a fence surrounding it. Please be aware of this when bringing children as they must be supervised at all times. However, we do have child locks on all of the doors leading to the backyard. -The way the pool equipment is set up, you can only have the slide/waterfall on or the spa on. They can't both be on at the same time. SPA: -The spa is heated Monday- Friday from 6pm-10pm and Saturday to Sunday 5pm-10pm. -During cooler months, the spa may not heat up to a comfortable temperature. If the ambient temperature is below 60F, the spa will not heat up. You can easily access golf courses, hiking trails, sporting events, shopping, and some amazing restaurants. There are some great restaurants in downtown Gilbert, Tempe and Old Town. If you happen to be here on a Saturday, downtown Gilbert has a great Farmers' Market to enjoy in the morning. Some places we love to visit when we are in town are the following: -Kierland Commons which has some great shopping, restaurants and a splash park for the kids to enjoy! -Family friendly attractions include the Arizona Boarwalk which has the Odysea Aquarium, Butterfly Wonderland, Cyberquest Arcade and Museum of Illusions. In the early 1890’s, thousands of acres in Mesa and the surrounding area were planted with oranges, lemons and grapefruit. In 1931, the Salt River Valley Citrus Fair was started right here in Mesa. (Later on it was combined with the Maricopa County Fair). During World War II, Falcon Field was established as a Military Airport to train American pilots and the British Royal Air Force. This property was built on one of these old orange groves that surrounded that airport. Note: Between this home and the airport there is still a large orange grove. We are a block away from what is now the small general aviation airport (Falcon Field) - which has its own air museum, the Commemorative Air Force Airbase, with amazing airplanes and history. They always have events happening as well. Across the street is a quaint little store and boutique called the Orange Patch (Too) where you can purchase local honey, oranges, pastries, and other delicious citrus delicacies from the products from the groves that still exist in the area. We have amazing weather in the winter and spring months, so there are always Golf tournaments, especially Phoenix’ famous Waste management tournament. There’s also lots of spring training as 5 MLB teams travel here as well. Across the street is Gene Autry Park which hosts several baseball/ pickle ball/tennis tournaments and Legacy Sports Complex, minutes away, brings traveling teams here all year long. Orange Grove is a very close drive to the Salt River where wild horses can be spotted along the waterfront and people come from all over to tube down the river in the summertime. The outside features everything you need for rest and recreation, including a sparkling blue swimming pool and a beautiful outdoor dining area. There’s plenty of parking on the private driveway, which means you’re never more than a few steps from the front door. You’ll also have access to our laundry room, which includes three full-sized washing machines and three dryers.
