A dedicated workspace in a private room offers a quiet spot to focus when needed. Sleeping arrangements The cabin comfortably sleeps up to ten guests across four bedrooms. One bedroom features a double bed. Two bedrooms each include twin-over-queen bunk beds, ideal for families or mixed-age groups. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds. Bed linens, extra pillows, and blankets are provided to keep everyone comfortable through cooler nights. Bathrooms Guests have access to one newly renovated full bathroom along with an additional half bath located upstairs. Bathroom essentials are provided for convenience. Kitchen & dining The kitchen is fully equipped and set up for preparing meals together after a day of exploring. Don’t worry about bringing a thing for cooking as we offer a fully stocked kitchen. We also have a dog friendly space for your pup to enjoy, gas grill, and plenty of seating on the large deck. The great room’s glass door, huge picture window, and deck create the sense being being outside, even while cozy inside. The space Access to this ski chalet is just four steps down to entry level, which makes for easy arrival and unpacking.   Please review the listing photos carefully. Features of this traditional chalet have been updated with a modern look, but it retains its original rustic mountain charm. It’s semi-secluded location at the end of a cul-de-sac is perfect for families and groups that want quiet, ample space to play outside, and convenience to local amenities. Sleeps up to 10 comfortably.  FEATURES & AMENITIES: The Chalet's open great room includes a dining area and living room with a gas log fireplace. The patio door opens to a deck in the trees - convenient for fixing dinner on the gas grill and dining at the picnic table. The kitchen, located adjacent to the great room & dining area, includes updated appliances, basic cookware, tableware, a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind), and a Keurig machine (please bring your favorite K-cups). The dining area seats six at the table and another four at the kitchen bar. The main floor also includes two bedrooms, both with queen beds, and hallway full bathroom. The second bedroom has a desk, lamp, and chair -- just in case work interrupts your getaway.   Head upstairs to a spacious loft with four twin beds that overlook the great room's huge windows, which sliding glass door access to it's own balcony.   Head down stairs to a large living area with comfy furnishings, more large windows for gazing into the woods, a 50" smart TV, and a game table. For those engrossed in a big game or movie, the mini-fridge and microwave oven mean you won't miss a thing when grabbing a frosty beverage or heating up some snacks. The short hallway off the living area leads to another bedroom with queen bed, a utility room stocked with games and full-size washer & dryer, and another full bathroom.   The chalet is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. Illegal substances and activities are prohibited. ✹ ROAD CONDITIONS - We are located on beautiful Bryce Mountain with narrow and windy roads. Like many other mountain homes, our driveway is steep. We highly recommend a 4-wheel drive, particularly in the winter. Drive carefully! ✹ RENTAL AGREEMENT - Upon booking, guests will be required to sign a property rental agreement with the house rules. No door codes or property address will be given without this. ✹ PET POLICY - We allow a maximum of 2 house-trained, well-behaved dogs that are vaccinated and tick/flea-free for a flat fee of $125. Pets must be disclosed to us at the time of booking (there is a $500 fee if we find any undisclosed animals). Pets are not allowed on any furniture or the hot tub. Any pets left home alone must be in a crate. By booking, you accept responsibility for any damage, pest control, extra cleaning, or liability your dog(s) cause during the stay. Please include your pet when booking or contact us with any questions. **Neighborhood & Wildlife** Our home is in a peaceful, wooded mountain community. Please respect our neighbors and keep outdoor noise to a minimum after 11 PM. Deer, bears, insects and other wildlife are occasionally present. We recommend bringing bug spray during warmer months and keeping patio doors closed. Street parking is not permitted by the HOA. On-property parking is available. **Trash** Please bag all trash and place it in the designated trash cans behind the house. Please do not leave loose trash outdoors, as it can attract wildlife. **Games & Books** Board games and books are available for you to enjoy during your stay. Please return them when finished so future guests can enjoy them too. **Linens & Starter Supplies** Bed linens and towels are provided. We also provide starter supplies including toilet paper, kitchen towels, laundry detergent, trash bags, coffee, tea and soaps. **Before Checkout** Please place dirty dishes and utensils in the dishwasher before departure. **Security Cameras** Exterior security cameras are located at the front porch, side driveway and main deck. Beautifully renovated home in the mountains, with amazing views and direct access to Lake Laura. Step off the deck for a 3-mile hike around the lake or to use Bryce Beach and Boat Rental. Located at Bryce Mountain Resort, offering year-round fun including skiing, mountain biking, golf and pickleball. Easy access to Shenandoah Valley breweries, wineries, hikes, antiquing, and historic towns. Relax in the lux hot tub, on the lake front decks, or in the cozy common space with games and movies The space Spacious four bedroom, 2.5 bath home with large kitchen and open concept living/dining opening onto large, lakefront deck with hot tub, gas fire pit, picnic table, gas grill, and edison string lights. All bedrooms have lake views and roku enabled televisions. Downstairs has one large king bedroom with large closet and space for crib as well as a futon couch in the living room. Upstairs has two queen bedrooms, one with second floor deck and the other with private half bath. In addition, there is a large bunk room with equipped with queen over queen bunk bed and professional workspace. The home features hi speed wifi. All three bathrooms, the kitchen, and flooring have been fully renovated. Owners have retained the charm by restoring the original yellow pine floors in the living/dining/kitchen areas. The kitchen is fully stocked for guests who prefer to cook and eat in. The home offers level parking for 3-4 cars--a rarity in this mountain town. Access is down a short flight of stairs to the homes front door which enters the second floor where bedrooms are located. Living areas and the King Bedroom are on the first floor which features wall to wall windows and views. The yard is beautifully landscaped and offers unmatched lake views in all four seasons. The home is dog friendly with approval and paid fee ($100/dog, 2 dog maximum). THINGS TO DO Bryce Resort is a true four-season resort. Enjoy golfing, skiing, tubing, iceskating, the mountain bike park, pickleball, fishing, and, of course, everything else Lake Laura has to offer. The resort also offers dining at the Copper Kettle Restaurant Wed-Sunday, and a daily grill during ski and golf season. Within a five minute drive, guests can also enjoy Pale Fire Brewery, the Burn Barrel Restaurant, R House Restaurant, and Smiley's Ice Cream and Minature Golf. During the Summer, enjoy a unique dining experience at Shrine Mont retreat in Orkney Springs and/or book tickets for the Summer Shenandoah Festival Music series at Shrine Mont Pavilion. Further afield, visit wineries including, Cave Ridge, Wolf Gap, Third Hill, Muse, North Mountain. For apple picking in season and hard cider tasting and amazing views all year round, try Showalter's Orchard. For breweries, visit Pale Fire, Swover Creek, and Woodstock Brew House. We recommend insuring your trip in the winter months when there can be harsh weather. There are about 10 stairs leading from the parking area down to the property. There are about 20 stairs from the back deck down to the hot tub/fire pit area. Parking - we can easily accommodate 3 vehicles. 4 is a bit snug, but it can be done. If you have more than 4 vehicles coming we recommend carpooling to ensure adequate parking as there is no street parking available. Pets are welcome for an additional $125 fee per booking. Maximum of 2 pets per reservation.

It's located about 2.5 miles from the Resort’s main lodge and ski/bike lifts, and less than a mile from Burn Barrel tavern, Pale Fire Brewing, RHouse cafe, and the Basye Community Store. This property is exceptional for families and friends looking for a classy, authentic log cabin vacation experience.  FEATURES & AMENITIES: The large living room has huge cathedral ceilings, stunning wood floors (throughout main level), and a massive stone wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy a fire and movie night on the large flat-screen TV from the comfort of the large leather sofa and love seat. The kitchen and dining area are conveniently located within the great room - so you won't miss a second of an engaging conversation or the big game. The kitchen includes basic cookware, tableware, appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, and a drip coffee maker (K-cups and basket filters provided, but please bring your favorite roast/flavor). Anglers can fish for largemouth bass, bluegill, pumpkinseed sunfish, crappie, walleye, channel catfish, and northern pike. It takes about 8 leisurely minutes for the scenic drive from the house to the central skiing / tubing / skating / mountain biking area of the resort. There are myriad fun activities you can do without ever leaving the resort. Within 5 minutes drive from the house, we have Smiley's Ice Cream, Mini Golf, Pale Fire Brewery, Burn Barrel Restaurant, the R House and a local country store for anything you may have missed when picking up groceries on the way in. Quiet hours and other rules: While the house is in a very private location, we are committed to being respectful neighbors and ask that our guests do the same. Per Sky Bryce rules, quiet hours are from 11 PM to 7 AM. Parties or group gatherings are not allowed on the property. Smoking, weapons, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Parking: Parking spots (and the EV charger) are conveniently located directly in front of the main entryway. Three cars fit easily and a fourth can fit with a bit of squeeze. Access for guests with mobility restrictions: There is one step at entry before you come to the main level, where you find the living and dining room and kitchen as well as one bedroom and bathroom. This is a real plus in this mountain area where there are often many steps to navigate from the parking area to the home. Pet policy: Dogs are welcome for an additional $125 fee per booking. We allow a maximum of 2 house-trained, well-behaved dogs. If you forgot to list your dogs when making the booking, we can add them in advance of your arrival by contacting us on the app. Failure to disclose your dogs can result in cancelation of your reservation. Please note, dogs are not allowed on the furniture. You are responsible for cleaning up after your dogs, including proper disposal of all waste (we provide a separate poop bin). Our home has been fully renovated, with a thoughtful approach, to provide a stylish and comfortable space for your group to enjoy. The main level is open with a lot of natural light and includes the updated kitchen, dining space, living area with cozy gas fire stove and access to the deck. The bottom level provides a theater space with an 85 inch smart TV and surround sound, comfortable lounge seating for TV viewing, a table and chairs for snacks and games while watching your shows/movies. There is also access to a screened porch with seating to enjoy the peaceful mountain setting. Curl up in front of the gas fire stove with a book or cup of coffee. Or watch your shows on the new 65” smart tv. High speed Wifi is provided so you can stream your favorite shows and power your personal devices, work from the house….or just relax! You will need to login to your Netflix or streaming accounts. Cook your favorite meal in the remodeled kitchen with brand new appliances: refrigerator, gas range, microwave and dishwasher. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans, dishes, glasses, wine glasses and eating/cooking utensils, and a toaster. A Ninja coffee maker and pour-over coffee maker are provided, coffee grounds and filters are provided. The entire home has been decorated with modern, cozy design details, new furniture and new flooring through most of the home. Bedrooms: On the main level is a king bedroom and access to a full bathroom. The top level provides two bedrooms: 1 king bedroom and 1 bedroom with 3 twins (bunk bed with trundle) . One full bathroom is also located on the upper level. On the bottom floor is a 4th bedroom (queen bed) with ensuite bathroom. A 42” TV is also provided in this bedroom. All bedrooms have new foam mattresses, new pillows and linens. Ceiling fans are installed in each bedroom and two sound machines are provided (although it is very quiet and peaceful in the mountains, so you probably won’t need them!). Outside space: The deck off the main level of the home includes a propane fire table with chairs and a dining table/chairs. The bottom level of the home provides a screened porch with seating. And directly outside from the screened porch, you will find a stone patio area illuminated with market lights over a fire pit and seating to enjoy the peaceful mountain setting to make memories and perhaps s'mores with your family and friends! And newly added a 6 person hot tub perfect for soaking after a day of fun. A laundry space with full size washer and dryer is provided on the bottom level of the home. Guest access Front door has a keypad for easy access during your stay. No need to deal with keys. Your personal entry code will be emailed to you prior to your stay, as well as other check-in instructions. Ample parking is available in front of the house. The street is very private with minimal traffic. Streets are well taken care of in the winter and there is easy access to surrounding areas and the resort. Parking: There are ample parking spots available to you located in the circular driveway. Ski and snowboarding equipment can be stored in the enclosed, covered area around the back of the house. Sleep 8 comfortably and there's room for a playpen/portable crib in on of the bedrooms as well. There's room for two cars in the drive way but note that the driveway is a little steep so you can consider parking on the main road as well. Gas Grill with propane tank for your convenience. Kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, spices, oil, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and popcorn. Oven/gas range stove; refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and small appliances including kuerig machine and a drip coffee machine, toaster, crock pot, waffle maker, and an assortment of baking pans. There is no cellular service at the cabin itself but we do offer strong wifi and we're happy to provide that information to you prior to arrival. We'll have a hammack out front during warmer months. We have a spare cooler, a picnic basket, and travel lounge chairs for your convenience if you're interested in visiting lake laura for the day. We're conveniently located just a few minutes from Bryce ski resort and Lake Laura. This cabin comes with a pass for 6 people to enjoy Lake Laura for free between Memorial Day and Labor Day. There is a $25 fine for misplacing the pass, which we’ll ask guests to pay if misplaced. The cabin is also 12-15 minutes from cave ridge winery and Swover Creek Brewery. 4-wheel drive is encouraged to take to the cabin in the winter, We're immediately off a gravel road and it's .2 to the paved road. Other amenities - Two outdoor covered decks off of each floor. The upper deck is screened in and includes a large picnic table and privacy/sun blocking shades. This is part of the authentic mountain experience. We maintain regular pest control service, but occasional sightings are normal and beyond our control. Guests are encouraged to keep doors closed, food securely stored, and outdoor trash bins securely closed to avoid attracting wildlife.

Hickory house offers one King, two Queen and one full size beds with linens and towels for 8 provided. In the winter months (November - February warm cozy flannel sheets are provided). Central air conditioning and heating with supplemental wall and baseboard heating in every room along with extra blankets for cuddling on the couch are provided for those cold winter nights. For hot summer nights their are additional fans provided to keep you cool. A dehumidifier and air purifier are also provided for your comfort. Hickory House comes equipped with kitchen basics so you can whip up your favorite meal. A dishwasher is provided for easy after meal cleanup. Also, and most importantly, a Keurig with K-cups for individual coffee tastes, a large coffee carafe that makes 4 cups and a large 10 cup coffee maker for groups and a large selection of Tazo teas are provided for your caffeine fix. Basement hangout for kids and adults with foosball table, games, and a wet bar, BluRay and DVD movies, board games, Atari, Turbografx, Nintendo and Sega video games are sure to keep you and your family and friends entertained. A SmartTV with access to a Roku and an AppleTV are provided on the main floor and an AppleTV and a BluRay player are provided on the larger basement SmartTV (use your own accounts) for late night binging! On the main floor a Amazon echo is provided for music streaming (use your own accounts). Hickory House is a place for an unplugged vacation but if you must - High speed (150mbs) WiFi is provided! A gas grill and a gas fire pit for making evening memories and enjoying s’mores a are provided. A gas tank is provided with the grill and fire pit along with a spare, but there is no guarantee that the tank will have gas in it. Each guest is requested to fill it up if it is empty or becomes empty during their stay. We will refund you the cost of the refill. Cleaning We have fully implemented Airbnb's 5-step enhanced cleaning protocols. These include: 1)	Scheduling gaps between guests 2)	Ventilating rooms before and during cleaning 3)	Washing all linens at the highest heat setting 4)	Cleaning and disinfecting all hard surfaces with special attention to high-touch items Our housekeeper is highly experienced, and it shows in our reviews A few items to note: 1)	All bedding, linen and towels are provided. 2)	Free use of full size washer and dryer is provided. 3)	The driveway has room for 3 vehicles and parking on the front yard is available for a 4th vehicle. Please do not park on the street as you will be ticketed. 4)	There is no cable or satellite TV provided. Use the SmartTVs, AppleTV, and Roku to access your favorite streaming services (use your own accounts). 5) The cleaning fee does not include trash and recycling service. Guests will need to take all trash and recycling to the local drop off location (address in house book) when they checkout. See item 6) for the exception to this rule. Trash drop off is closed to drive service in on Thursdays and opens at 1pm on Sundays. However, walk-in drop off is allowed when drive in service is not available. 6) Guests checking out on Sunday or Monday may leave their trash and recycling in the outdoor trash cans at the cabin provided all trash, including kitchen trash bags are placed in no more than 2 large black trash bags per trash can. No loose trash or recycling can be left, everything must be bagged. Mountain trash collection is done by a pickup truck and they will only take a max of two trash bags per can. If you have more trash than will fit in the 2 bags per can you will need to take the excess to the trash drop off site. Guest access Entire Chalet (except owners storage closet) is for guests. Other things to note Chalet has thin walls and lots of open space so sound does travel between rooms. Sheets and linens are provided and will be freshly cleaned and put on the beds before you arrive. All you need to bring is food, clothing, and personal items. Gas Grill cleaning is not included in cleaning fee. Guests will need to clean the grill before and after use.
