If you are traveling with another family or with a group larger than 10, you may wish to inquire about the upstairs apartment which sleeps an additional 4 guests. Other things to note Please do not deduct stars, if you are kind enough to review post-stay, for things which were disclosed prior to you deciding to book such as: 1) As are many homes located in central coastal San Diego, we are in the flight path of the San Diego International Airport, which is located smack in the center of downtown's high rise buildings. If you are flying into San Diego for the first time, you will enjoy a unique experience by looking out the windows as you approach the airport! As such, we have gone the extra mile and installed triple pane windows throughout, which creates a very effective sound barrier while inside. However you should expect to notice the planes coming and going overhead, when you are outside. Before long the mind typically adjusts and no longer pays attention to the sounds.. But if you think hearing the planes while outside will deter from your having a 5-star stay, it might be better to book inland a bit further. 2) We are within 1 mile of SeaWorld, which often puts on elaborate firework shows on holiday and summer weekend nights mostly. Most guests really love to watch, as they are visible over the rooftops across the street. However fireworks are loud, so if you plan to spend evenings outside during these displays, I wouldn't want you or your fuzzy family member to be caught off guard. 3) Hot tubs are wonderful but do have some special rules associated with safety and keeping the water fresh and clean. If you plan to utilize the hot tub during your stay, you will be required to adhere to all associated rules. These rules are included in your detailed check in instructions, which will be emailed to you the day prior to check in. 4) If your group is looking to stay up late into the night hanging out on the patio, or is simply known to contain loud members, this is likely not the best property for you. Our patio closes at 10pm on work nights and 11pm on non work nights and we are committed to our neighbors enjoying a peaceful living situation. 5) We provide an extraordinarily wide array of consumables and linens, which is costly. As a result, we charge an extra free for each guest in excess of 6. Therefore, it is essential that you put the correct number of people and pets in your booking search at the onset so that you end up with the correct booking price. Unregistered pets or guests will lead to uncomfortable confrontations. Please help us help you avoid that, and have a fantastic stay. 6) While having off-street parking is a very important amenity to offer in our area, it is definitely not our best amenity. Our parking lot is graded a bit awkwardly and as such it can require a bit more effort and patience to maneuver in and out of. Tall humans will not be comfortable sleeping on them. This 3 bd/2.25 ba beach house exudes fun with its colorful style and open floorplan with what is arguably one of the most beautiful bay views in all of Mission Beach with white sand and blue water out front and then the little unexpected surprise of bright, light city views in the back.   Enjoy your days lounging on the large wrap-around, water front deck with lots of patio seating, or take a 2-block stroll and hang out on the ocean front or another block to Belmont Park. The gas BBQ on the deck lets you get your grill on while enjoying the view and is still close enough to the kitchen to refill your drink without burning the burgers.   Not in a grilling mood? The kitchen has all top end appliances, ice maker in the fridge, gas stove top, built-in microwave, service for 8 and seating for 8. And, for those who don’t want to do laundry on vacation (because, really, who does?) the car is close by in the single car driveway or garage complete with a ramp leading to it so you can just wheel those clothes to the car at the end of your stay.
