Welcome to Villa Maria Antoinette, a former carriage house built in 1896. The home was lovingly renovated over a 14-year period, ensuring its historic charm, which now provides a lovely family retreat near the lake. Walk to the beach or ride the Kal Haven trail a block away. Our oversized yard offers a patio, fire pit, hammock, swing, outdoor kitchen and theatre, porch swing and chairs. Relax and be transported back to simpler times in our beautiful and friendly gem of a city, South Haven. The space Attached photos display lovely sunset and water views from the master suite and lovely historic touches throughout the home. In 2023, we will be removing the twin beds formerly found in bedroom 4 to a queen bedroom. Additionally, the twin bed in the tandem room will be switched to a bunk bed, allowing for 15 guests in total. Photos will become available once rooms are Guest access The home's interior and exterior are available with the exception of the master suite closet, upper china cabinet and all garden vegetation. Our green house and garden plants are strictly off limits to guests. For their protection, we do not permit children on the 3rd floor balcony, with or without a supervising adult. Further, children under the age of 10 should be supervised near or on the outdoor amenities, such as the swing, hammock, porch swing, firepit, near theatre equipment and near any and all outdoor plants. Please be mindful of children's activities as the outdoor space is large and presents with possible hazards. Other things to note Projector Instructions - [ ] The speaker has a built in speaker and is located in the kitchen closet, along with a beach blanket. We also have beach chairs in the greenhouse, if you prefer to view the screen from the yard. - [ ] Pull down the screen behind the large sign at the outdoor kitchen. - [ ] Plug the projectors power cord into the power strip located under the large, square table. The space 5 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Home (sleeps 12+) with ample space for entertaining (3 living room spaces!!), double car garage, large kitchen, and outdoor deck (with a large grille! - gas provided). This is a newer home with central air/heating in a great location, close to the beach/parks!! We've updated the bathroom on the upper level with new paint, vanity, fixtures and have painted two bedrooms to give a nice beach feel - also new linens throughout the house! This a split level home, with 2 formal living rooms, a third play room area with a twin bed. Main living room has 42' flat screen TV, while the downstairs serves more as a play room with another TV. The home has a front loading washer/dryer in the second bathroom. All five bedrooms have queen/full sized beds. Additional twin beds are being added this year and is provided for use (in playroom). It’s the perfect central location being in a quiet neighborhood, yet only moments away from downtown South Haven’s restaurants, shops, taverns, marina, playgrounds and the local movie theatre. The Cast Away is also within a mile of the shores of North Beach - a staple point of South Haven. The space The Cast Away's spacious floor plan has a welcome-home appeal to meet the needs of families and friends looking to create meaningful memories. The interior has a nautical theme with hardwood cherry floors, antique furniture pieces, unique woodwork and built-ins, and central air conditioning/heating. With five large bedrooms, it comfortably sleeps 12 guests. The first-floor bedroom has a queen-sized bed, ample closet space, and an adjacent full bathroom. There are four bedrooms upstairs where three have queen-sized beds and one has two sets of bunk beds. One of the queen bedrooms has a 40” smart TV for you to log into your own streaming services (or bring your own streaming device). The second floor has a very large, updated bathroom featuring a beautiful arched ceiling, beadboard walls, attractive tile and a linen alcove.
