The loft features a day bed that has a trundle leaving guests the option of two twin sized bed or one king sized bed. Located in the closet is a six-drawer dresser with hangers. The loft allows access to the balcony where seating and a table is available. Guest access *House is located in a gated community. Because you will be our guest, you will have access to everything in the community such as pool (open during May-September), lake, tennis courts, basketball courts, and playground. *House is 100% self-check in. *Check in is at 3pm. Check out is at 10am. Guest can inquire of early check in or late check out with communication with the host. **Parking is on site enough for three vehicles. *License and registration is required at the time of check in to obtain car pass for this gated community. To avoid this, please keep all windows and doors shut as needed and all trash and food away and stored correctly. Also, be aware that black bears frequent the area. Please be aware of food left outside, on the porch, or in vehicles. *Washer and dryer are currently unavailable to guests. *Fireplace is available for usage from October 15th until April 15th. During this time, the only items used in the fireplace are wood and natural fire starters such as cardboard, twigs, paper, or hay. Under any circumstances should liquid fluid, lighter fluid or any other items intended for outdoor usage is allowed to be used in the fireplace. The space This cozy lake house accommodates up to 7 people (including kids/infants). Gate pass required, which is arranged by owners. We’ve thoughtfully designed every detail for a 5-star experience. The home features new kitchen appliances (2022), soft linens, and original art. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals at home. Bathrooms are stocked with body wash, shampoo, and fresh towels, with extra blankets available. Wildlife may include flying insects, spiders, ants, squirrels, flying squirrels, mice, foxes, raccoons, opossums, skunks, snakes, turtles, coyotes, and black bears. Smaller creatures and insects can occasionally find their way inside depending on the outside conditions. We have monthly exterminator visits to minimize this, but being in the mountains, anything is possible. Additionally, please note that the mountain infrastructure differs from that of the city. Small wind or rain storms can occasionally cause power or internet outages in specific areas, including our home. Power outages may affect the water supply as we are on wells and the well pumps need power to work. Usually, these outages are restored within 8-10 hours, which is a quick turnaround given the weather conditions. For outages lasting less than 24 hours, no refund or compensation will be provided. For outages exceeding 24 hours, compensation will be issued on a case-by-case basis. Lastly, please be aware that extreme heat or cold waves can put stress on the house's heating or cooling systems, and these systems may struggle to keep up during very high or very low temperatures. ◆◆◆Summer Bookings◆◆◆ During Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, this is our busiest season. This house is nestled in the mountains, surrounded by trees and nature. As a result, you may encounter wildlife, as this is their home and we are merely guests. Wildlife may include flying insects, spiders, ants, squirrels, flying squirrels, mice, foxes, raccoons, opossums, skunks, snakes, turtles, coyotes, and black bears. Smaller creatures and insects can occasionally find their way inside depending on the outside conditions. We have monthly exterminator visits to minimize this, but being in the mountains, anything is possible. Additionally, please note that the mountain infrastructure differs from that of the city. Small wind or rain storms can occasionally cause power or internet outages in specific areas, including our home. Power outages may affect the water supply as we are on wells and the well pumps need power to work. Usually, these outages are restored within 8-10 hours, which is a quick turnaround given the weather conditions. For outages lasting less than 24 hours, no refund or compensation will be provided. For outages exceeding 24 hours, compensation will be issued on a case-by-case basis.
