Relax by the pool or head to the beach only two miles away. The space 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Master bedroom has a king size bed with walk-in closet & master bathroom. There’s also a office desk with an office chair that’s not pictured. Bathroom has a walk-in shower, double vanity & toilet. Second bedroom has a queen size bed & full closet. Third bedroom has twin beds with full closet. Full size hallway bathroom right across from these bedrooms with tub/shower, single vanity & toilet. Full kitchen with pantry & all new appliances & bar area with seating for four. Open floor area into the living room & sitting nook. Dining room with French doors going out to the pool area & patio. Laundry room is accessed through kitchen door into the garage. Guest access You have use of the whole house & backyard pool area. Garage parking will not always be available since we sometimes keep a vehicle there. There’s plenty of parking space in the driveway. Other things to note 2 bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, igloo cooler, pool & beach toys are available for our guests. We do not supply a beach umbrella but there could be one left from prior guests.

Other things to note Heater (winter months): If nighttime temps drop below 50°F, the electric heater may shut off and will not heat the pool. This protects the equipment from damage. It doesn’t happen often, but we appreciate your understanding. Water Level: Please check that the water level stays about 2–3 inches above the skimmer/duct. If low, turn the hose on for about 1–1.5 hours. Low water can cause the pump or heater to stop working. 🚫 Please do not change pool equipment or settings without permission. Adjusting settings can damage the system and create chemical imbalance. Unauthorized changes may result in a $500 charge.

While we do take precautions to keep these critters out, it is sometimes out of our control and they may sneak in. Pool heating is available for an additional charge of $100.00 per week plus 12% tax. Please note that the water temperature of the pool is naturally affected by outside temperatures, weather conditions, and cooling during the night. After cool nights, especially in winter, the pool can lose heat overnight. Therefore, it is normal for the water temperature to be well below 85°F in the morning and it may take several hours for it to warm up again. The pool heater only works when the pool pump is running and automatically turns off once the water reaches a temperature of approximately 85°F. For safety reasons and to protect the equipment in extremely cold outdoor temperatures, the pool heater may not be activated at all. Whether you choose to unwind by the large private pool, hit a beautiful beach (beach gear is provided) or soak in the culture of downtown Sarasota and surrounding area, you are sure to have a lovely time! The space Sandpiper Cove is a fresh, spotless and well-appointed pool home!! With three bedrooms and two baths, this home sleeps up to six! Safety is a major priority in the home with carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, pool safety fence, caged pool and fenced yard to name a few examples! Outdoor space: The large pool, patio and backyard make for a quiet, private retreat. The yard backs up to green space and is fully fenced. There is a pool cage AND a child safety fence around the large pool. An outdoor TV allows you to catch up on the news with your morning coffee by the pool. Grill a delicious meal on the BBQ to enjoy at the outdoor dining set. Lounge in the sun or nap in the shade on the comfortable furniture! After sunset, turn on lights strung overhead and enjoy the ambiance and sounds of nature. Note: Pool is heated to 84 degrees, 12 hours per day November through March at no additional charge. Obviously, if outdoor temperatures are below 70, the pool temp may not reach 84 during the duration of the heating cycle. If you would like the temperature set higher than 84 degrees or lengthen the cycle length, please discuss this with the host as there will be an added daily fee. Swim diapers need to be worn by individuals who are not completely toilet trained. A $75 fee will be added for extra cleaning/chemicals should this be needed. In addition, due to safety, understand that the pool cannot be used for 24 hours after the chemical readjustment. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare delicious meals! There is a drip coffee maker, French press, blender, toaster, pots, pans, baking sheets, and serving ware for your use. We provide some starter essentials including a few of each: laundry pods, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags, hand soap, and paper products. Coffee from Sarasota Coffee and Tea (a locally owned business) is provided to start off your first day. Note: There is a grocery store a mile away to select and restock your favorite supplies! (pick up a Key Lime Pie from their bakery while you are there--it's the best!) Living Room: Bright, open, and comfortable! Kick back and relax! Dining: Dining Room has a table with settings for six. In addition, you can grab a drink or quick bite to eat at the bar connecting the living room and kitchen as well as in the kitchen at a table for two. Pool & Hot Tub Heating Disclaimer The pool and hot tub share one electric heater, and only one can be heated at a time. Electric pool heating is not instantaneous. Heating times vary based on outdoor temperature, weather conditions, and prior use. During cooler weather, the pool may take many hours or longer to reach a comfortable temperature and may not achieve what some guests consider “hot,” even when heating continuously. The hot tub also requires time to heat and will not reach optimal temperature immediately after being switched from pool heating. While the heater is fully operational, pool and hot tub temperatures cannot be guaranteed, particularly during colder months or periods of heavy use. Heating performance is affected by environmental conditions beyond our control. By booking, guests acknowledge and accept these limitations. No refunds or discounts will be issued due to heating time, heater capacity, weather conditions, or temperature expectations. Grill policy: Great news, we do have a grill available for guest use! Please note that propane is not included, so you’ll need to purchase it separately.
