Of the four separate lofts the 3 bedroom/1 bath loft with a large living room has a 65" Smart TV (each bedroom has smart TV as well except bunk bed room) as well as views over looking the West Bay and Boardman River. This unit sleeps 7 people in beds as there is a King, Queen, & Full/Twin bunk bed not to mention the nice new wide wrap around couch that could technically sleep one or two more if needed. RheeThis unit also has a large kitchen with its own coffee pot sitting on granite countertops, has all new stainless steal appliances, and gold fixtures/handles and comes stocked with all you would need to cook a family dinner or to warm up left overs with a just a few friends. This 3 bedroom lofts bathroom has beautiful tile work and has a custom made vanity and stand up shower with floor to ceiling glass not to mention a bidet toilet as well! The 2 bedroom/1 bath loft at the opposite end of the hall from the 3 bedroom loft comes with a nice round dining room table that sits in front of a large bay window that over looks the West Bay & Boardman River. The dinning room is just off the luxury kitchen and adjacent to one of the nicest bedrooms as it too has a large bay window looking out into the bay and river. The large kitchen also has granite countertops, stainless steal appliances, and gold fixtures/handles and comes stocked with all cooking utensils, plates, cups/bowls, pots/pans & coffee pot. The living room in this 2 bedroom loft has a 55" Smart TV and pull out sofa bed. This unit also has a stunning bathroom with tiled shower, custom made vanity, and floor to ceiling glass shower and a bidet toilet. Bedroom #2 in this loft unit also has its own smart TV’s (3) and sofa bed as well. The 1 bedroom/1 bath loft with wrap around couch has pull out sofa bed you can sleep extra guests on or you can sit on and watch the 65" smart TV or look right out into the bay and the adjacent and only bedroom also having a large bay window looking out into the west bay and a smart TV as well. The large open concept kitchen also has granite countertops, stainless steal appliances, and gold fixtures/handles and comes stocked with everything the other kitchens do as well. This bathroom is a lot like the others with even more custom tile work in the shower, floor to ceiling glass shower, and custom made vanity and bidet toilet. Behind the wrap around sofa bed couch is a small high top table so you can have a bite to eat looking out into the bay. Studio Loft/1 bath unit that is a lot like the others minus the bedrooms and isnt on the water side of the building so it over looks Front Street down below and you can see right across the street at the Little Fleet restaurant. This unit has a nice large king size bed and smart TV. The kitchen is a bit smaller and has everything the others do except for a stove and the fridge is just a tad smaller. This bathroom is a bit smaller than the rest too but a lot like the others with the custom stand up tiled shower and glass door floor to ceiling, and custom made vanity. It’s hard to find many places on the water that are right on Front Street in the heart of everything downtown TC that also has these great views of the water in West Grand Traverse Bay that can sleep up to 20 people comfortably and not have any worries of being to crowded. Not to mention these loft’s all have beautiful kitchen designs that utilizes high-quality cabinets, granite countertops, modern stainless steal appliances, proper lighting, and even gold fixtures for a beautiful interior design in all of the units. Almost every room has its own separate ductless mini splits HVAC systems for a perfect temperature no matter what time of year. These lofts are perfect for the large families with kids or an extra sleeping area for your friends on the girls getaway or guys weekend. Have your own boat? You’re welcome to bring that too! This location can’t be beat for downtown TC with about a hundred bars & restaurants within a short few minute walk down Front St and just a couple minutes walk from Clinch Park Beach. Once you see this unique loft you won’t want to stay a few doors down at one of the Hotels anymore as you can have your whole group all stay in the same space and for cheaper than booking multiple rooms usually. It is the largest of the trio at approximately 625 sq ft. It has a mid-century modern, South Pacific flair! Each bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a queen sized sofa bed. The main bathroom has a bathtub and the other is an en suite with a shower only. // The Nautical Cabin This rental cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin, and is the medium-sized cabin in our trio! It has a nautical vibe with cobalt blue, anchors, boats and fishing décor! With approximately 525 sq ft, each bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a queen sized sofa bed. // The Cherry Cabin This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom rental cabin is the smallest of the 3 cabins, but will charm you immediately with its bright and happy decor! It is approximately 475 sq ft and has 2 bedrooms. One has a full bed and the other has twin bunk beds. The living room has a queen sized sofa bed. The single bathroom has a shower but no tub. Guest access Guests have access to the all three cabins during their stay. The driveways can accommodate a about 6 cars. All vehicles, boats and trailers must be parked in the driveway. Street parking is not permitted. Please do note there are a couple of hills to access the home that can get icy in the winter. We recommend four wheel drive if staying during snowy conditions. Other things to note The dock is available from the end of May through the end of September. Please only use the dock for 15-minute loading and unloading of passengers. Wind and waves can cause damage to boats and docks. We welcome 1 dog for a pet fee of $75.

High Lake Getaway: Family Fun Year-Round

This breathtaking cottage with 200 feet of Elk Lake frontage is the largest space for rent on the lake. Great for extended family vacations. It has a little private beach, dock and mooring ball and is only 20min from downtown TC. The south end of Elk Lake is very quiet, but a short boat ride to the famous Torch Lake sand bar, fishing on Skegemog Lake, or the cute little downtown of Elk Rapids. Snowmobiling, skiing, and other activities are abundant in the area. Paddleboard/kayak provided The space You have use of the main house, garage and apartment above the garage as well as the beach directly in front of this listing. The pole barn and little cottage next door are our private residences. Please park your vehicles in front of the Big Drake, the drive in front of the little cottage and pole barn is for our residence. Guest access Renters DO NOT have access to the pole building, guest cottage next door or the basement. Other things to note Guest will be supplied 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and paper towel in the kitchen, extras available in pantry. Additional soaps also available in pantry. Typically you will be provided with tinfoil, basic kitchen utensils, pans, and BBQ grill. Propane tanks can be exchanged or be refilled at the Tractor Supply about 10 mins up M72. "The Loft" TC is a stunning industrial modern space w/ historic & rustic features. The space was thoughtfully converted over the last few years from its original use as an industrial printing facility into a gorgeous vacation rental. Featuring approx. 2,260 sf ft of space w/ the front area of the unit can sleep up to 8 guests & the rear area of the unit can sleep up to 5 guests totaling up to 13 overnight guests. You can choose to keep the areas separate/locked or open them up to one big unit. The space “The Loft” in beautiful downtown Traverse City is a perfect place to get away for you and your family and friends or guests. It's strength is to entertain, with a gorgeous chefs kitchen and commercial range along with expansive dining and living rooms. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, modern, and opulent. The Loft TC features awe inspiring architectural details including 12 feet of floor to ceiling brick forged right here in Traverse City from the clays of Cedar Lake just West of town. The restored 110 year old hardwood maple floors span from wall to wall and maintain their original warmth and character. So many materials and furniture items were handpicked, handmade, reclaimed, restored, or repurposed by local artisans to showcase the rich history of materials and talent that this area is know for. Some notable features include the old rustic hemlock barn beams salvaged from a local barn to the hefty solid white oak sliding barn doors and barn wood trim. Local metalworkers hand forged custom pieces like the ladders, bird cage lighting, and aluminum glass enclosures in the entry and loft. An eclectic array of lighting was picked for the project including some hand made fixtures by local artists and even a handful of antique factory warehouse industrial lighting fixtures that were repurposed in the living room along with some modern chandeliers and fixtures in the kitchen and dining room. The buildings old french style window doors have been resurrected and repurposed as interior transom windows and even as wall and accent mirrors. Numerous other handcrafted furniture and fixtures have been made for the LoftTC including the dramatic walnut slab dining room table and bathroom vanity sourced from a local walnut tree that was downed in the Big Storm of Aug 2, 2015. The main focal point of the space is the towering wall of glass overlooking Union Street which is very close to the center of Downtown Traverse City. Whether your stay is for a whole week or a special weekend getaway, almost anything you could possibly want to experience in the Traverse City area is conveniently and easily accessed from the central location of The LoftTC. The beach is only a block away along with our beautiful bay-front and Tart Trail. Two of the best movie theaters in the world are only a block away. Shows can be seen at the City Opera house a couple hundred feet away or the Old Town Playhouse just up the road around the corner a few blocks South. The biggest festivals go on all around Traverse City but the LoftTC is in the middle of all the action, a block from the center of action the Open Space. Some of the best restaurants, bars, wine, beer, coffee and retail shops in the country are just outside the door. Wine, beer, and adventure tours operate from down the street. Culinary classes at Fustini's are a five minute walk away. The layout allows ample space for both solitude and celebrations. Two common areas inside, a large lake-facing porch, a lake-front patio on 150 feet of private beach, and a shaded patio above the beach shed; there is enough space for everyone in your party to gather in groups large and small! Completely renovated mid-century modern home close to downtown Traverse City. Walk 10 mins to a public beach on East Bay. Hop on bikes and head 3 miles on the TART trail to downtown breweries, galleries and restaurants. Enjoy a scenic drive to Leelanau or Old Mission Peninsulas where you can visit cherry orchards, enjoy wineries and explore local distilleries and farm markets. A full kitchen, lots of parking, fast wifi and Northern MI at your disposal - the perfect spot for your next staycation The space The house comfortably sleeps 8 in private bedrooms with additional sleeping options for 4 - there is a king bed, queen bed, twin bed and bunk room with a full bed on bottom and twin on top. There are also 2 fold-down futons, a queen-sized air mattress, and space on a down-filled, comfortable couch in the rec room. There is one full bath, which has been completely renovated, and a half bath (closer to a quarter bath, as it is quite small). The master bedroom has lots of windows looking out on the wooded property and access to the deck. The kitchen is equipped for cooking and serving, with a retro stove, oven and warming oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and classic boomerang Formica counter tops. Our half bath is probably better described as a quarter bath. It’s pretty small, but functional. For those looking to stay in, we are setup for comfortable entertainment, with two 55-inch TVs and "rec room" area with a vintage gas stove and plenty of board games. There is also a large back yard, with a deck, gas grill, and a fire pit perfectly positioned in the shade of old-growth pine and oak trees. Guest access Guests have access to the whole home during their stay. The driveway can accommodate about 4 cars, and 2 additional cars can park in the spots out front of the house between April 1 - Nov 30, just off the road. Street parking is off limits so please make sure all cars are on the property. Other things to note As noted in the amenity section, the house does not have central air-conditioning. Temperatures are often cooler close to Grand Traverse Bay, the lot is wooded and has plenty of shade, and we provide fans in every room. Please do note that this home is located in a quieter residential neighborhood and sound carries easily in the backyard.

The water near our dock can be shallow, and we recommend some experience navigating shallow waters. If you prefer, we’ve partnered with a trusted local company that offers daily boat delivery and pickup from the nearby public launch (just 3 minutes away). This is an excellent choice even for multi-day rentals—they’ll handle launching and retrieving the boat each day so you can relax and enjoy the lake.
