There’s also a breakfast bar that seats three and is ideal for grabbing a quick bite before heading out for an adventure-packed day. String lights cover both decks at night creating a fun and festive atmosphere day or night. You will love the charm of this comfy cottage with its wood ceilings and original ‘squeaky’ hardwood floors. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. No bathtubs. 2 rooms have queen beds and one serves as the master with an en-suite bathroom. The other bedroom has a queen/twin bunkbed. There is a fold out sleeper sofa in the living room. Enjoy Fall and Winter months in the cozy open living area which is equipped with an electric remote operated fireplace insert. There is one smart TV located in the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked and should have all necessities to cook meals. The refrigerator/freezer does not have an ice maker so we have added a countertop ice maker for your convenience. There is a duo coffee pot/Keurig and coffee and pods are available for your use. The patio area is perfect for relaxing while preparing a meal on the propane grill. The patio has some outdoor games such as cornhole and Tiki toss. During the warmer months we have various ‘lake toys’ available at the home such as a large water mat, kayaks and paddle boards. There are a couple of fishing poles but you may want to bring your own tackle and bait. There is an outside stone patio area with chairs and a firepit. On the lakeside dock there are steps on either side of the boardwalk in which you can access the lake. Use caution as these can sometimes get slippery. There is a floating dock at the end of the dock in which you can tie a boat or personal watercraft. Beginning the end of October the lake water levels begin to drop and so the floating dock will also go down. There are a set of ladder stairs attached to the stable dock in which you can climb up from the floating dock in the seasons where the water is low. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood and you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Guest access Entire home. Other things to note Seasonally AL Power drops the lake water levels down several feet. This usually begins mid to late October and lasts through early Spring. Although this property is located with deeper depth water please be aware that once the levels drop our floating dock also drops down several feet making it a bit more challenging to get down to water level to fish or dock a boat. Due to the drop also please use caution when on the docks during this time of year as there can be a steep drop off. Although children are allowed at the property please supervise at all times as the home has no gated separation between the house and the lake.

Recently renovated roomy 4 bedroom, 3 bath waterfront lake cabin located in the Kowaliga Bay area on the south side of Lake Martin close to all of Lake Martin’s hot spots! Plenty of outdoor space with an upper and lower deck for enjoying coffee while taking in the beautiful lake views or enjoying a meal outside with family or friends. Sit on the dock or lakeside swing while watching the kids play and swim in the water. The space Enter the home into the spacious kitchen which has everything you need to prepare meals including pots, pans, utensils, instant pot, air fryer, and crockpot. The newly updated kitchen has beautiful marble countertops and seating for five. The adjoining laundry room has a washer and dryer. Located off the kitchen is the dining room with seating for 8. Then enter into the spacious great room with room for the entire family to relax with two separate seating areas. On one side of the great room there is a sectional sofa facing a large smart TV, where you can log in to your Netflix or YouTube TV accounts, etc. On the adjacent side of the room is a cozy seating area in front of a gas stone fireplace, perfect for relaxing and reading a book or enjoying a game of Tic Tac Toe with the kids. There is a queen sofa sleeper as well as a loveseat in this area. The great room has large windows overlooking the lake and two sets of double doors which lead to the upper deck. Grill and enjoy a meal out on the upper deck, which has two dining tables with seating for 8. The gas grill available for your use is located on the upper deck. There are three bedrooms upstairs, all with queen beds and one of the rooms with a queen bed also has a set of twin bunkbeds. One of the bedrooms has an adjoining full bath with shower. There is an additional bathroom in the hallway off the great room with a tub/shower combo. Walk down the stairs to the lower level to access the huge master bedroom suite with lake views! The master suite includes a personal bathroom with double vanities and walk in shower. There is also a smart TV in the master suite. Exit the master suite onto the beautiful lower level deck which overlooks beautiful Lake Martin. After a day of swimming, enjoy time with family on the lower deck enjoying a meal or sitting by the outdoor wood fireplace. Spending time on the lower level patio is very relaxing. No need to worry about mosquitos as the property is protected with a Mosquito Authority contract. There is a lake water mat(similar to a Lily Pad), as well as two kayaks and two paddle boards available for use if desired. We also have a cornhole board available for use. Owner’s personal boat and watercraft on site and in boat house not for use. There is a floating dock with space for you to dock/tie your boat if needed. There is a marina with a boat ramp located a short drive away. Note***Seasonally, Lake Martin's water levels are controlled by Alabama Power. Water levels begin to drop in October and rise to full pool by Spring. As we are located in a cove water levels drop to a point (usually around the first of November through late February/early March) where the water is too low to dock a boat. Guest access There is a two vehicle carport and a drive up parking area with space for two additional vehicles. Enter the front door into the kitchen using a keyless entry pad. It is an open studio style space with its own private deck facing the lake. Other things to note There is only one boat slip for the larger main house, so it is not guaranteed to be available for the Upper Room. Please message the host for more information if bringing a boat. There is plenty of driveway space for a boat to be parked on land, and a boat launch nearby when needed.

The kitchen is fully equipped with basic small appliances and includes plenty of storage and pantry space. Upstairs is a huge game room with a ping pong table, billiards & tons of board games & puzzles! The main home has 3 bedrooms & 3 full baths. The detached garage (aka the cottage) has a bunkroom, 1 queen bedroom & 1 full bath. Guest access A unique access code will be sent 48 hours prior to your arrival. The code will become active at 4pm on check in date and inactive at check out time. If you have been given early access or late check out, please note the code will be extended for those times.
