Black bears visit the cabin often in Spring, Summer, and Fall. You may get lucky and catch a glimpse of one of these residents while enjoying the view from the deck. We also contract regular monthly pest services, which treat all pests from multiple types of bugs, mice, etc. Despite our regular treatments, given the proximity of the cabin to the park, it is possible these pests can temporarily enter the cabin. We immediately respond and treat if anything comes up, and have found it is very rare to come across anything like this. Guest access Our guests will have the full cabin to themselves! We will send an electronic door code approximately 5 days before check-in. Other things to note We continue to take extra precautions to ensure extra cleanliness and prioritize guest safety: • All hard & soft surfaces cleaned with Micro-Ban™, including counters, vanities, sinks, floors, stair rails, cabinets, doors, furniture, beds, pillows, carpets, comforters, etc. throughout the cabin. • Lysol™ is used thoroughly on all compatible surfaces to clean and disinfect • Bleach-based cleaners are used in all bathrooms and kitchens, which allow the use of chlorine products. • Linens (bedding, towels, etc.) – removed & washed offsite in temperatures exceeding those recommended for laundry operations, then packaged until the housekeeping staff is ready to put them out for guests. • Hot Tub -- Drained, cleaned, fresh Bromine added, and refilled after every guest • The cabin is inspected regularly after cleaning, and inspectors perform additional applications of protective products in the cabin, such as MicroBan and Lysol. • Cleaning staff received additional education on disinfection protocols and are furnished with protective gloves, changing them for fresh pairs as needed during cleaning & disinfection of the home. • 2 Pets allowed with a fee. For the younger folks in the group (or young at heart!), there is PLENTY to do at our cabin as well! Our family's favorite include the indoor community swimming pool, just down the street, and the billiards table in the game room. But that's not enough for a cabin like this! We also have a full sized foosball table, an air hockey table, and a standup arcade cabinet with a handful of the old classic games like Ms. Pac Man. There are 11 flat screen TVs covering every bedroom and common area. Each TV is equipped with Netflix, YouTube TV (for local Knoxville channels), Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. You will need to sign in with your own accounts to access these streaming services, ensuring plenty of entertainment options if the mood strikes. The main living room is similar to your own private media room, with a high end 10' projector in case a bunch of folks want to take in a game or movie. Just imagine all the memories you will make in this cabin! The cabin itself is appointed just as you'd hope and is massive in both size and charm. As you walk into the front door, you're greeted by the open living and dining space perfect for board game nights and family meals. And just open the patio door and the views are yours alone to take in. And the cozy kitchen has just about everything you need for your stay -- a Keurig and a coffee maker, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, blender, crock pot, microwave, iron and board, and more. The gated resort features an attractive and airy glass-enclosed swimming pool. The pool is 3 feet to 5 feet deep and is 20 feet wide and 46 feet long.The pool is closed every year from January to beginning of March for maintenance and upkeep. Pool temps vary but they try to keep the temperature around 82 degrees. There is also a room in the HOA building at the entrance to the resort that contains vending machines and a brochure station providing info to alot of the adventures in the area. It is a very easy drive on all paved roads. There is a cabin to the right of Timber Lodge but there are no cabins below or to the left so there is plenty of privacy. There is parking for 8 right in front of the cabin as well as 2 charcoal grills. You will need to walk up 5 stairs to the entry door but once inside you can take the elevator to the desired level. Each bedroom door is numbered so you can all pick your sleeping arrangements before arriving to avoid the chaos of fighting for your space. :) Level 1 Fully stocked kitchen with 2 fridges, 2 ovens, microwave, and dishwasher. There is also a rolling island that can be moved into the kitchen when you need more countertop space for cooking yummy meals. 2 gorgeous dining tables with seating for 24. Cozy living room with 75" Tv that can be viewed from the living and dining area. Electric fireplace (the fireplaces do not produce heat). Full height windows on this level provide incredible mountain views from the comfort of the indoors. There is a common bathroom across from the dining area that has a huge jetted tub and shower. There is also a stackable laundry unit in a closet by the dining area. Bedroom 1(sleeps 2)- King bed, 55 " Smart Tv, ceiling fan, dresser, nightstands, and private bathroom with shower. Access the main level deck from the dining/living area. This deck provides incredible mountain views from the comfort of a rocking or adirondack chair or the warmth of Hot Tub # 1. From the game area head out onto the 2nd level deck where you will find another hot tub and more relaxing seating.
