The space The whole house is yours to enjoy! It isn’t the Ritz but it’ll do! It’s a bit of a quirky house actually but it does boast a full kitchen & huge deck with a grill. It’s fully furnished with beds and space to place your airbed. Don’t be looking for a Beautyrest bed but enjoy a place to lay your head. BTO Linens and bath towels. You have one acre and 120 ft of lakeshore to enjoy. Bring a kayak or SUP and enjoy our 100 acre back yard of pure lake bliss! We have a dock and raft for your use. Feel free to bring your own yard games and lake toys! There's also miles of trails for biking and walking with access from our property. So bring your walking shoes, roller blades or bikes! All bedrooms are in the lower level. If you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the place for you. You’re welcome to bring your own airbeds and sheets to set up in the living room or 4 season porch so you can wake up to a wall of windows looking out at the lake. If you sleep on the couch, please put sheets on it to sleep on top of. The bathroom on the main floor is a half bath. The full baths with showers and tubs are in the lower level. There are also many stairs to get to the lake. If you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the spot for you. Pets are welcome. Pets are people too. The listed pet fee is per pet per stay for our four legged guests. If you have more than one pet, we’ll need to approve that in advance. Please let us know details of your pet when you make your reservation request. If deposits are left in yard, you’ll be billed. If you have a tendency to not pick up da poppy, this may not be the place for you. Please wash all dishes used during your stay! Dish soap is provided. Do not leave dirty dishes in sink or on counters. We provide some paper plates and plastic silverware. Depending on your group, you may want to bring some too. There are two ovens. The top one has self cleaning. So if your dishes tend to overflow, we'd really appreciate you using the top oven and wiping up the overflow as best you can. Thank you. There's a dehumidifier in the lower level. If it gets too humid or damp for you in the lower level, turn it on. It will pull the humidity out in no time!! Leave it on long enough and it will pull the moisture right out of your skin! There's a fire pit. Bring your own dry wood. You may find plenty of wood around the property. However, it might not be dry. So best to stop at the gas station and get yourself a nice, dry bunch. We recommend getting some marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate while you're there. Be sure fire is out before you head in for the night. Use of property and any lake toys are at your own risk. Return them to their proper homes when you have finished. If you're a small party of two using a small portion of the home, let us know. We can work a reduced cleaning rate for you. It's a big house! Events including additional guests above the confirmed reservation must be approved. Event fees of $40/additional guest will apply. Inquire and approve before your stay. If day guests arrive during your stay that have not been approved, an added fee/guest/day will be assessed at $50/guest. This behavior may result in immediate cancellation of your reservation without refund as is consistent with Airbnb policy. We allow events that are discussed, approved and payment agreed upon prior to a reservation. We do not allow events that are a surprise and not discussed and approved of ahead of time. Communication is key. Parking is limited to 5 cars. If you expect to have more, we need to discuss and arrange for alternative parking solutions. There may be walking involved and an additional fee for additional cars. PARK on the gravel driveway. DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS. And absolutely DO NOT park on the neighbors yard. There is a string along the property line. Tho shalt not cross the line! :-) We do not have room for trailers and there is no public access on our lake. If you plan to bring a boat and trailer for use on another lake in the area, discuss this at the time of reserving so we can help you plan and make this possible. Other than that, have a blast! It’s a super cool spot! Guest access Park up to two cars by the garage as if you were going to pull into the garage. This way you can back out and pull straight out of the driveway. Careful parking on asphalt along retaining wall. Any damage to cars hitting retaining wall are responsibility of the driver and car owner. Three cars can fit around the island of the drive way without blocking the decline of asphalt to the garage and front door. No parking is allowed on any grass areas or the island of the circle drive. If you’re on rock or asphalt, you can park on it. If its permeable ground or grass, you cannot. Parking on anything but rock or asphalt may result in a fee to repair yard. Hope this helps! Enter through the front door foyer area. Other things to note Check in/out times are flexible. We have it set at check in between 5-10pm and check out at 11am. We understand folks want to enjoy our slice of heaven so early check-in or late check-out can be arranged depending on schedule and availability. Additional fees may apply. We do our best to accommodate! Communication ahead of time is key. Fishing catch and release only please. Fish guts not allowed in our trash or yard. We like nature but maggots and flies .... not so much! Fish guts in the trash or left on the property will result in additional charges for clean up.

How does one describe the domes? Peewee's Playhouse.... Alice in Wonderland..... truly magical..... it's the house that's bananas...... all phrases I've heard over the years. We have 9 foot tube slides inside the house. Secret doors, a putting green, monkey bars and more. Come play! **** Just added hot tub but that is EXTRA. The space Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 6 bedroom/ 5 bath geodesic domes home sitting on an almost 2 acre lot. Words and pictures can hardly describe this truly magical home. The house itself is an absolute gem -truly a once in a lifetime home that the famous architect - Buckminster Fuller, himself - has actually been in before. An architectural dream that will make any old square house seem like a bore. The yard and landscaping is unbeatable and includes frog ponds, waterfalls, streams and bridges. Many who come over, while they are sitting outside on the patio listening to the frogs croak and watching the willows blow in the breeze - tell me that the the last thing they would guess is that they are in a suburb of Minneapolis - rather that they are in a resort in the north woods. The amazing part of the domes is that once you walk out of our hidden fortress, you come out to a city with all you could ever need and within a 5 minute walk you could find yourself sipping a refreshing slushy at Bryant Lake Regional State park which has a FREE fantastic beach, park, hiking trails, Frisbee Disc Golf and more! Rent a paddle boat or go hiking on the nature trails.....this park has it all. Now onto the house! Let me just start out by telling you that you haven't played the best game of hide n' seek until you've played in this house. Oh the nooks and crannies are so fascinating and fun! Again, the pictures just don't do it justice. When you walk in the front door you are greeted with a view like no other. You see the curved wall, the beautiful kitchen and the window formation that will simply take your breath away. As you peek further you notice what appears to be the other dome and you just can't wait to go exploring! Don't forget your Harry Potter map, because you might just get lost! ;) As you enter the kitchen you will soon realize that it is perfect for dining and it is equipped with everything you might need. It has a brand new Viking gas range, new dishwasher, new kitchen sink and faucets, new double oven and microwave, and a huge fridge. Seating for dining is located with the table in the kitchen itself, four barstools and the kitchen island or head over to our Italian- made glass table in the dining room. If you feel like heading up the spiral staircase in dome 1 which you access from the living room (which is furnished with everything you would need including a 3 sided wood burning fireplace and all the wood you could ever ask for).... you will reach the Master suite. The main/master bedroom has a nice temperpedic king sized bed and the bathroom has a large European soaking tub. While the remaining rooms are furnished with nice full sized memory foam bed (s), the guest room on the main floor (dome 2) has a super comfy queen size bed, all very comfortable for sleeping lots of people. Also on the kids lofts sleep 2 person per loft on queen sized memory foam mattresses or loads of luxury air mattresses to accommodate more people.(We do not supply air mattresses). This home is full of love and life. Down in dome 2 we have a mother in law kitchen - full of board games and even a mini stage for talent shows and performances! Theres also a bubble hockey table and a movie theater in dome 2. Guests can enjoy an afternoon of fun and relaxing by the waterfalls and streams (excludes winter) or perhaps enjoy your 3 season porch and listen to the frogs sing, feel the breeze come through.... it's truly a slice of heaven. The home is also equipped with a work out room with an exercise bike, free weights, many mirrors and ballet and pull-up bars. Play golf? Try to golf in our hallway putting green...... this place has it all. There's also 2 excellent public golf courses within a ten minute drive. This house is perfect for big groups, family reunions or company retreats - It offers tons of space to hang out, sleep, inside and out! The backyard is also equipped with a trampoline for the kids (and adults too:) and a tiki bar and dining set. Note: The pool you see in the pic is a man-made pond, NOT a swimming pool. The back acre has a large area for tents, chairs, a football game, group bonding activities, etc. Enjoy the 200 foot Zipline that holds children and adults! Under no circumstances can you park all the way across and block their driveway so they can’t access their own home. 6) NO SMOKING inside the house. Unfortunately people have felt that the world is their ashtray and like to leave cigarette butts laying outside. There is a fee for butts that I find. 7) Have fun! The driveway is big enough for additional parking. The home has a master suite on the main floor, with its own en suite full bath with 2 sinks and a walk in shower. There is an additional bedroom on the main floor with a twin over full bunk bed perfect for a kids room, but comfortable enough for an additional adult couple. The living room boasts a newly remodeled modern décor, fireplace, and open floor plan with a large dining area and kitchen. The dining table sits 8 with additional seating at the kitchen island.
