Our rustic retreat has open-concept living areas with fireplaces & enough cozy bedrooms for the whole family! Roast marshmallows over the fire pit or unwind in the hammock swings. The detached lower level has fun games with bonus kitchenette. Minutes to ski resorts & local attractions, with access to hiking trails & a meandering creek directly from our yard! The space Get an authentic taste of Hunter Mountain in our log home! Each bedroom is adorned with a marker that represents its theme, which are representative of wildlife found in the region :) The upstairs unit of our log cabin home is two floors with 5 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. It has a full, stocked kitchen - from cookware and spices to dinnerware and utensils - with a dining table that can fit up to 8 people. There’s another table with two stools in the adjacent living room so that all upstairs guests have a place to eat or mingle. You’ll find a loaded coffee bar equipped with k-cups, coffee grinds and espresso options plus sugars and creamers near the dedicated workspace (with WiFi) that’s tucked under the stairs. The downstairs unit is accessed from the outside on the ground level. It has 3 additional bedrooms with a full bath. There’s an additional full sized fridge, coffee maker and small ice maker in the kitchenette alongside a lovely live edge bar and stools. This unit has game options for the whole family: dartboard, an extra large wall-mounted connect four, an infinity game table with dozens of digital game board options and more! Windham mountain is about a 20 minutes drive for access to even more slopes :) We are a few minutes away from Tannersville, a quaint little town offering restaurants, antique shops, yoga and more. Our home has panoramic views of the mountain range, a fully stocked chef's kitchen, large dining space, 6 bedrooms, and a 3rd floor bar/game room/lounge space with 2 Queen sleeper sofas, as well as, a large entry porch outfitted for everyone's ski equipment. It's been newly renovated to accommodate large groups comfortably. The space The Base Lodge is a 3 story house with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the first floor, one of which is an en suite with King bed, the other is a Queen. The second floor has 4 bedrooms with all Queen beds and 1 full bath with shower tub combo. Up the spiral staircase is the third floor game room and lounge area, which also offers 2 optional Queen pullout beds and a half bathroom. We also provide 2 travel cribs and high chairs for infants - located in the front room. Stair gates are also located on each floor. The house is right on Main St. and only a short walk to the entrance of Hunter Mountain, as well as walking distance to the best pizza, German cuisine, and fresh made bagels on the mountaintop! We offer window air-conditioners in every bedroom and 3rd floor space during the SUMMER months, as well as a commercial AC unit in the 1st floor living room. *3rd story sofa beds will automatically be set up for groups larger than 12. *Please note: • AC units are not installed until mid/late June. Welcome to Hunter Bungalow! Our home is located on Main St. of Lanesville, NY and is the perfect getaway for friends and families to enjoy. The house itself was recently renovated to have all the modern amenities (including ones you might expect from resort hotel), but also has the thoughtful charm to be your home away from home. The space Enjoy your morning coffee by gazing out the picture window into the lush foliage, or an afternoon cocktail al fresco on our patio overlooking the large yard surrounded by trees. We have everything you need for the perfect getaway, whether you love hiking, skiing, relaxing, cooking, adventuring or all of the above. The Living Room is our favorite spot to enjoy in the house. Lounge on the leather sofas and gaze out the picture windows to enjoy the view of lush foliage, switch on the Smart TV (where you can easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming account) for movie night or the big game, or enjoy a one of our board games with your group. The living room is adjacent to the kitchen which has an expansive island and stools for gathering around and a dining room with enough seating for your group to dine together. Sleeping Arrangements Hunter Bungalow has 5 traditional bedrooms and an attic area which altogether can sleep up to 13 guests. With 2 King Size Bedroom (one of which has an ensuite bathroom), 1 Queen Size Bedroom, 1 bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed, 1 bedroom with a full bed and 4 twin beds at the cozy attic (the attic has no door) you will find room for your entire group to spread out. All bedrooms feature Casper Mattresses, quality linens and are thoughtfully decorated. Smart TVs are in two of the bedrooms as well where you can easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming account (we don't have cable). The entire house has central air so you can keep it to your groups preferred temperature. The Kitchen The Kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and finishes as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans, and basically all the tools you need to make morning pancakes, spaghetti Bolognese dinner, and everything in between. (Groceries not provided.) For morning coffee, there is a coffee machine, please feel free to bring along your favorite roast. You will find all the dish ware, serve ware, and drink ware you need for such a large group to dine, but don’t worry, we have you covered with a dishwasher too. Bathrooms There are 3 bathrooms at Hunter Bungalow. There is one bathroom on the ground floor, and two on the second floor (one of which is nested within a King Bedroom (en suite). Each bathroom has a spacious shower with rain shower head and are stocked with toiletries, a hair dryer in each, and super plush towels. Outdoors Step outside and you will find a back porch deck that leads you down to an al fresco dining area. If BBQ-ing is your thing, we have you covered with a propane grill. An extra tank is provided in case the one there runs low and needs to be swapped out. Further out in the yard is a fire pit surrounded with Adirondack chairs for your entire group to gather around (firewood is not provided). For the kiddos (and parents) As parents ourselves, we understand the fun and challenges that come with traveling with kids. We’ve stocked our home with creature comforts to make your stay with smaller guests more enjoyable. For dining we have BPA free plastic dinnerware and cups for the kids as well as a highchair for our smallest of guests. Our home has a pack and play, a baby Björn bouncer, and wipe-able changing table. In the kitchen drawers, you'll find outlet covers should you need them for your stay. Lastly, we have a (non Wi-Fi) baby monitor you can use thru your stay, perfect for keeping an eye on your sleeping kids while you enjoy the firepit under the stars. REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE We cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of heating, air conditioning, appliances, TVs/media equipment, stereo equipment or pools/spas. Please report any inoperative equipment to us promptly. We will make every reasonable effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. If you demonstrate that the problem persists after being given phone instructions by our team, a maintenance service professional may be dispatched. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Every floor has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. You will never feel crowded. There is plenty space for everyone! Guest access Guests have access to the whole house. Other things to note The house has 4 decks, one off the front of the house which overlooks the fire pit area, one off the back, one smaller one on the top floor off the main suite and a large deck off the side of the house with a outdoor dining table with barbecue and easy access to the kitchen. We have more kitchen appliances, like a regular coffee maker, a Keurig coffee maker and an electric oven. We have 2 smarts TVs, no cable boxes but Samsung TVs come with lots of free channels to watch and we have all streaming apps that you can connect to your own accounts or TV provider.
