HOME DESCRIPTION This is a little gem of a cabin! Built in 1928, it was one of the first cabins on the street, and they built it in the perfect spot to see all of the forest valleys below and all the way out to the Apple Valley. When you walk in, you're greeted by maybe the best part of the cabin - the kitchen. For a cozy one-bedroom cabin, they built a good-sized kitchen! We've added some lighting and decorative touches, but it was a stunning space to begin with. Before sunset, the light filters in through the trees into the kitchen, and it fills the room with a beautiful, warm glow. From there, you enter the living room with a lodge-style vaulted ceiling, log beams, and a wood-burning stove fireplace built with the granite right from the property. Adjacent to the living room is the bedroom with a queen bed, princess canopy, and a huge walk-in closet for such a little place! It's empty, but you won't run out of space if you wish to use the drawers and shelves. The bathroom features an oversized tub and original building elements like the vintage, hand-painted sink and pine vanity. And finally, the deck is probably where you'll want to spend some time relaxing. It's amazing how you can park your car just steps away from the front door, then take about 20 steps to the back deck, and all of a sudden, you're in the forest with miles and miles of views! It's why they chose this parcel back in 1928. It's the perfect spot to view the sunrise over the Apple Valley with your morning coffee, or unwind in the shade of the big oak tree with your favorite cocktail in hand. Guests can enjoy the many other comfortable amenities that our house provides. HOME AMENITIES Our home is heated by a mounted wall heater and wood-burning fireplace original to the home. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, glassware and cookware. The full bath has an extra large bathtub, towels, soaps, and blow dryer. There are a wide variety to choose from, ranging from easy, stroller friendly walks with animal footprint trails for kids, to more advanced hikes with rock formations and hot springs! The living room couch easily transitions to a twin bed. This historic cabin is nestled on a peaceful, secluded 4.5 acre property that is over a mile high. Experience the serenity and simple beauty of the mountains at The Perch, where cabin 9 is one of 12 private, rustic cabins. The space The space and simplicity make it special. It's unusual to find a large, flat open space up here in the mountains. The Perch offers you that space as well as a private forested area. Together they give you the feeling that you're off in some remote place but actually, it's only 1.5 hours from LA, and just minutes to grocery stores and restaurants. You'll pull up right in front of your cabin. There's a back door that faces the barn and you're free to roam around the entire property. The cabin is rustic yet stylish. Here, you'll experience birds singing in the morning and the owls hooting by night. Maybe you'll hear coyotes and see a family of deer. You may spot other wildlife as well. Nearby, there are wonderful hiking & off-road trails ranging from easy to difficult and we're just 10 min from one of the best paragliding sites in the world. The Perch is one of the only spots where friends and family can share the barn and grounds but also have the privacy of their own cabin. Our cabins are rustic yet stylish, and modern and close to many great restaurants. Wake up to the birds singing in the morning and the owls hooting by night. We are visited by deer and coyotes most mornings as well as the occasional bear and bobcat. There are many wonderful hiking & off-road trails ranging from easy to difficult nearby and we are just 10 min from one of the best paragliding sites in the world. We are perfectly located in the middle of most things you would want to enjoy on the mountain. Lake Arrowhead is just 10min away where can visit The Village, a beautiful shopping complex with great restaurants and views of the lake. You may also hear sounds from nearby neighbors. For orientation, there are two properties to the right as you face the cabin and an open lot to the left. If you are looking for a secluded, isolated getaway, this cabin may not be the best fit for you. You'll notice some ongoing improvements in the surrounding area due to extreme storm damage. While the city and owners are actively working on repairs, there are elements beyond our control. Please consider this when making your booking. Your Cabin Amenities: Relax in comfort with a California King-sized bed in the bedroom, a crackling wood-burning fireplace, and a queen-sized pull-out sofa in the living room (a twin inflatable is also available). Our backyard is literally the National Forest, offering incredible opportunities for hiking and exploring right from your doorstep. Cabin 8 is a simple, spacious rustic cabin, located in the San Bernardino National Forest, only 10 minutes from Lake Arrowhead. There's a King bed, and a full kitchen, with the basics you need for simple cooking. Cabin 8 has a full bathroom. The cabin has a gas fireplace and is stylishly furnished. This historic cabin is nestled on a peaceful, secluded 4.5 acre property with an open field and a forested area. It's zoned residential and there are a few scattered mountain homes around, that are The space The Perch includes a large open space as well as a forested area and together they give you a feeling like you're remote and secluded yet it's only 1.5 hours from LA and close to shopping and restaurants. This is a large and spacious cabin with a King bed. It's really comfy and cozy. Please note, that the gas fireplaces, is not to be used for wood! There's a small table for two in the kitchen, and place to work. Guest access Guests can check in on their own, and access the cabin with a combination lock. Guest access Cabin 7 has self check-in. You'll get an email from our host before your arrival, with directions, the code to get into the cabin, and internet info. It has an authentic rustic charm with all the modern conveniences you will need regardless of season. It's a perfect retreat for a couple or small family. The space Built in 1927, this nostalgic cottage sits high on the mountainside among the old trees. It is always shaded so the cabin stays cool even in Summer. Looking out from inside the cabin or from the deck gives you a feeling of being in a hidden treehouse. The tongue-and-groove walls, large white stone fireplace, tall windows, and white accents provide a rustic feel with a modern touch. At night, the lighting is warm and dim which radiates that cozy cabin feel. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property with the exception of the basement which is used for storage. Free onsite parking is provided but we have a shared driveway so please keep a two car limit on our half of the driveway. There is also a private hiking trail behind the cabin. The Birdhouse | Designer Cabin by Lake Gregory

This place has a deck with a lake view and lots of patio furniture. The family room boast a 58 inch tv and a couch that folds into a queen size bed. The Kitchenette has a coffee machine, George Forman grill, electric skillet, toaster and blender. Dishes and silverware are provided. There is a barbecue on the deck also. There is a small refrigerator provided. There is a door that connects to the other unit that is locked on both sides. The property manager is on site for assistance. The space We have a fantastic lake view, private yard area. The lake is in walking distance and it is stocked with fish every other Thursday. Swimming beaches are to be opened up by the end of May through the Summer and includes flotation devices and boating along with water slides.Guest has access to a treadmill and stationary bike as well as a barbecue. There is a king size bed in the master and a tv. The couch folds into a bed. There is a 3inch Harmony Hybrid mattress topper in the closet to use on the couch to help make the queen size couch a more comfortable experience. Guest access You have a private yard equipped with a horseshoe pit and hammock. On the Lakeview deck is patio furniture, the barbecue, dog kennel and an exercise bike. And it's one of the venues where notorious mobster Bugsy Siegel once housed his "girls." History lives here! The space Rent my beautiful little (620 square feet) house nestled in the woods of Lake Arrowhead. It has cathedral ceilings and dormer windows of painted glass, two decks that jut out into the woods, a full kitchen, a wood burning fireplace, a terraced garden and a peaceful romantic quality that's perfect for birthdays, anniversaries and weekend getaways. From the back deck you can hear the stream that runs at the bottom of the hill. SLEEPING AREAS Fully furnished, with one bedroom with its queen sized bed and a pull out sofa bed in the living room that sleeps one. Though we have no TV we do have a TV monitor and lots of DVDs as well as a CD player. We have a Verizon Wireless Hotspot card which provides fast wireless Internet throughout the house. I am a five minute drive from the village of Lake Arrowhead though because the neighbors are few it feels as if the house is secluded indeed. Rekindle your romance, play in the snow with your sunshine-drenched children, go antiquing with your friends, retreat with your coworkers, hike with a friend or just hang out by yourself and cleanse your mind. Lake Arrowhead is a perfect get-away. It's a place to go to be alone and finish that novel you've been working on or to be together to rekindle your romance. Kid friendly, it's an hour and a half out of LA and minutes away from cross country and downhill skiing, sledding, snowman building and ice skating in the winter and swimming, boating, (if you have the boat) picnicking, hiking, exploring etc. in the summer. Though Lake Arrowhead is a private lake, Lake Gregory is mere minutes away with its public beaches and water park for kids. The fall finds the leaves are a stunning riot of color. You can shop for antiques and mosey around any time of the year. In the village there are a wide variety of restaurants, rustic gift and home shops, upscale outlet stores, a little kiddie-land type area with rides for the little ones, a children's museum, a video game palace, a pilates studio and the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. Guest access The whole place is yours. Other things to note Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and as such, only homes that are situated in the Arrowhead Woods neighborhood are given lake passes. This cabin does not have lake rights. A new rule states that owners (pass holders) must accompany everyone who uses the lake pass. Thus I cannot leave my renters my lake passes to use. Though if we plan it first, I can meet you with my pass. Lake Gregory is mere minutes away and is a lovely public beach with a water park for kids. It's actually more fun. BBQ, Wifi, Projection Screen, Fireplace and Air Conditioning. (Note: This is a pet-free home) The space This home was built way back during the time of prohibition and the great depression. It has been our private historic restoration project for many years. We've mostly used it as our mountain getaway, and are now excited to open it up to guests. Guest access Whole House Other things to note Location: This cabin is located near the main loop that goes around the Lake. There is not a clear view of the Lake, but this location is great if you like to be near the center of activity and within walking distance to all of the Lake Arrowhead shops and attractions. During busy weekends and peak tourist season, there can be some traffic noise on this road. Lake Access: Lake Arrowhead is a private lake governed by the Arrowhead Lake Association and is for restricted use by Lake Arrowhead property owners. Property owners may invite Guests to use their RFID gate card to access the Lake Trail, if the name and contact of each guest are provided. Lake Trail Access Details: -The Property Owner must add the name of each Guest on the approved guest list in their ALA membership account. -Guests may use the Property Owner’s RFID card to access ALA Trail around Lake Arrowhead. The Hideout is a former Bugsy Siegel hunting cabin on a 14,000 sf lot, blending rustic charm, modern style, light-filled spaces, and high ceilings. Fully renovated from 1926, it is secluded yet minutes from Tudor House. FIFA décor/images are digitally enhanced for marketing only; actual layout, décor, furniture, and amenities may vary. The space This stylish home away from home in the woods provides an experience not to forget with a cozy fireplace, a large Smart TV, & a full kitchen (the oven is a countertop convection oven). It is set up as a studio with a very comfy queen bed tucked away in its own nook with a privacy screen. Steps out the front door, a gazebo & fire pit have been added for ultimate enjoyment of the crisp cool mountain air. There is another sleeping area upstairs in the loft & it is an open loft with a ladder for access. It was designed this way to keep it open & airy. The main highlight is the change of seasons & clean crisp air. The temperature in the summer is approximately 15 degrees cooler than other areas at lower altitudes. In the winter, there is snow. It is incredibly beautiful & peaceful with lots of trees. It is more of a small-town feel with narrow roads in the Villas where the cottage is located. The Village at Lake Arrowhead sits on the lake. There are shops & restaurants at the Village & the Arrowhead Resort & Spa is close by. The space Established in 1922, (just three quarters of a mile from the village) our cottage is nestled on a secluded half-acre lot on the lush side of Lake Arrowhead among the dogwoods, maples, old growth cedars and pines. When you arrive, park on our level circular driveway and then step back in time by crossing our seasonal creek over the wooden foot bridge. As you approach the cottage, notice the rock walls, live edge siding, and the massive front door. You will have arrived at one of the most picturesque cottages, in one of the quietest canyons, in Lake Arrowhead. Our intent is to keep our cottage in top notch shape - Therefore it must be left in a neat and clean condition upon checkout. We charge extra for excessive cleanup. The cottage has been professionally decorated by my wife, an interior designer, who is experienced in incorporating comfort and elegance into home decor. It is furnished with both modern furnishings and antiques, providing the creature comforts of modern day while maintaining the old-fashioned warmth of a traditional Lake Arrowhead cottage. For your enjoyment, we decorate for each season. The focal point of the cottage is the exquisite fireplace, faced with hand-hewn, split granite boulders. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities of home. A high-end washing machine and dryer are in the hallway upstairs. The luxurious bedroom suite (with mini split air conditioning) has peaceful views of the canyon forest, and cozy, upscale bedding on a top rated - medium firmness - queen memory foam mattress. This elegant room has a vaulted ceiling, separate sitting area, and full-size closet. Relax after a day of exploring, by unwinding under the rain shower head in the recently remodeled master bathroom. The bedroom also has access to an outside deck with two chase lounges.
