Note there is no oven but there is a hotplate. Eat on the dining table with seating for four. *Upstairs Loft/Bedroom 2* custom arcade game that includes over 6000 games to play! Watch the 70" HDTV and relax on the futon. Sleep in the two full sized beds and do your work on the large desk. *Outdoors* Rest and play in the yard, which has a four-person hot tub, charcoal grill (you must provide your own charcoal and lighter fluid), a rocking swing for two, mini golf hole, outdoor bowling, and fire pit with an amazing Mountain View! There is room for everyone to enjoy the outdoor space. Relax in the peaceful atmosphere and listen to the numerous birds sing. Watch for the cows on the neighbor’s property to walk alongside the yard in the mornings (usually between 8AM and 10AM) and keep an eye out for many types of birds (such as hummingbirds, bald eagles, hawks, turkeys, and others), turtles, and other types of wildlife throughout the day. At night, listen for owls, which frequently perch in the trees near the cabin! Guest access You will have the entire cabin to yourself. There is outdoor parking for one vehicle, requiring an easy two point turn on a paved asphalt driveway when exiting the property. Access to the cabin is via a private paved roadway leading up to the cabin that is shared with one additional larger cabin 100 yards down the road. Your driveway is private and is accessed by driving straight when reaching the top of the road, with parking in front of the black shed. Do not turn left upon reaching the top of the roadway as this is the driveway for the larger cabin. Other things to note We allow two dogs. The pet fee is included in the final price of your reservation as long as the dog is added to the reservation at the time of booking. If the dog is not initially included in the reservation, then there is a flat $75 pet fee that is due before arrival.

Step into the attractive living area including a full-size sectional sofa set in front of a cozy gas log fireplace. There is a large, flat-screen HDTV with Direct TV including HD programming with HBO, five disk DVD/CD player with surround sound. In addition, the main room includes a dining table with seating for six, a breakfast bar and a Foosball table. The Kitchen is fully equipped and includes standard household amenities (toaster, coffee maker, blender, microwave, dishwasher etc.). The main floor also includes an upright washer/dryer, a separate full-size bathroom with tub and shower. The bedroom on this level has a queen size bed, dresser, nightstands and a closet. Upper Level: On the upper level of the cabin there is an open game loft and a second enclosed bedroom. The game room includes a Cannon pool table, dual billiard chairs and a dart board. It also features a trundle day bed that converts to a King size bed by simply pulling out the drawers and adjusting the mattresses. It is a nicely tucked retreat in a quiet and private neighborhood, with only a few cabins nearby, so you'll feel private and secure, while still being close to everything that the town has to offer. All roads leading to this home are side, paved and gently sloped. This newly built, very clean home is full of charm, featuring traditional cabin decor with a modern twist. This cabin has two small bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and armoires for storage of your personal belongings. You will also find extra blankets and linens in the armoires for you to use. There is one bathroom with a new stand up/walk in shower. Outdoors, you will have access to the gas grill on the back deck, covered front deck with rocking chairs, an awesome fire pit area sitting on top of a blanket of moss, and a 3-person hot tub with privacy blinds. The kitchen comes fully equipped to cook your favorite meals in, along with a small coffee bar area with a keurig and drip coffee maker. There is a Smart TV with Wifi in the living room area with a reclining sofa and chair. You can log into your Netflix account, or any other streaming app that you are subscribed to. You will have a stacked washer and dryer for use during your stay, along with an iron, ironing board, and extra closet area with hangers. A few things to note: * Pets are not allowed on the property. * For the security of our guests and property, there is an outdoor camera pointed toward the driveway. The neighborhood is very safe, but it helps us to monitor the property when needed. * Like all cabins in the woods, this home is on a septic system. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper. * Hosts are not liable for any falls or injury on the property. * When through with enjoying the fire pit, please be sure to fully extinguish. The winds do tend to get very strong during the seasons. We will notify guests when the fire pit is not allowed to be used at times like this. * HOT TUB: As of right now, the hot tub is located on the front deck as you come to the front deck area. It does offer plenty of privacy and is equipped with rolled privacy shades. When the winds are high or expected to be high, please be sure that these shades are attached at the bottom, where the fasteners attach. When not in use, please be sure to roll the blinds back up to the top. When the hot tub is not in use, please be sure to securely replace the hot tub cover. * Our favorite part of the area is how close we are to nature. You may see Mama Bear and her cubs while visiting. They are our favorite neighbors, so please enjoy watching them from a distance. Do not feed them and do not approach them. Anyone found feeding or approaching the bears will be asked to vacate the premises immediately with no refund. Keep all vehicle doors locked, as they are very smart and they do know how to open car doors. Do not leave any food or trash in your vehicle. They will sniff it out from a mile away. Do not leave any trash on either deck outside. Please secure trash in the locked bear cages located outside. * This is a smaller home that sleeps 4 comfortably. Please do not attempt to bring more than 4 guests into the home or on the property. *Firewood is not provided for the fire pit area. * Propane is provided for the grill. The driveway can be intimidating and more difficult to navigate after dark - so we do recommend trying to arrive while there is still daylight (at least for the first time, so that you can see it clearly). If you cannot make it before dark, there are reflectors up the driveway to guide you. While most guests seem to be completely unphased be the driveway, we do want to be transparent and remind anyone looking to book that this is a cabin up in the mountains, and getting up to the top is part of that experience. We like to think of it as the scenic prelude to an even better arrival - but if that doesn't sound like your thing, this may not be the stay for you :) Private and secluded parking with ample space for up to 3 vehicles. HEATING & COOLING The central air and heating is controlled by a Nest thermostat. The upstairs bedroom is equipped with multi-speed ceiling fans. FIREPLACE The fireplace is to be used only with guests who have prior experience of starting a fire in a wood burning fireplace. Fire starters and firewood are provided. Fees passed on to guests if any damage is done to house/fireplace as a result of a fire made in the fireplace. We do provide the first 5 logs to build a fire complimentary to you during your stay - but then ask that you purchase more wood if you'd like to use more wood than that. WOOD-FIRED HOT TUB Our wood-fired hot tub offers a more natural, low-impact alternative to modern electric tubs. It’s a different kind of experience—one that invites slowing down, connecting with nature, and embracing simplicity. Unlike conventional hot tubs, ours doesn’t rely on jets, lights, or bubbling systems. Just heat, wood, water, and time. This particular tub is a hybrid system with a heater, allowing us to thoughtfully balance comfort and tradition. Typically, guests heat the tub themselves using wood, embracing the traditional, hands-on ritual of a classic wood-fired soak. For your convenience - we will have the tub heated to temperature for you prior to arrival, so you can step right in and enjoy—without needing to tend to the fire. This is designed for increasing your time at peak enjoyment soaking in the tub. If you prefer the full hands-on, wood-fired experience, you may opt out of pre-heating and heat the tub yourself using wood - just let us know when you book! Because this is a more natural soaking experience, the water may not appear crystal-clear like a heavily treated spa, and that is completely normal. We are located in the mountains and run on well water, which is naturally hard. The tub is replaced after every stay and lightly treated to maintain cleanliness while preserving the natural feel.
