Failure to do so will result in you taking the garbage bags to the dump across the street. Garbage day is every Tuesday unless it’s the week of a holiday, which delays pickup 1 day. Put garbage cans at the end of the driveway the night before pick up, and bring cans back to the garage on garbage day. If little critters get into the garbage cans you are expected to clean it up! The pilot light should already be on (a little flame in the fireplace). Adjust the knob to desired heat temp. Do not go past 3. In doing so can damage the tv above the fireplace and you will be charged accordingly, If the pilot light is not lit: There is a knob that says on, pilot, and numbers on it. Turn the knob to the little arrow to line up with pilot. once it’s lined up, push in the knob and press the igniter button until the pilot lights up. Once the pilot is lit, continue holding in on knob for 30-45 seconds. Let go of knob, if pilot stays lit, turn the knob to the numbers for fireplace to run. Do not turn the knob past 3. Turn the fireplace down a little under 1 when not in use. Do not keep the fireplace on overnight. Spa room attached to the home 🧖‍♀️🧖‍♂️ 😱 has a separate entrance. Please use the “MODE” button to choose from the setting you desire: cool, heat, fan, auto etc. we do not have central air/AC but there are fans in every bedroom. ***For the fireplace & fire-pit a log starter will be needed to start the fire. Wood and log-starters can be purchased at Walmart, located about 10 minutes away. Unfortunately we don’t provide those. Make sure to purchase charcoal for our grill. Our grill is not with propane but with charcoal only. ***The projector is available with Amazon Fire TV Stick. We recommend watching at night. Feel free to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime. Use the (Zoom) button on the projector control to adjust the size of the screen! In order to have sound for when using the projector make sure the Bose speaker is connected to Alexa and turn it on. Fire wood and fire starters can be purchased in Walmart or Shop Rite located 10 minutes away ***Please clean up after your pet. Street parking is not allowed. • WORK FROM HOME • There is free, high-speed WiFi available throughout the house, w/ a dedicated workspace on the second floor. • COMMUNITY • Our home is located inside a gated community, with round the clock security services. Upon arrival each registered car will be issued a pass for the duration of your booking. Please display this pass at all times. Minors under 18 can only stay with parent, legal guardian or responsible adult, and must never be left at the property unsupervised. Our home is in a private community and requires us to register all guests. Upon booking, the primary renter will be sent a digital rental agreement to read/sign and will be asked to provide a copy of their ID. The booking is not complete until this agreement is signed. • WILDLIFE • Our home is located in a semi-wooded area not far from a lake. You will likely encounter wildlife near the house including small animals, deer, or the occasional bear. This also means that insects may be present. We have great cleaners and have pest control treat our home regularly but you may still find a random insect in or around the house, especially during the Spring when the weather starts warming up. • LAST MINUTE STAYS • Our property is in a gated community that requires guest registration prior to arrival. Registrations for stays that start within 72 hours have a $75 fee that we will add to your reservation. • EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT • $20 per hour - contact us to inquire about availability. • HOT TUB • The hot tub is cleaned and sanitized between each guest. Please see our house manual for additional information regarding the use of the hot tub. • COMMUNITY • We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. Please respect the community noise ordinance from 10 PM to 8 AM and be good neighbors. • SECURITY • To enhance security at the entrance, we have installed cameras at the front entrance facing the street/driveway. These cameras allow us to see and communicate with visitors at the front door. However, we also respect your privacy during your stay and want to reassure you that there are no cameras installed inside the house itself.
