Newly built waterview cottage situated on a 1.3 acre hillside lot overlooking the beautiful Little Harbour beach and Northumberland Strait. Also located just minutes from both Basin Head and Red Point provincial parks. This cozy 1200 square foot, 2 story cottage is perfect for multiple families looking for a getaway and is sure to meet all your vacation needs and more! The space Located just 5 minutes east of the town of Souris, this 1200 square foot water view cottage offers 3 bedrooms on the main level which can comfortably sleep 6 adults. Also on main level we have a full bathroom with washer and dryer. Room set up as follows, room 1 has 1 queen bed, room 2 has a double bed, and room 3 has a built-in double over double bunk bed. On the second floor you'll have a full kitchen, 1/2 bath and living space with 12' sliding glass door that opens onto a large balcony. My place is a mere 2 minute stroll down the lane to Sheep Pond Beach. Or drive 15 minutes to the world famous Basin Head Beach. Greenwich National Park is a great place to walk the trails and see the dunes or chose to bike the Confederation Trail. Golf courses are close by. Enjoy fine dining at Chef Michael Smiths Inn at Bay Fortune or buy your own seafood in St. Peters Bay and dine at home on the oceanview upper deck. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). The space ** 7 night minimum in July/August. Imagine yourself sitting on the veranda, sipping your morning coffee, listening to the waves crash in to shore. This breathtaking view and meticulously kept home could be your own slice of vacation paradise. 2 bedrooms on the main floor allow for an open concept kitchen living area on the 2nd floor, which leads out to a 10 x 24 veranda facing the water, where you can watch the Magdalene Island Ferry come and go, and even see the Cape Breton Highland on a clear day. Only a 2 minute walk to a beautiful white sandy beach. An additional 394 sq ft of patio allows for extra outdoor living. To top it all off... This home is equipped with a beach themed 'bunkie' for yourself or for guests. The bunkie has two large windows that provide you with water view the moment you wake up. Enjoy the ocean views from your wraparound deck over morning coffee prepared in your kitchenette, or pop next door to the in-house restaurant for a freshly prepared meal. Pick up a bottle of wine or shop for groceries after a short stroll into the town of Souris – just over the causeway. Seals, gulls, herons and bald eagles are regular commuters in this passage of water, and you can join them as a swimmer or on the two kayaks available for your use – launch them off the private dock out front! The suite may experience some noise from this part of the building, but sound proofing has minimized the sound transfer between public and private guest areas.
