We have a scheduled pool resurfacing planned for October, which will restore the pool’s appearance. Because we are located in Florida, factors such as high temperatures, humidity, frequent rain, pollen, and afternoon storms can occasionally affect the appearance of the water. While our pool is serviced regularly and kept safe for swimming, it may not always appear perfectly crystal clear every day of the year. Slight variations in water color or clarity can occur naturally between service visits, especially during periods of extreme heat or changing weather. As with many homes in Florida, you may occasionally see palmetto bugs (large outdoor insects common throughout the state, commonly confused for cockroaches) or small ants, especially during periods of heavy rain, heat, or humidity. Our home is professionally treated and regularly maintained for pest control, but because of Florida’s tropical climate, it is impossible to guarantee that an occasional insect will never enter from outside. To help minimize this, please keep doors and windows closed when not in use and avoid leaving food out. The home is located minutes from several beaches, a dog park, the Pinellas Trail and Greek town. Restaurants, breweries and fun community events are abundant. The space A bright & cheery space. This house is furnished with a mix of antiques and modern touches. It features a king bed in the master bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom, and a day-bed that expands to a king in the sun room. The original shiplap ceilings & walls add to the old Florida rustic feel but there is plenty of comfort in this space as well as sunny windows throughout. Upon entering the front sun room, there are multiple seating spaces to relax on and read a book, using the day bed and chair. There is also a designated work space. There's plenty of room in the living room for family with seating for five on the comfortable couch and arm chairs. With the smart flat-screen television, guests can continue to binge their favorite shows within the smart TV apps. WiFi is included and there are several spaces that can accommodate a work area. The smart thermostat makes adjusting the temperature a breeze! And the HVAC has a UV anti-microbial system. Off the living room, you'll find the dining room, but there's nothing formal about it. The spacious table is the perfect spot for meals, doing work or game nights. From the dining room, you'll find the bedrooms and single bathroom. In the larger bedroom, there is a comfortable king bed and large closet for all your needs. In the smaller bedroom you'll find a full bed and another large closet. The single bathroom has a dual vanity & two mirrors, making it easy for two to get ready. There is also a shower/tub combo. Chefs will feel at home in this well-appointed kitchen with new full-size appliances and everything you need to prepare a meal. A coffee bar offers complimentary coffee and tea. The breakfast nook in the kitchen hosts a round table and cozy seating for four. The kitchen leads into the laundry room with a full size washer and dryer available for your use. From the laundry room, there are two exits to the back yard oasis. One door leads to a large raised deck with seating that overlooks the back lawn, a perfect place for morning coffee. The other leads to the paver patio with more seating, firepit, outdoor dining area, grill, lounge chairs, astro-turfed cornhole and putting green area. The back yard is fenced and private with lush landscaping. You'd never have to leave, but if you choose to, you're near all Tarpon Springs has to offer. Minutes away from world class Greek restaurants and the historic Sponge Docks, five local breweries, a distillery, a winery, and dozens of quaint restaurants and shops. Beach chairs, an umbrella and beach towels are provided to enjoy the local beaches and parks. There is a doorbell security camera on the front, and three exterior perimeter cameras for the safety of our guests, our neighbors, and ourselves.. We look forward to hosting you! Guest access You will have private access to the entire home and large yard. However, there is a storage shed in the back yard that is not available for guests. Other things to note There are 4 exterior security cameras that record movement and audio. One on the front door and three monitoring the back and sides of the property. Visitors who remain in the home after 9 pm will be considered extra guests and you will be charged as such. Visitors are any persons not listed in the reservation. Quiet time is from 9 pm until 7am. Other things to note Boat dock is rated for boats up to 22 ft. FYI - their is a small bridge going from the house out to the gulf that can be pretty tight for boats with T- Tops at high tide. Their is also two public boat ramps within 10-15 minutes of the house to conveniently launch from.
