Songbirds in the flowering trees, and the occasional racoon peeking in from the hedges ensure you will feel far from everyday life. Down the meandering brick walkway you will see an adorable Captain's Cottage that can be rented at a discount, to provide additional sleeping for 3 with its own kitchen, bath and porches. Bayou Bungalow sleeps 10 to 12 comfortably, with 3 bedrooms (one is a bunkroom with 3 twin beds) and 2 modern bathrooms. the kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a French door refrigerator, a dishwasher and full size range and is fully equipped for cooking and dining. While the house is set up to utilize every square foot for guests maximum comfort there is no formal dining room. However there are multiple nooks for tete a tete dining, couches and chairs for lap dining, and 3 (yes 3) al fresco (one covered and enclosed) dining options to fit the whole group! 2 different dedicated work spaces and high speed internet provided. While the terraces and public spaces are relatively new and /or upfitted, the property is over a century in age. Your experiences, expectations and review upon departure should reflect the vintage, sometimes "wonky" aspects of life in a home this age. Also, please keep in mind that , although we do have regular pest control, including mosquito control, with a property in old Florida you are bound to experience an occasional "critter sighting" and these should be taken in stride. if you are looking for a modern, sterile environment, perhaps this space is not a good fit. Anything put in must burn with the mesh cover on it at all times. Scavenging for wood on the grounds or surrounding area is strictly prohibited. Due to the nature of the terraces there will be no dogs allowed. I will not rent to anyone under the age of 25. We have a STRICT no party policy and there is a city "quiet time" from 10pm to 7am. **PLEASE REVIEW ALL HOUSE POLICIES AND AT TIME TO LEAVE, THE CHECKOUT GUIDE** The space One of the first things I look for when booking a vacation home is one without carpet. Because there are so many things that can live in carpet, if I can find one without it, it automatically goes to the top of my list. If you are like me, then look no further. Our home has laminate and tile throughout that is thoroughly vacuumed and mopped between guests. To make sure that our guests have the best stay possible, please note that all linens are completely changed between guests. Only 3 steps into this one level totally renovated 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage. This beachy feel will help you sit back and relax. The 65 in TV has access to Prime & Netflix along with a DVD player & several movies. One small dog allowed. NO CATS. Your dog will need to put placed in your supplied kennel if you choose to leave your dog in the house. To keep the linens are covers in good condition, please do not allow your dog to sleep with you. Please bring a bed for your furry child. The space Newly renovated house in a quiet neighborhood. All furniture, mattresses, bedding, linens and LG washer and dryer are new. Two large bedrooms with ample closet space and shelves, plus benches for storage. Large deck and yard in the back The shed has a few beach supplies. Additional for those going to a beach. Camping style and low beach chairs are supplies. A 5th guest could stay for an additional fee of $30 per night. A queen air mattress and linens will be provided. Guest access The entire house is for the guests, One keypad code will be issued to the primary individual. The code will be used during the entire stay. Do not lock the door knob. There is a RING at the front door for your security. Other things to note I have furnished this house to accommodate myself and my family when we get the opportunity to go for a stay. I do hope you find all the comforts of your home while you are away. You will find games for ages 5&up. My three grandsons approve of these games. They enjoy sitting with family and having fun. I have added a fire pit so you can enjoy other aspects if weather allows. The backyard is open and quiet. One small dog (40 lbs or less) is permitted with a $20 per night additional fee. Bring your own kennel for your furry child to stay in if you choose to leave him at the house. Your dog must be on a leash the entire time on the property. The pet owner is responsible for picking the poop in the yard and hopefully none ever happens inside the house. If you want your dog to sit or sleep near you, please bring a blanket for it to lay on. Kenzie Cottage is a 1200 square foot circa 1935 home with original hardwood floors and charming built-in niches on a large lot with a fully fenced-in back yard. The cottage is located 6 blocks north of downtown Panama City. The space Kenzie has been completely renovated and furnished with top-of-the line mattresses and linens and cellular blackout shades in the bedrooms. The full kitchen comes with a toaster, coffee maker (coffee, filters, sweeteners, and creamers included) cutlery, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and knives. There's a laundry room with washer and dryer, ironing board and iron. There are several outdoor areas for guests to enjoy, including front and rear patios. The large, fully fenced-in yard is great for kids and dogs. The fence we share with our neighbor, The Chautauqua School, consists of hand painted murals by local artist Heather Parker. Over the fireplace hangs a 65-inch smart TV with cable and Roku. Guest access Guests have the entire house and fenced-in yard to themselves.
