Only 3 minutes from downtown Ellijay & 15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge! Perfect for the traveler who likes to explore the areas of Gilmer and Fannin County. This smoke free and pet free unit was completely remodelled in 2023. The kitchen is provided with a hot cook top but no conventional oven. Only counter top oven. The space After arriving at the paved driveway and parking your car, you will step onto the spacious porch that leads you to the front door, which opens to a cozy open-concept living room. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, one equipped with a king bed and one with a queen bed, 2 full bathrooms, and a spacious well-equipped kitchen with dining area. We offer a 2 burner electric cook top for your cooking needs. Additionally we provide a small counter top oven. The cozy cabin is ideal for 2 couples, friends or a family of 4. As a bonus, there is a washer and dryer for all your laundry needs. Across the street from the lot spans, a long stretch of now-unused historical train tracks. Restaurants and shopping, including Mountain Cinemas, Walmart, McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks, Longhorn Steakhouse, and so much more, are only a 5 min drive away. Guest Access & Important Notes: Guests have full access to the property and all resort amenities. Access cards (hanging on the antler hooks) are required for the resort’s pools, gym, arcade, and sports courts. Please note that lost cards incur a $40 replacement fee. To maintain the tranquility of the area, we kindly ask guests to avoid parties and keep noise to a minimum from 10PM to 8AM. Other things to note If you are visiting during the winter months and the forecast calls for snow/ice, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is suggested in order to more easily travel the roads throughout our community and to our cabin.  The HOA does not allow large trailers, campers, or vehicles that exceed 26ft to keep the community quiet and more secluded.  Our beautiful cabin rests on a hillside, overlooking the river. At the ground floor level, guests have access to all of the living space and the main deck, but the firepit, hot tub, and river deck require guests to descend two flights of stairs.  In the winter, a hot tub water exchange can take several hours to reach the desired temperature, so please turn up the hot tub heat upon arrival if you plan to use it.  The indoor fireplace is unavailable for use from April 1 to October 1. We hope you’ll enjoy the neon sign for some extra mood lighting during the warmer summer months!  After each guest, we thoroughly clean the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub may not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon your arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should never be set above 104 degrees for health reasons.  The property is regularly sprayed for bugs, but please note that you’re visiting the forest and our bug friends live in and around the river and forest. You’ll likely see a friend or two if you leave the doors or windows open.  Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. Designed for dogs, it features two fenced play areas, a fire pit, and mountain views—perfect for relaxing getaways with your furry family 🐾 The space The 800 sq ft cottage was originally built in 1940 and has been thoughtfully updated while preserving its unique character. The previous owners operated a free-range mini farm, where chickens, cats, roosters, bunnies, and turkeys once roamed freely across the land—adding to the property’s rich and charming history. After acquiring the home in Fall 2022, we completed several upgrades to enhance both comfort and functionality. The bathroom was fully renovated, a custom kitchen cabinet was built, closets were refreshed, and new lighting was added throughout the home. A dishwasher was also installed to make your stay more convenient. Outside, the front patio was extended and a new roof and a ceiling fan was added to fully cover the space, creating a welcoming spot to relax. The bright red metal roof and matching front and back doors add a cheerful touch you’ll notice right away. The back porch—visible as you arrive—was completely redesigned with safety and comfort in mind. A gate was installed to help keep your dogs secure, and stairs lead down to a smaller fenced area. Inside, the cottage offers two king-size beds, convenient bedside lighting with charging options, and a cozy dining area with a butcher block table. Every detail was designed to create a relaxed, comfortable stay for both you and your dogs. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and outdoor areas, with the exception of the crawlspace, utility room, and any locked owner or cleaner closets. Please note that the property is clearly marked by wooden gates and natural boundaries. Please be considerate and do not go beyond these areas, as neighboring land is private property. Just drive slowly and enjoy the scenery. Keep an eye out for our neighborhood deer! Entry There is a keypad located at the front door for a simple keyless entry. Entry code will be provided to you 24 hours before arrival. The code is changed after every guest. Your code will not be active until your check in time. Parking Park in the circular driveway. We consider this part of the charm of the log cabin. We provide propane for the grill and indoor fireplace but do not provide firewood for the fire pit, please plan accordingly. We do have a neighbor on either side of this cabin. The one on the left is a rental. We have a privacy screen mounted, but you may hear guest noise when rented. The spacious screened-in porch that overlooks the creek is the perfect place to have a meal, take a nap, read a good book, or all of the above! It comes complete with all the sounds of nature in the background.  Inside the experience continues…..The great room’s focal point is the beautiful river rock wood burning fireplace, a 50” flat screen TV and plenty of windows to take in the woodsy mountain setting. The well-equipped kitchen with dining area has everything you need to whip up some fabulous meals.  There are two King Master Suites in this home, one on the main level and one on the upper level, both equally luxurious.
