This property overlooks the greenway to the Beech Mountain Club and is steps away from the clubhouse!   Walk up the steps inside to find a high ceiling, open-concept kitchen and living room. Enjoy a cup of coffee from the deck just steps from the kitchen, or stay warm inside and watch the snow fall through the floor-to-ceiling windows. There's enough seating for everyone to cozy up around the kitchen table, or settle in for a movie night. On the main floor is a Queen bedroom with private deck access.   Down the staircase you'll find the King master with a twin sleeper sofa for any extra guests. This room features a large private deck, with full outdoor seating area for those looking to enjoy some private space outdoors. There's also a large-screen TV and beautiful exposed beams.  Down the hall from the master king is a bunk room fit for all the little ones in the family! The best part is, it's only steps away from the game room! This home is located conveniently in the heart of all the action, but if you find yourself wanting to stay in for the day, you'll have no shortage of fun activities to keep yourselves entertained.   This home is also only steps away from the Beech Mountain clubhouse, this home comes with the ability to request Beech Mountain Club membership privileges (Beech Mountain Club access fees apply-currently only allowing a transfer of membership. The club has a gorgeous private 18-hole, ridge-top golf course featuring spectacular views of mountain ranges in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. 10 clay tennis courts, outdoor heated swimming pool, pickleball and a wonderful fitness facility. A fully stocked coffee bar is ready for you to start your day right. After the day's adventures, cozy up around the gas fireplace and unwind with your favorite shows or a movie on the living room smart TV that includes full access to house accounts for Hulu Live TV, ESPN+ and Disney+. The full kitchen has all you need to prepare meals for your entire group, with a full range of cooking equipment and utensils. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home. Compared to similar units in the area, our home has an air conditioning unit to cool the main level and loft during the summer and a gas fireplace to warm up during the winter. You can also enjoy the outdoors on our spacious deck, which can accommodate a grill and patio table. Our unit is one of the larger units, with 3 bedrooms on the lower level and a semi-private loft. Our parking can accommodate 3 cars with a shared circle drive. We are only 2 minutes away from Beech Mountain Ski Resort. The space The property has three levels. The main level consists of three bedrooms and a full bathroom with laundry facilities. One bedroom has a king-sized bed, another has a king-sized bed, and the third bedroom contains a trundle bed, a full futon, and a bunk bed. On the second floor, there is a full bathroom, a kitchen with an island that seats 4, a dining room that seats 8, and a living room with a gas fireplace. The third floor is a semi-private loft. Unlike other units in the area, our loft does not have a see-through half-wall. It also features a half bath and a queen bed. The loft offers the best sunrise views! Guest access You will have full access to the townhouse. The property is a half mile from the Beech Ski Resort parking lot (a two-minute drive). The property is at the top of a ridge, and the Beech Mt. parking lot is at the bottom of the mountain. You will want to drive to the parking lot. It would be a hike up to the chalet. You will have full access to the townhouse. The property is located half a mile from the Beech Ski Resort parking lot, which is just a two-minute drive away. The property is situated at the top of a ridge, while the Beech Mt. parking lot is located at the bottom of the mountain. It's recommended to drive to the parking lot, as it would be quite a hike up to the chalet. We have a membership to Beech Mt Club, which offers access to golf, tennis, pickleball, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and exclusive restaurants only available to members. During the winter, there is a restaurant at Beech Mt exclusively for members. For a $300 transfer fee, you can enjoy these amenities during your stay. Other things to note This is a 1970's townhouse, you must be able to go up and down steps. *Please note: this is a very typical A-frame style home that is common to Beech Mountain. This means there are some staircases that are a bit steep and narrow. If you are traveling with infants, seniors, senior dogs, or anyone with mobility issues, this could potentially pose a challenge. The hot water works very well. Please be careful with young children. The ice maker does not work; however, there are ice cube trays, and at Fred’s general store, you can buy purchase bags of ice and other grocery items. If using the futon, underneath the futon, there is a foam pad, and in a bin, there are sheets with a mattress cover in a bin un. Please use the mattress cover. The coffee maker takes pods or grounds as it is the duo ninja coffee maker. There is a mesh filter for the coffee grinds. There are instructions on how to switch from pods to grounds and vice versa. Always leave the black brew basket, inserted, whether you are using the pods or inserting the mesh filter for grounds. There is a printer, Epson XP – 310, Wi-Fi ready and there is a cable to connect your computer to the printer. Please leave this cable in the information binder for the home. If you are staying several weeks at the property and need a printer for work you may want to bring ink and paper for the printer. When using the grill, please burn off any grease, cheese, or meat left on it. Set a timer so you don’t forget the grill is on and close the propane tank. To access Beech Mt. Club for golf, pool, tennis, etc., you need to fill out paperwork a minimum of three business days before your visit. There is a $300 fee to transfer membership during your stay, paid to Beech Mt Club. Let me know if you are interested in accessing these amenities.

The Black Bear’s Den is located just 8 minutes from downtown Banner Elk and only 9 minutes from Beech Mtn. Ski resort offering both convenience and tranquility. The open concept creates a warm, inviting space where family and friends can gather—whether you’re relaxing by the fireplace or taking in the surrounding mountain view’s. The space This home was thoughtfully designed with guest comfort in mind, offering the perfect blend of style, space, and functionality. Enjoy preparing home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with everything you need for a seamless stay. The house comes fully stocked with all cruelty free and less toxic cleaning and beauty products. There are two dining areas with seating for up to 10 guests, along with four additional stools at the custom-built kitchen island—ideal for gathering and entertaining. Just off the kitchen, you’ll find Bedroom #1, the spacious primary suite featuring a king bed, walk-in closet, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a freestanding soaking tub. Bedroom #2 is also located on the main level and offers a cozy queen bed with a convenient Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Both bedrooms are equipped with smart TVs and pull-down blackout shades for added comfort and privacy. A laundry room is also conveniently located on this floor. Step outside from the living room or primary suite onto the back deck, where you can unwind in a beautifully designed outdoor space featuring covered dining, a gas grill, comfortable seating, and a gas fire pit—perfect for relaxing evenings in the fresh mountain air. The lower level offers a second living area, providing plenty of room for guests to spread out and enjoy. Gather around the fireplace, mix a drink at the bar, or challenge friends and family to a game of pool. Just outside, the lower deck invites you to relax in Adirondack chairs or soak in the hot tub. On this level, you’ll find Bedroom #3, featuring a queen bed, a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, a smart TV, and blackout shades. Bedroom #4 is the bunk room, complete with two sets of twin bunk beds and access to the shared bathroom—perfect for kids or larger groups. While this room does not include a TV, it is equipped with blackout shades to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Please note that our home is nestled in a natural mountain setting surrounded by trees and open land. As such, you may occasionally encounter insects or small wildlife native to the area. We take proactive measures, including regular professional pest control, to minimize any disruptions; however, if you experience any concerns during your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Gourmet Kitchen w/ dbl ovens, stocked w/Spices. The space This home features a very open floor plan. The kitchen and living room has floor to ceiling windows that spans the entire length of the front of the home for easy viewing. For those that love to cook, you'll find every kitchen gadget and spice imaginable as well as serving utensils and dishes. Kitchen has built in USB ports in the island for charging devices. Large custom built dining table that seats 8 to 10. The Livingroom has a wood stove that keeps the large room toasty on cold nights. This home has 2 master suites with King beds and connecting bathrooms. In one master bedroom we have a ottoman that opens into a twin bed that is great for small children. The third bedroom also has a king bed. In addition there is a Bunk Bed with 1 Full & 1 Twin bed available in a pass through room. Enjoy the large covered wrap around deck with gas fire table. Guest access Guest have full access to the upper level of the home as well as the grill on the deck. Other things to note We have a single outdoor security camera by the entry door. The lower level is a separate space called Mountain Charmer. During winter months it is essential to have 4 wheel drive or snow chains to navigate the mountain roads. We do have a parking area at the street level which is handy to use when there is a lot of snow on the ground. Another great feature about our property is that our road is paved and plowed frequently during wintry weather.

Welcome to Aspen Acres, a spacious cabin in the heart of Beech Mountain. Take a break from reality and surround yourself with loved ones and nature. Whether you're hitting the slopes or hiking trails, you'll have a tranquil place to call home during your stay in the Pisgah National Forest. Cozy up next to the fire pit fore some s'mores, relax in the hot tub, and say hello to the neighborhood deer. Anything is possible at Aspen Acres. The space This house is a beautiful 4 bedroom 3.5 bath house 1.5 miles from the slopes. Main floor has master with King size bed and master bath, half bath, and great room with new Pottery Barn sofa and loveseat (January 2021) and beautiful stone fireplace. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen) and one full bathroom. Loft has twin bed. The 4th bedroom is in basement with full bath. There is also a futon in the basement den along with a 65” TV. All 4 bedrooms have TVs as well. Kitchen is equipped and includes coffee maker, Keurig, and crockpot. Our home also has A/C. Other things to note We have a strict no-pet policy.

You can walk to the slopes because this house is situated almost ski-in-ski-out! Detach yourself from work and balance your life in the high country. Highland Haus sits at over 4000 feet of elevation making it cool even in the summer months! The space This home sleeps 10+. There is a master suite, kitchen, dining, and 1/2 bath on the main floor. There are three Bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a utility room and a bonus TV/multi use room downstairs. Though we are NOT Ski in Ski Out this home is walking distance to Beech Mountain Resort and lifts by way of a short moderately steep path from the side staircase to Skiview road. When you enter the house, you are greeted by two large sliding glass doors that bring in a plethora of light and open concept kitchen, dining, and living space featuring tongue & groove throughout and a warm cabin feel! The large dining room table seats 8 people and the live edge breakfast bar another 4 making the main space easily house 12 people during meal times. The spacious updated kitchen has ample counter space and is outfitted with all essential needs including a dish washer. The main upstairs bedroom has a cozy king size bed and a full bathroom. This provides a large private space that can be used to get away. Downstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and a bonus room. The lower level is accessed by the spiral staircase inside or from outdoor stairs. The bunk room has 4 twin size beds and located close to the second full bathroom. This bathroom is shared with the 2nd bedroom which has a full-size bed and plenty of space for your belongings. The downstairs suite is spacious, has a queen-size bed, flat screen TV, access to the lower-level deck, and a private bathroom. The bonus room is a large multi-use space. Bring your air mattresses if you need some extra places to sleep or use this as a snow room to relax and unwind after coming back from the slopes! Finally, attached to the bonus is the utility room with the washer and dryer. Outside is a large two-tier deck with a grill and a 4-person table. The upper-level deck has some pretty year-round views. This is our favorite place in the whole house. We are constantly making updates to the house. In addition to the new metal roof, we recently we have replaced all the windows and the two sliding glass doors! Guest access Flat gravel parking is on-site with space for up to 4 vehicles. The whole house is open to guests. Please enjoy responsibly. You will find that the closet in the Rec Room and the Crawl space below the house are closed to guests. Other things to note 1. Stairs are required. The house is not handicap accessible. 2. The house is naturally aspirated. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING. Window and floor fans are provided and can be found in the closets. 3. Wedling Weg is a winding road and plowed regularly in the winter. Despite this, please be prepared to drive in snow if you are staying in the winter!

There is a loft, full bathroom and bedroom with a single over queen bed upstairs. Convenient to everything in Beech Mountain including ski resort, sledding hill, restaurants, brewery, and shops! Easy access and flat parking off the city maintained and plowed street. If you are staying in winter you WILL need 4 wheel drive and chains! The roads can be hazardous. Cleaning fee includes linens, towels and bed making. This is a pet friendly home allowing up to two dogs less than 70 lbs each for a fee of $200.
