With a clear view to the lake, you'll be quickly tempted to take the few short and easy steps down to the dock where you're welcome to enjoy the canoe, floats and lifejackets. Lake Lanier Getaway is well-equipped for remote working & remote schooling. The fast cable internet with break-time lake activities, remote work and school are a perfect life experience. The lower level includes a laundry room and outside access to a comfortable screened-in porch and beautiful views of the lake. My Lake Lanier Getaway has a large screened-in porch, upper deck with patio table sets, a grill area and several intimate outside seating areas. The 3 minute walk down to the lake is a flight of stairs through a lush selection of Mountain Laurel, Rhododendron and Azalea as well as a cute resting bench 1/2way down and then on to my 2-story dock at the end of the trail. From the deck at my lakehouse you can sit and enjoy the lake views as well as the water activities at the dock. The 2-story dock is situated in 'deep' water. If you love to fish, you will delight in all the bait fish you can catch right off the dock. If water sports are your thing, you will be pleased with how many toys I have around the dock. My outside areas provide plenty of places to dine, entertain, romp in the woods or just sit back and watch the lake. Kayaking: You may use our kayaks if you are wearing a life jacket (provided in the shed). Children under the age of 10 are not allowed to use the kayak without an adult. Use the remote to turn on the tv and when you turn it off it will go back to the painting photo. Game Garage: Ping pong, shuffle board, poker table, dart board and putting green. Lawn games: bocce ball and frisbee. Yoga mats. Please do not leave kids unattended in the garage. Kitchen: ALL food particles after meals and cooking need to be thrown in the trash, we DO NOT have a garbage disposal in our sink and any food particles down the drain can clog the septic system. Do not place hot pans directly on the countertop, use the trivets/pads provided. We provide salt, pepper, and olive oil, tinfoil for cooking. There is ground coffee, cream and sugar packets to get you started for a day or 2 but you may want to bring more. We provide 1 dishwasher tab per each night of your stay. The space My 3-story home is nestled down a lush, wooded hillside. The downhill driveway provides privacy as well as a closer view and walk to the lake. The private platform dock is in plenty of water (narrow, private cove, but with steep underwater terrain) with room to tie up boats & jet skis, as well as room to play in the water with my water toys and sturdy ladder to help you out of the water. I feel like the water is fresher and cleaner up here, further north due to the Chestatee River flowing through just seconds away. Hidden Gem is perfectly suited for remote working & remote schooling. The fast cable internet with break-time lake activities, remote work and school are a perfect life experience. Hidden Gem lakehouse cabin is well-appointed with 3 floors providing privacy for everyone. The 4 bedrooms each have an attached bath. The layout consists of 2 bedrooms with a Jack & Jill bath on the upper floor, master bedroom with attached bath on the main floor, additional bedroom with attached bath on the lower floor. The main floor also includes the kitchen with granite countertops and a window seat/ breakfast nook, a dining area with 12 foot bench wall and large table, family room with wood burning fireplace that is open to a huge 3-sided glass sunroom, perfect for bird watching and 'Oh, the views!'. The sunroom feels like a glass treehouse that is suspended over the lake. Comfortably furnished for coffee, cocktails or a well-deserved nap, the sunroom is one of my favorite spots! The lower terrace level features a 400+ square foot bonus room including a queen bedroom with attached bath, built in bunk beds, queen bed & laundry room and outside access to a comfortable porch and views of the lake. My lakehouse has a large covered porch, upper deck with patio table set, a grill area and several intimate outside seating areas. The 3 minute walk to the lake is a short flight of stairs through a lush selection of Mountain Laurel, Rhododendron and Azalea and then on to the 2nd dock at the end of a level path. My private platform dock is situated close to the mouth of the cove in 'deep' water. ***Please note the dock is the 2nd and last set of steps on the path to the lake. If you love to fish, you will delight in all the bait fish you can catch right off the dock. If water sports are your thing, you will be pleased with how many toys I have around the dock. Please be cautious and always wear a life jacket. The house actually has four bedrooms, even thought the listing only says two. This is partially because we don't want to attract huge parties and also because of a discrepancy with city records. We apologize for any confusion! Renters have access to the entire house! There is a pack-n-play and a highchair, children's books, puzzles, and games for the entire family. Blackout shades or curtains in all bedrooms. Paraben-free and cruelty-free shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all showers. Tear-free shampoo in the master. There's 1 full bath plus a half bath on the main level. The main level living space overlooks the woods and lake with access to the deck. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked with most anything you might need while traveling. You will love the jetted tub as well as the comfy king bed. (You will have the entire place to yourselves as the basement portion is currently being used as storage.) The space You will have a 600 square foot studio with a fully stocked kitchen(spices, olive oil, a variety of coffee choices, creamers, and sweeteners and much more),luxury bathroom complete with a jetted tub, heated floors, tv, tiled shower, hairdryer, robes, and fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and most any other toiletry item you might need. You will also have a comfy king sized bed with a dining area and loveseat. Outside you will have a covered front porch with a gas firepit and grill and a newly added side deck with views of the lake. Guest access I am on the lake but do not have a dock. However, I live right around the corner and if you let me know ahead of time, you can come and hang on my dock. I have parking for a large truck and boat at the top portion of my property with newly added steps down to the front porch, and the public boat ramp is only two miles away. Other things to note We live right around the corner on the lake with a dock. We have two kayaks available for rent with access to the lake from our dock.
