The space The Carriage Inn Harrison, formerly a bed and breakfast, has been renovated and reopened as a vacation rental. Flexible space allows for any variety of visitors, from couples looking for a romantic getaway to large reunions. The breathtaking property consists of three buildings on approximately 127 acres of woods complete with walking trails across the street from and overlooking Budd Lake. The buildings are available for rental individually or together. The grounds will be shared by all renters of the three buildings but are no longer open to the public. There is a firepit and miles of walking trails in the woods. All buildings are dog-friendly with additional pet deposit. The grounds are mostly fenced with a large parking area and gated entrance. Budd Lake has public access with boat put-in directly across the street. This listing is for the Lake House only. The Lake House is the second largest building between the Carriage House and Budd Lake (across the street from the Inn). There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a living area with large windows overlooking the lake. The living area and bedrooms have real wood floors. There is a working fireplace in the living area and another large deck off the front where you can sit and enjoy the lake view. The Fireplace Suite and hall bath can be locked off from the rest of the house for privacy when travelling with a group. There are two bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs. Relax with the whole family or with friends at this peaceful place to stay. It's a spacoous, private home nestled in the woods overlooking a large pond. You get the feeling of being up north with the convenience of being 5 minutes from the heart of Harrison. Close to Leota ORV Trailhead, Snowsnake Ski & Golf, Rocks and Valleys Off-Road Park, and Duggan's Canoe Livery. Also, there are 20 lakes within 20 minutes! This updated chalet offers 3 bedrooms, and 2 full baths and sleeps 7-8 people. The space The chalet is private and secluded. There's plenty of room to roam indoors and outside. The home boasts a greatroom with floor to celing windows to take advantage of the large pond and wooded views. It has an additional loft that overlooks the greatroom and has a separate seating area, balcony, large tv, a single futon, and blow-up mattress for additional guests. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The primary bedroom has a king bed and is on the main floor. The other downtair's bedroom has a full bed and single futon. The third bedroom is upstairs and has a full bed. Each bedroom has a tv with Roku or FireTv. The Wi-fi is fast, too! Both bathrooms have showers/tub and are on the main floor. Outdoors, you 'll have access to a large fire pit for those late night gatherings and a horseshoe pit for daytime fun. There is a charcoal grill for cooking bbq on the expansive wrap around deck that has ample seating for both dining and relaxing. Bring your own charcial and lighter fluid. The driveway can accommodate multiple cars with trailers carrying your seasonal toys. This is a great place for friends and family to gather. It's roomy, quiet, and private. There are also Ring cameras outside for your added security. There are no cameras in the home. One of the best things about the location is that it is centrally located from other destination cities up north like Houghton Lake, Cadillac, West Branch, Mt Pleasant, and Grand Rapids making it an alternate and affordable option. You can either explore places in Harrison or take a day trip to Birch Run Premium Outlets, Dow Gardens, or Mackinac Island. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house except the attic and garage. There is a spacious wrap around porch and front porch to take in the views. (Please do not let children access the balcany off the loft). Kick back on the ample seating outdoors and take in the view of the large pond. Also, you can relax by the firepit in the backyard or take in a friendly game of horseshoes. Other things to note We only allow dogs. There is a $50 pet fee and a limit of 2 dogs including service dogs. A $50 fee will be charged separately for the 2nd dog. Your dogs must be fully housebroken and pee or poop outside. No pee pads or the like are allowed indoors. You must pick up and dispose of all your pet's waste. We don't allow dogs on the furniture or beds. You must also crate your dogs when they are left unattended. Early check-ins or late check-outs can be arranged for an additional fee ranging from $25 to $50. This must be set up in advance due to our short turnover time. Anyone who does not fully check out by 2 pm, will be charged for another day's stay. If we have guest's arriving on the same day, all guests must leave at 11 am unless they get prior permission from the host. Guest may not check in early unless they get permission from the host. If you check in early without asking, you will automatically be charged $25, plus $25 for each hour before 11 am. No parties or large gatherings are allowed. You must notify the host in advance if you plan on having visitors. Only guests on the booking can spend the night or stay for an extended period of time. No mail or packages can be delivered to the house. Food deliveries are fine. Lost or misplaced keys will be charged $100. We have to replace the keyless entry lock, not just the key. We only give a key to our guests for unusual circumstances. You will be given a unique code prior to your check in. No smoking of any kind is allowed in the home. You must smoke at least 6 feet from any doorway or window. You will be fined $300 for smoking in the home. Do not move or relocate any of the household furniture or bring in any furniture of your own. We have hardwood floors and do not want the floors or walls damaged. Do not wear your shoes on the carpeted areas, especially during winter months or wet seasons. Absolutely no alterations or repairs can be made to the structure or the property without first consulting the host and getting their permission. Failure to do so will result in a termination of your stay without a refund. You may not hang or attach banners or balloons to the walls, ceiling, cabinets, or furnishings. Do not tamper with the refrigerator panel, Wi-fi router, modem, Roku devices, tvs, Echo, or Ring cameras. The Echo does not have a camera activated. It is for voice commands only. The Ring cameras are required by our insurance carrier and are located outside. If you unplug any of these devices or change their settings, your stay will be terminated without a refund. Do not charge movies unless it is directly billed to your account(s). You may use your own logins to sign in to tv aps if they are not already accessible. Hunters are welcome to stay, but no guns/rifles are allowed to be kept inside the home. Please leave them in your vehicle. No gutting deer, fish, or animals is permitted anywhere on the property. Just be mindful during your stay that this is a short-term rental and families with children and pets will occupy the home after you leave. It could pose a safety issue if your firearms were hidden and left behind or their dog got a hold of decaying animal parts or bones. We have a charcoal BBQ grill. Do not move the grill. Please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Make sure you clean the grill after each use and put the cover back on the grill. Firewood is to be used sparingly. It has to last until winter for other guests to enjoy. Plus, a large fire and it's ashes can spread easily and get out of control real fast. Feel free to use as much kindling as you want to start and keep your fire going. There are utensils to roast marshmallows or hot dogs in the closet next to the kitchen. Just wash them and put them back. Please make sure not to leave the firepit lit and unattended. Use the garden hose to put out the fire/embers.

Hart Haven located across the street from Budd Lake with views of the lake and public lake access just across the street. The back yard is wooded and private. Enjoy a bonfire after a day on the water or other outdoor activities. Enjoy this open concept cottages and its all the comforts of home. Coffee bar and dry bar add to the amenities. You will make fond memories with friend and family at Hart Haven. The space There are 3 bedrooms and an extra living space with a futon. Guest access The cottage is located on one of the roads that goes around the lake and is perfect for walking. There is ample parking for cars and a boat at the cottage. Boat dock is available nearby on a first come basis for an additional fee. Keypad entry. Other things to note The cottage is not on the lake, but across the street from it. The cottage offers views of the lake and public access across the street. Public boat launch is a short drive from the house.

The space No lake views but the public beach is 9 houses away so load up your boat kayaks fishing rods Side by sides golf clubs and whatever else you can think of and throw your cloths in the truck. I have pinpointed the exact location on the map of the rental that you will be staying at. The home is situated in a quite neighborhood with paved roads right to your door for the ones that don't like mud on their tires and the ones that do your in luck we have dirt road 3/4 mile away that can take you to the Leota Trail The driveway is long enough to hold a truck trailer and a couple of cars with additional lawn parking. The Living Room has space to sit and relax and if desired watch some Movies on the flat screen smart Tv. That's right we have high speed internet bring your gaming council or use our prepaid Sling or Netflix subscriptions to watch a movie. Let me mention that there is heat and central air at this property (look for the smart touch screen thermostat on the wall in the hallway) Adjust to your preference. The full kitchen boasts granite surface counter gas range microwave 4 slice toaster air fryer crockpot Coffee pot with supplied coffee French door fridge to make unpacking easy and for those after meal quick clean ups there is a double dishwasher pots pans in one everything else in the other (dish soaps are supplied). The Bathroom has double sinks allowing more than one to get ready at the same time. The shower has excellent water pressure as this property has a new 5 inch deep well and a large hot water tank allowing 4 or more persons to shower back to back. Towels and soaps provided. Where you will sleep Bedroom1 queen size bed with flat screen smart Tv. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. Bedroom 3 has a double bed and a flat screen Smart Tv and all beds are comfy with pillows sheets blankets supplied, as you should be entitled to a good nights sleep. Have more Guests we have you covered with a queen air mattress found in bedroom closet to use in living room w/sheets pillows, blankets and a quarter to decide who gets it, or pitch a tent out back which I unfortunately do not supply, but feel free to bring yours. Speaking of outside in the back there is a deck with a table and 6 comfortable chairs and additional bag chairs in the dock box. Their is a 5 burner gas grill for use to cook your meals on and I also supply the propane. In the evenings you can enjoy sitting around the campfire and you guessed it there is seasoned firewood on site for your use not to mention the back of the lot is wooded giving you some privacy. For the Cornhole professionals having a hard time finding room in your truck because you packed too much beer there is one on site. Budd Lake Beach is close by. Half mile to town, or boat launch, 20 minutes to Leota , Houghton Lake, Lake George and more. Skiing, Hunting, Hiking, Golfing, ORV. Trails, and more. ADDITIONAL NOTES There is NO SMOKING of any form of tobacco products or drugs of any kind allowed in the home Do it outside PLEASE be respectful of future Guests that will be staying after you. Enjoy this beautiful, quaint “Red Log Cabin” right on Budd Lake. Great for a family trip, romantic getaway, or a golf, hunting, fishing, skiing, or snowmobile excursion. An up-north rustic feel, but partially refurnished with charming decor and some modern amenities: full kitchen, washer/dryer, air conditioning. Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, large deck facing lake. For use: yard and water games, kayaks, mountain bikes, and golf clubs. Inquire about renting our pontoon as well. The space The cabin is quaint, charming and rustic, but with some modern convenient amenities. There is plenty of room for a family. There are two private bedrooms, and two additional beds in the living room area. There is a small bathroom with a space efficient shower, and a full kitchen. Very comfortable and peaceful, with a beautiful wood burning fireplace inside. Large yard with a small private beach and a dock right on the lake. You'll have a lot of room for parking in a long grass/dirt driveway. Pontoon is available for rent as well. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire cabin. Other things to note Budd Lake is a 175-acre lake in Clare County. Wilson State Park, a 36-acre wooded area with 160 campsites, borders the lake with a sandy beach. A large fish population of bluegill, muskie, bass, pike, pan fish, perch and walleye inhabit the lake. Besides fishing, pleasure boating and water-skiing are also popular activities. A modern concrete launch ramp is located on the south end of the lake and mooring is allowed along the lake’s shoreline. There is ice-fishing in the winter, and plenty of hunting areas and golf locations nearby. There are several dine in and take out restaurants in town, as well as gas stations, a drug store and a grocery store, all less than a 5 minute drive around the lake.

Our 3 bedroom cabin is campground/state park themed, and has a large outdoor fenced yard, firepit, lots of parking for your boat, camper, RV, or ATV, and even two "camping" sites in front, for tent camping. Bring the family and even the dogs and enjoy all that northern Michigan has to offer. The space This former hunting cabin has been in our family and enjoyed for over 30 years. We made some upgrades and added a laundry and master bedroom. We have used and stored boats, ATV's, and several campers at the property and have had extra guests camp in tents out front. We are five minutes from Wilson State Park, Saxton Park, and Budd Lake, with a public access boat ramp. There are 20 lakes within 20 minutes of the property. In the Summer, there is fishing, boating, swimming and hiking. In the Winter, there is skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and snowshoeing. We are near Snow Snake Ski & Golf Resort, and Rocks and Valleys Off-Road Park, and Leota Trails, for jeeps, motorcycles and ATV's. And of course there are a variety of hunting seasons. Hiking trails are prevalent throughout Clare and Roscommon County and too many to mention here. The property is on a large corner lot that backs up to a forested area, and Veteran's Memorial Park. We are "pet friendly"! There is a one time $50.00 fee (plus Airbnb added surcharges & taxes) per pet added to the reservation. Maximum of 4 pets. No breed or size restrictions. Pet fees are NOT automatically added to a booking. We just want to make sure guests are informed of this :) Failure to let us know you brought a pet will result in a $50 fee, billed through the resolution center after checkout. Our home offers a peaceful, rural farm stay experience designed for relaxation and connection with nature. You may see wildlife such as deer and hear the natural sounds of the countryside during your stay. We provide Starlink WiFi, which is typically strong enough for streaming and video calls; however, speeds can vary due to location and weather. You have access to two kayaks, a SUP board, and a canoe. There's plenty of outdoor seating for bbqs, campfires, or watching the beautiful sunsets and Fall colors. Minutes from town, Leota ORV Trailhead, Snowsnake Ski and Golf, The Tamaracks Golf, and Rocks and Valleys Off-Road Park. Also, Harrison has 20 lakes in 20 minutes! The space The cabin is situated on Lake Sutherland. You have a private beach and dock. There is a rowboat with an electric motor, a canoe, a SUP board, and two kayaks. The driveway is steep, but useable. There is enough parking on top of the hill for three vehicles if you don't want to use the driveway. The cabin interior is rustic and has that Up North charm. The bedroom has a full bed. The living room has a couch bed that converts to a queen-size bed. The porch has a full-size couch with views of the lake. There are plenty of outdoor spaces to relax, eat, and hang out. You are surrounded by trees and water to the north. So expect to see the occasional bug and other insects, critters, and wildlife around the cabin. Guest access Off-road parking is available, but do not use the neighbor's driveway to enter or exit the property. Also, there is a keyless entry for self check in. Other things to note Pets are welcome. There is a $50 pet fee for each pet and a maximum of 2 pets. A $100 fine per pet, in addition to the pet fee(s), will be charged for any pet(s) that is not listed on your reservation. No smoking or vaping inside the cabin. Please smoke at least 6 feet from any doorway or window. You will be charged $300 if you smoke indoors. Lost or misplaced keys will be charged $100 for the house key and $25 for the shed key. We have to replace the keyless entry lock for the cabin, not just a key. In most cases, you will be given a code to access the cabin. Please make sure you put the shed key back on the key rack each time you use it. No mail or packages can be delivered to the home. Food deliveries are fine. We have a water well and septic tank. Do not flush anything down the toilet except for the toilet paper provided. The water is drinkable. However, you can bring your own water bottles and bagged ice if you prefer. There is a gas BBQ grill with a spare tank in the shed in case you run out of propane. Please clean the grill after each use so the next guest can enjoy a clean BBQ experience. We have a firepit down by the water with 4 chairs. We s provide senough wood to get you started . If you bring your own wood, please get it locally to prevent the spread of diseases. There are 2 kayaks, a canoe. and a row boat. If you use the boats, please place them face down alongside the fire pit when your done. If you use the motor, put it back along with battery in the shed before you leave. Please make sure to connect the battery to the charger. Also, always bring the oars when using the motor with the row boat in case the battery runs out of juice. The bathroom tub and tile surround as well as the vanity sink are new in 2024. New ceiling tiles in the bedroom and bathroom in 2024. New pavers from steps to cabin installed in 2O24. New well pump in 2024. Wood blinds installed in 2024. New flooring on porch in 2024. Fireplace logs with remote new in 2024. The fireplace is turned off mid May thru early September. It is not the main source of heat in the cabin. Please use the minisplit to heat and cool. Please make sure all items are returned to the shed and boats are put back, face down alongside the fire pit. Also, if you used the outside cushions, please put them back in the deck storage. When you check out, wash all your dishes, take out the trash to the road in the trash can, and put your dirty towels in the hamper. Leave the beds unmade. We will take care of the linens. Keep the couch beds open so we know which bed(s) you slept in. As you leave, please shut off all the lights and fans, turn off the mini split, latch all windows, and lock exterior doors and shed. Enjoy shared access to all the lake essentials: a dock, swim pad, kayaks, paddleboats, paddle boards, and life jackets — everything you need for days spent paddling, floating, or simply relaxing by the water. Back at the cabin, unwind around the lake-view fire pit or settle into the wooden swinging bench with your morning coffee. Inside, you’ll experience true “up north” living. Enter through the street-side door into the dining area, where a large picture window frames the deck and the lake beyond. Spend your days relaxing by the lake, fishing, swimming in the crystal clear water, feeling the warm sand between your toes as you walk on the beach, and taking in the beauty of all this place has to offer. Enjoy the breathtaking color of the changing leaves. During the winter months, the lake usually freezes, which offers an opportunity for ice fishing and even old-fashioned ice skating on the lake when mother nature cooperates. Outside, you will have access to a grill, with a full propane tank included. The beach is shared with the owner. During July, the owner does spend time with her grandchildren at the beachfront. There are two kayaks available to use at your leisure. When you are finished taking in the beautiful outdoors and on those rainy days, come inside our newly renovated one bedroom cottage and enjoy dinner, games, a book, or even some television before heading off to bed. The kitchen is furnished with new appliances, pots/pans; dishes; a toaster; a microwave, and a stocked coffee nook with a Keurig coffeemaker, coffee, hot chocolate, creamer, flavorings, and sugar. Other things to note Because we want to be able to offer this little slice of heaven to everyone, including those who have allergies, pets are not allowed.
