Gated entrance is a half mile off HYW 321 and approximately 20 minutes South of Main Street Blowing Rock. This log home backs up to the Pisgah National Forest and offers the perfect setting for explorers, families, and large friend gatherings of all kinds. Easy 2-step access into the main level will greet you with vaulted ceilings, a large stone fireplace, and lovely stone accents throughout. The gourmet kitchen features a large island with 3 seats, double ovens, and a gas range! There is a dining table adjacent to the kitchen that will seat 8 guests. The spacious master bedroom is located on the main level and offers a comfortable king bed and ensuite luxurious bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower, separate vanities, and a soaking tub. Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms, both with queen beds each with private bathrooms. The loft area offers an office / reading area and twin daybed for little ones! On the lower level of the home sits the fourth bedroom that has a queen bed and bunk beds. There is an assortment of entertainment including a foosball table, ping pong table and chess game table/checkers, assortment of games in and outdoor.  The deck overlooks gorgeous southern 4 layered long-range views of the mountains. Whether you are an early riser or a night owl, this is the perfect place to watch the sun rise or set... or perhaps both! The hot tub is also located on the deck and is the perfect spot to relax after a long day of hiking. There is also a gas fire table on the deck for the chilly nights. Famous Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain State Park, and Lake James are all within an hour of the cabin.  This accommodating home includes a wall of windows in the main floor living room overlooking an evergreen forest just beyond the expansive yard, where kids and dogs have plenty of room to run and play. The A-Frame Chalet of the Blueridge Mountains

Get away from the world and relax in a charming A-frame cabin only 12 Min from Downtown Blowing Rock and 25 Min from Downtown Boone. Wake up and enjoy coffee on the deck with the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountain views, and the sunset with friends and family around a private outdoor firepit. The cabin is set up for remote work or a lazy rainy day with a book. It is equipped with a full kitchen, two family rooms, high speed wi-fi, and abundant outdoor seating. The space As you walk into the cabin on the first floor you will find a family room/bedroom on the left. The room is furnished with a set of bunk beds, a seating area, as well as a small office nook. To the right you will find another bedroom furnished with a queen bed and a daybed that consists of two twin beds as well as a full bathroom. On the second and main floor you will find the kitchen, the main family room, and bedroom furnished with a queen bed and bathroom. Two sets of French doors give you access to the wonderful views and second floor deck. The deck is furnished with two picnic tables and seating area for four. Up one more set of stairs on the third floor is the master bedroom furnished with a king bed and bathroom. Outside on the ground level is a patio on the that can seat the family and a charcoal grill (charcoal not provided). Just around the corner you will find the firepit (firewood not provided) for the whole family. Other things to note Please note that the driveway is steep, and a 4-wheeled drive is recommended, but not required. The driveway is a gravel driveway that can be difficult to get up for some vehicles during inclement weather. It has was last refinished in April 2025, so while it is still steep, it show be much easier for everyone to get up and down. The parking area can accommodate a maximum of 4 vehicles at the top. Pets may be permitted with prior coordination at booking and by paying the pet fee. Please keep pets off of the furniture, and clean up and bag any pet waste. Pets must be housebroken.

Unplug on the spacious porch or curled up by the fire….with limited wifi & limited cell service, every member of your family will be present & content. Visit Grandfather Mtn, Blue Ridge Pkwy, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Boone. Surrounded by Pisgah National Forest, there is no shortage of privacy, hikes, & waterfalls. Great location for skiing & tubing: Sugar, Beech, Hawks Nest The space Granddaddy’s Cabin is a well-appointed mountain home with a spacious living area to gather with friends and family both inside and out. The property is 3.6 acres and backs up to the Pisgah National Forest, which provides a beautiful and private mountain experience. One of our greatest compliments from guests is that their entire family was able to unplug without even the temptation of scrolling and surfing the internet. We do have limited Wi-fi.....and love that our two teenage boys and 10 year old boy choose to get outside and find ways to connect with family and with nature instead of being attached to their devices. Previous guests have used hotspots from their cellular devices, but that is very hit or miss. So come and enjoy the peacefulness and family memories that you will create. Edgemont Road is a highly desirable area for mountain biking, hiking, and fishing. Wilson Creek, famous for its trout filled waters, can be found by hiking off the back of our property into the national forest. The trailhead for the historic Crump Trail, which leads to Wilson Creek, begins in our front yard. Our area is filled with waterfalls and streams that you can easily walk, hike, or drive to. The spacious covered front porch has rocking chairs, a comfortable swing, and two hammock chairs to read or nap in. The back porch features a gas grill (propane provided) as well as a smoker/charcoal grill (wood provided). The outdoor living area has a beautiful slate path that leads to eight Adirondack chairs and a stone fire pit. There is also a picnic table and Eno stand that holds three hammocks. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home and property. Other things to note We have a special informational book that will be left in the kitchen as a resource for you. It includes our favorite family-friendly hikes, restaurants, and attractions in the area. Available for our guests: Bob jogging stroller (perfect for hiking and walks along the dirt and gravel trails), a pack-n-play, and TONS of kids toys, paw patrol, super hero’s, Thomas the Train, PJ mask, building blocks, etc. There are books, puzzles, and tons of toys available upon request. We also have a tent available if any of your guests choose to “rough it” and sleep at the fire pit area. We just ask that any of these items used be returned where you found them.

You can get to lots of restaurants and stores in Lenoir in less than 10 minutes from the house. The driveway to our house is paved but it is steep. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The Piedmont is a 3 bedroom house within easy reach of the Linville Gorge, Wilson Creek, and Brown Mountain. Spend the day exploring nature and return to the Piedmont to relax in the privacy and comfort of your own getaway. The space The Piedmont is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in the country. You have use of the entire home. Parking is easy. There is a driveway that easily accommodates 6 vehicles. Guest access You have use of the entire home. Other things to note The driveway is 22 feet by 81 feet. In November 2024, the city of Morganton sent a letter to all people using city water that the city is refurbishing for lead in their water lines. The plumbing to the house is made from PVC. We have tested the water, and it is negative for lead.

The resort has a rich history, with some structures dating back to the early 1900s. There are six cabins and ten yurts on the property that are all uniquely designed. There is no WiFi in the cabin or yurts, but WiFi is in common areas around the resort. There are also no TVs on the property. Here at Brown Mt. Restaurants, art galleries and a park are within walking distance. Boone, Blowing Rock and the ski resorts- 30-35 minutes away. The backyard invites you to sit back and enjoy a lemonade. Antique shops/bookstore are nearby. Due to negative experiences we do no accept work crews. The space This wonderful old craftsman house was built in 1922 and still features beautiful dark wood trim; hardwood floors in the living room and dining room; green tile frames the fireplace and the arched window over the front door is a repeated shape with the barrel ceiling on the front porch. Guest access You are within walking distance to restaurants, a park, and shopping....this house is in a great location. Parking in town is no problem. Ski season is here and the slopes are not far away! Other things to note For longer stays of more than two weeks, we have our cleaning crew available to come in periodically to dust, mop, vac and change sheets. A self inflating air mattress is also available for an additional guest if needed. There is also a private wood-burning sauna on the property that you're able to reserve upon your arrival. The space The Tiny House was designed and built by architect, Jesse Plaster. It's a unique cozy loft-style design, set back in the woods on our property. It's purposely placed next to a creek, with a nice stone fire ring to really enjoy the outdoors. Also next to the house are fire roads that allow you to hike the Ripshin Mountains. The Tiny house fit's 3 people comfortably. Additional headcount is $10 per person each night. Your welcome to squeeze them in the cabin, or pitch a tent. Children under the age of 10 are welcome to camp, but we do not allow them to sleep upstairs in the loft. It's an open loft, so it's too risky for them to fall from the 2nd level. Guest access Step by step directions will be sent to you a few days upon your arrival. You are in the woods, so there is no key entry. Other things to note We are happy to host your furry friends, as long as they are friendly with other people and animals. This garret in historic Happy Valley on the Yadkin River between Lenoir and Blowing Rock is a 6th generation family farm, used from 2006 - 2014 as Ripshin Goat Dairy, and is still a working farm with guard dog, chickens, and a pony. We also have organic farmers on the farm now, using the old goat pastures for growing vegetables and fruits, as well as a flower farmer with sunflowers, tulips, peonies, zinnias and others. The space A two-night minimum stay at the garret is preferred. The garret is equipped with high-speed internet access. There is a deep, vintage claw-foot bathtub, but no shower in the garret. Other things to note The garret is full of north light and original artwork, and the grounds have many original sculptures from the fabulous Sculpture Celebration held in Lenoir for over 37 years on the weekend after Labor Day. The Western North Carolina Sculpture Center is located one mile from the farm on the historic Patterson School campus. This is still a working farm.

Comfort's key in this 1 bedroom barn apartment + full kitchen and bath. Pets welcome. Our 1834 farmhouse is close by. We welcome all respectful guests. We have two cats with no access to rented space. We also host a 2nd larger space - Sweet Circa 1830 Farmhouse Apt. Local art and music, 20 minutes to Parkway and Blowing Rock, 40 to AppState and Boone. Great hiking, biking, and wild and scenic Wilson's Creek close by. During busy seasons, we prefer to book two nights, especially on weekends. Guest access You have access to an adjoining laundry room with iron and ironing board. Larger groups may wish to rent both spaces - total of 3 queen beds, two baths. Other things to note We live in a home on the property and have friends and family that visit. You will always have parking close to your door and we are considerate about noise.

This amazing, newly renovated cabin, is peaceful, refreshing and nestled into a quiet wooded area. Fully stocked with all the amenities you might need. Enjoy an evening at the fire pit, dinner on the deck under the moon light and settle into the hot tub with a night cap. Near by attractions are a short distance away. These interests include Linville Caverns & Falls, Grand Father mountain, Wilson Creek, The scenic Blue-ridge Parkway, Jonas Ridge Snow tubing and Historical Downtown Morganton. The space This unique space is full of wonder. It is a small cabin approximately 500 sq.ft. Quite and quaint. Amazing sounds of nature. Hummingbirds flutter around the porch/desks in season. And sometimes, snowflakes fall while basking in the hot tub...delightful atmosphere. Guest access There is a private entrance that is gated for your privacy. A lock box it on the cabin. Other things to note You can chill on the deck in the evening and listen to live music from the campground below on certain summer Saturday nights. This is background music and not loud.

This is a single bedroom only intended for one person. There is a mini frig, microwave, smart assistant, comfortable and adjustible twin bed, A/C & heat, tv & dvd, and wifi. The bathroom has a shower & filtered water bottle filler (bathroom and pool areas may be shared with other guest). You are not to have guest/parties etc. This is not for local people that just want a pool or party place, etc. The space There are lots of things to do in less than a hour of drive time from great places to eat, parks, greenways and river walks & musesums, to regular car shows & race tracks, & festivals, to mountain biking, kayaking (flat water and ww), hiking, climbing, fishing, and even some hang gliding. If you are looking for an adventure, let me know and I will help you find an ideal place for your skill level. Guest access If the pool / hot tub are open, you should be able to use them. Please ask before arriving these are seasonal and closed in colder months. Workout equipment should also be avaliable (punching bob, squat rack, bench, curl bar, etc, but please ask the host. other things may be but not limited to cornhole, and other board games, etc. Other things to note One thing that I ask you to be aware of is the hot water heater for the poolhouse is not a large tank so you may have to adjust the hot/cold water as you take a shower. It is a nice shower but plan to not take longer than about 8 minute constant shower water flow or you may run out of hot water. It shouldn't take very long to heat the water back up but it is something to be aware of.

The resort has a rich history, with some structures dating back to the early 1900s. There are six cabins and ten yurts on the property that are all uniquely designed.
