Classic Arcade, Pool Table & Foosball The space The main level features a fully-equipped kitchen with granite counter-tops & stainless appliances, an open dining and living area with cozy stone fireplace with lots of windows overlooking the beautiful vistas of the Great Smoky Mountains. Main level also features a king bedroom and a full bath. The upstairs has a loft area with pool table and classic arcade as well as a Queen bedroom with an ensuite bath and walk-in shower. The Chalet offers high-quality design & amenities while incorporating an organic aesthetic. The space This 4-bedroom, 3-bath Chalet features an open-concept design. Many spaces are designed for hanging out with friends or family and soaking in nature. You can cozy up in front of the indoor fireplace or outdoor fire pit, enjoy competitive games in the game room, watch movies on the 10-foot theater screen, or relax in the teepee tent in the loft bedroom. Please note that the 4th bedroom is an open loft area that has been converted into a bedroom (see photos in listing). This area does not have a door for privacy; the other 3 bedrooms have separate doors for privacy. OUTSIDE The yard has a stunning fire pit area (with string lights) for relaxing and making s’mores with friends and family. There is also an inviting hot tub to unwind at the end of the day. PETS With a large enclosed backyard and front yard, our home is ideal for pets. We kindly request a $100 flat pet fee. DRIVEWAY We can fit 4 cars in the driveway. Additional parking for at least two cars is available along the long sidewalk by the fence. There is no garage space, as it has been converted into the game room and theater room. Other things to note You’ll be in the mountains, so nature-related conditions such as weather and wildlife are to be expected. You may experience power outages during snowstorms or fallen trees and may see bears from time to time. Please follow all safety protocols. The cabin is in a rural area. While satellite internet is generally reliable and high-speed, weather conditions may occasionally affect connectivity and speed. Winter is especially severe in the Smokies, and heating systems may occasionally be impacted. Please use the electric fireplace to warm the cabin if needed. Travel insurance is highly recommended to help protect against unforeseen cancellations, weather-related issues, and similar situations.

The cabin is named "Eagle's Perch" for a good reason: It's one of the highest cabins in the resort, and the views are absolutely spectacular! You will love the cathedral ceilings and tall windows in this charming open-plan cabin complete with stone fireplace, hardwood floors, pool table, foosball table, arcade, large screen TVs, hot tub and three decks overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains. The space Eagle's Perch has four bedrooms and three bathrooms split across three levels. Two of the bedrooms are Kings, one is a Queen and one has bunk beds. The upper bedroom is our favorite, with vaulted ceilings, a private bathroom, and a private deck! It also has a full-size futon for extra accommodation. The main floor bedroom also has a private deck, and there are two more bedrooms on the lower floor that share a bathroom and another deck. The full-size leather sleeper sofa in living room provides additional comfortable sleeping space. All King and Queen bedrooms are equipped with 55’ TV whereas the bunk bedroom has a 40’ TV and all connected with cable and internet with access to Netflix, Hulu and tons of entertainment. Enjoy unlimited lightning-fast internet and WiFi while you stay. Indulge yourself with family and friends in downstairs large game room equipped with standard-sized pool table, foosball table, and 65’ flat TV. Or have a little competition in the hallway on our electronic dart game. The camera does not point toward windows or the hot tub. - Wheelchairs: This cabin is not suitable for full-time wheelchair-bound guests due to the steep driveway and parking areas. - Access: The front door has an electronic lock, you will be provided the code the day before check-in. - BBQ: There is a small BBQ grill mounted in the front yard for your use. Please note that it's outside and it's just not feasible to clean it between every guest, so you may need to clean it before use, depending on how the last guest left it. Charcoal is not provided. Room Layouts: - The Main Floor has one bedroom with a private deck, and a bathroom across the hall. The kitchen, dining, and living room areas are also on this floor, as is the front door. - On the Upper Floor, there is one bedroom with a private bathroom and a private deck. - In the Downstairs, there is Game Room and two bedrooms. Because of this, the last 200 feet of road is pretty steep. If you're not used to mountain roads, you may find it a bit scary the first time. But rest assured, after a couple of times you'll feel like a pro! Front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive cars perform best in the Smoky Mountains. Two-wheel drive pickup trucks don't do well because all the weight is in the front and so the rear wheels can spin. Low-clearance sporty-type cars may scrape their front spoilers at the base of the drive. If you are renting a car, a full-size front-wheel drive is suggested. Winter bookings: Snow is rare and usually melts quickly. But if you're staying in January or February, 4WD or AWD is highly recommended just in case. Although rare, be aware that if there is snow on the ground when you arrive, you *WILL* need a 4WD or AWD to get up the driveway. Trip insurance is recommended, especially in the winter. There are no refunds for weather, although in the unlikely event you cannot make it to the cabin we will allow you to reschedule your stay for another time. We also contract regular monthly pest services which treat for all pests from multiple types of bugs, mice, etc. Despite our regular treatments, given the proximity of the cabin to the park, it is possible these pests can temporarily enter the cabin. We immediately respond and treat if anything comes up and have found it is rare to come across anything like this. Guest access Our guests will have the full cabin to themselves. Other things to note We are in unprecedented times. The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to create stress and uncertainty for guests across the country. We are taking extra precautions to ensure guest safety: • All hard & soft surfaces cleaned with Micro-Ban™ including: counters, vanities, sinks, floors, stair rails, cabinets, doors, furniture, beds, pillows, carpets, comforters, etc. throughout cabin. • Lysol™ is used thoroughly on all compatible surfaces to clean and disinfect • Bleach-based cleaners used in all bathrooms and kitchens, that allow use of chlorine products. • Linens (bedding, towels, etc) – removed & washed offsite in temperatures exceeding those recommended for laundry operations, then packaged until the housekeeping staff are ready to put them out for guests. • Hot Tub -- Drained, cleaned, fresh Bromine added and refilled after every guest • Cabin inspected regularly after cleaning and inspectors perform additional applications of protective products in the cabin, such as MicroBan and Lysol. • Cleaning staff received additional education on disinfection protocols and are furnished with protective gloves, changing them for fresh pairs as needed during cleaning & disinfection of the home. The cabin is on a mountain well and well water is safe to cook with, shower and use but not intended for drinking and we recommend using bottled water & store-bought ice for consumption. IMPORTANT: The well pump requires power and if an outage occurs, water will stop flowing. This happens rarely but important to note. • 2 Pets allowed with a fee. What do you provide for pool safety? The pool is 15 feet by 13 feet. The pool is 4 feet deep. Access to the indoor pool room is via keypad lock. The code should be provided to adults only. There is a sound alarm any time a pool room door opens. We provide child life vests as well as pool toys and towels. All children under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times by an adult. The pool is heated to 82 degrees. The indoor pool room temperature is set at 80 degrees.
