Shining Sea Condo

This two bedroom Condo on the Ocean Edge property in Brewster is quiet and family friendly. Pool passes are not included with my unit. You can purchase them from Ocean Edge. Brewster is close to the Cape Cod National Seashore, Wellfleet, and Provincetown. Brewster town beach passes are available for cars from the town website by the day or week. The Cape Cod bike trail runs thru the Ocean Edge property to Wellfleet. The space The Condo's first floor has full kitchen with cooking and dining essentials, plus a Keurig coffee maker, electric water kettle, and toaster. The dining area has a large table with six chairs. The living space has a sectional couch, two nice chairs, a wall-mounted 55 inch Roku TV with Netflix, and a ceiling fan. The patio has a table, chairs, umbrella, and new propane gas grill. There are two bedrooms upstairs with room darkening curtains. The first bedroom has a queen bed, a 50 inch Roku TV with Netflix, and a fan. The second bedroom has a full and twin bed, and a fan. The upstairs bathroom has a full sized tub with privacy door. There is also a stacked washer dryer with laundry detergent. Guest access Keypad access for guests. Other things to note Brewster beaches require parking passes from 9am till 4pm which can be purchased on the Town of Brewster website. The cost is $20.00 per day. Ocean Edge pool passes can be purchased from Ocean Edge: Adults, 16+, $27 per day or $80 for the week. Kids 6 - 16 years are $14/day $40/week. Children under 6 years are free.

Distance to Cape Cod Bay, 4 mi.; Atlantic Ocean, 7 mi.; Ptown, 23 mi. For travel nurses, we are 13 miles from Cape Cod Hospital. There are nearby stores, bakeries, restaurants, and the excellent Brewster Ladies Public Library. The porch overlooks the private gardens. We love gardening and try for interesting views & foraging for birds even in winter. The space Guests have use of entire private home with landscaped yard. The living room has a couch, a comfortable chair with ottoman and a side chair. The tv offers cable tv as well as netflix, perfect for a cozy night in. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination, a toilet and a sink with drawers, as well as a linen closet where you can store your toiletries. The large master bedroom boasts a comfortable king size bed and a dresser and large closet. Plenty of space to hang your clothes. The 'guest' room has two twin beds, a small table and chair and a closet with plenty of room to hang your clothes. You will also have access to the basement, where the washer and dryer are located. The brand new outdoor shower will refresh you after you've spent your day on the beach. Also outside is a nice dining set with umbrella, so you can eat outside. A child size picknick table with umbrella is also there for the little ones. And let's not forget the sun room, where it is lovely to wake up with your first cup of coffee in the morning. Welcome to your perfect Cape escape! This recently updated, 2-bed, 2-bath garden floor condo unit is located in the heart of Brewster, on the grounds of the beautiful Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club, where something fun to do is just a short walk, bike ride, or kayak away! We are originally from the area and know that you will love exploring magical Cape Cod. The space The primary bedroom overlooks the grassy backyard and has a brand new queen bed, Avocado Green mattress, and newly remodeled en suite full bath with tub. We installed mini splits in the unit last year and there is one in the primary bedroom and one in the main living area for optimal heating and cooling. The second bedroom has two twin beds with new mattresses. A vintage wicker bassinet and Pack n’ Play are available if needed. There is a second full bath directly across the hall from the second bedroom, and this bathroom has also been newly remodeled. The open living area has two very comfortable couches, and a large, wall-mounted flat-screen smart TV. There is a sliding door that opens to a small porch with Adirondack chairs - perfect for reading and relaxing after a long day of exploring the Cape! The dining table can seat up to eight people comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped, with an electric stovetop, dishwasher, and granite countertops. All cooking utensils and other amenities are available to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, including microwave, toaster, blender, drip coffee maker, French press, and coffee bean grinder. There is also a small washer/dryer unit in the kitchen. The Cape does get hot and humid during the peak summer months! Floor fans are available to further circulate the air from the mini split units and keep the humidity at bay. Freshly laundered bed linens and towels are provided. Bathroom toiletries and other basic essentials, such as dry goods for cooking, are also provided. Should you choose to purchase passes through the resort, beach towels are provided at all resort pools. Beach chairs and a beach umbrella can be found in the storage closet on the patio.

Our cozy eat-in kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary appliances and items, and can be accessed via a set of stairs up the back from the driveway. You will find a complete bathroom with a bathtub and shower, followed by a tastefully furnished living room that features a decorative fireplace, a large smart TV, a couch that can be converted into a queen-size bed, a love seat, and an oversized comfortable chair. To the right of the fireplace is a beautiful built-in bookshelf stocked with our favorite beach reads and board games. During the summer, you can enjoy the sunny Cape Cod weather on the patio which features an outdoor shower, seating area, and dining table. Our property also features a lush green lawn, ideal for playing outdoor games and basking in the sun. In the summer, we use two window AC units to cool the house effectively. Portable fans are also available. Our private driveway can comfortably accommodate 3-4 vehicles for parking. We are huge dog lovers and would be delighted to have your furry friend stay with us! However, please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your pup. As a responsible pet owner, you are expected to clean up after your dog and inform us immediately if there are any accidents inside the premises, so that we can take care of it promptly. Please note that the absolute maximum number of pets allowed per stay is one. Any violation of this rule will result in the loss of your security deposit. Additionally, there is a non-refundable pet fee of $125 per stay, which does not cover any potential damages caused by your pets. A small, resident-only local beach is approximately a 15-minute walk away; sidewalks are limited, but roadside parking is available. Main Street offers free parking for easy exploring. The bike path is just ½ mile away, and directly across the street you’ll find a fitness center, café, oyster bar, and liquor store for added convenience. Guest access The basement and attic are not open to guests. Other things to note Dear Guests, We believe in being transparent so you can enjoy a comfortable stay. The home is located on Orleans Road which is busy, and without sidewalks for part of the way leading to downtown. We recommend driving, where there is free parking. While the beach is walkable, there are no sidewalks to reach it and there is a portion that is on Orleans Road. Some traffic noise should be expected. The open floor plan and large kitchen with ample counter space are perfect to keep those conversations flowing while creating a great meal. The dining room is just beyond the kitchen with a beautiful wooden rustic-style table and 4 chairs. The slider leads to large deck and back yard. Head back to the kitchen to find the door to the finished basement. Carpeting leads the way to this great extra space. Find a desk tucked into the private nook by the stairs. Cornhole and other yard games are conveniently stored under the same set of stairs. Continue to find a large sectional couch, built-in hardwood book shelves, a second fireplace (not for guest use) and large TV mounted above. Colorful flags and creative lighting accent this comfy space where you can just relax any way you want. Behind the curtains you will find a washer and dryer for your use. The rooms are small, the stairs are steep, but the baths and kitchen are updated to add a modern touch, to ensure that you enjoy your stay. to the fullest. The tilt top game console on the 3 season porch offers 3505 retro video games, and there is also a shuffleboard table which is very fun for some friendly competition! The back yard also has an outdoor ping pong table. The 350 yd path out back leads right to Arey’s Pond, and the location is super private and couldn’t be better, honestly! We hope you’ll enjoy your stay and return time and time again to OLD Cape Cod! Guest access The property has another rental, a 1 BR cottage that can be rented with the main house or separately. Both properties offer privacy and are separated from one another by a new, gated, board fence. Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house with fenced back yard suitable for dogs. The house is on a private drive accessible from the North and the South, and is set well back off of the main road in a completely private setting that is quite safe for pets. There are many great spots very close by for walking dogs as well. There is a path to Arey’s Pond which is not a beach per se but does allow direct saltwater access for boating, paddle boarding and kayaking. The owners live nearby and have a boat and a mooring so there may be a possibility to arrange a boat ride if you’d like to see the area from the water. Feel free to reach out and ask questions! The path is between 350 and 400 yds long from the house to the water’s edge. Other things to note We do provide four folding beach chairs for use at the many nearby beaches! If more are needed they can be provided on request. There is a very friendly yellow lab at the neighboring property, and he may stop by to say “hello”! Also located around a mile from Red River Beach and close to other beaches and attractions such as Harwich Port and Chatham. This home is also one mile away from beautiful Cranberry Valley Golf Course. No parties allowed The space There are four twin beds and one queen bed. 3 bedrooms total each with a closet and small dresser, lamp mirror and outlets. There is central air, a spacious living area, full kitchen with keruig coffee maker as well as a regular coffee pot. A large basement with a TV, laundry and ping pong table. The front of the house has a deck, a grill and two fire pits. Please only use the wood fire pit on the side of the house to roast marshmallows . Please be aware there are two cameras on the outside of the property, one facing back door and one facing the front door for the safety of our guests. There are no cameras inside the house. No parties allowed and no smoking. 6 guest maximum, no more than 6 guests. Guest access There is room for at least 3 cars in the driveway as well as on street parking. Please do not park in front of the pond or in anyway blocking the access to the pond. Also please do not park on the grass. Please keep our pond clean. No littering. Trash pick up is Wednesday early morning all trash MUST fit in trash bags the barrel no loose trash all must be bagged. Just a 10 minute walk down the quiet trails to Cliff Pond for swimming, fishing, & kayaking. The bike trails in the park connect to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. It is an easy bike ride to Crosby Beach. Or just enjoy the comfy living room furniture, and relax in the sun on the deck. We have a fenced in back yard for dogs and kids. Welcome to our dream home in a dream location! The space Thanks for checking out our house! Our 3 bedroom ranch has a finished rec room in the walkout basement, opening to a small patio and spacious wooded back yard. The main level has a master bedroom with a king bed and en suite bath. Other bedrooms feature a queen and 2 twins -- with a whimsical beach mural. Bedrooms have A/C units in the bedrooms for sleeping comfort. Sleeps 6! Dogs OK (2 dog max.) We are so glad you are interested in our home! Please see the note in EXTRA DETAILS on minimum stays. We are currently accepting 2 night minimum stays in May, June, and September. Generally we book 7 night reservations, from Saturday to Saturday during July and August.
