Come relax at our favorite lake destination! The lake beach and park is right across the street! This newly renovated cottage has a brand new hot tub, fireplace, and outdoor deck. You can explore all of Pocono's popular attractions within a 10-15minute drive. There are ski resorts, hiking trails, water parks, and more! Whoever you decide to bring, family or friends, we will be sure to help you have the most relaxing stay. The space You will enter through the private driveway, with plenty of parking. Inside the cottage, you can place your shoes on the shoe rack and enter into the dining area. The spacious kitchen has plenty of necessary cooking and eating dish-ware and utensils. The first floor bathroom is a full bathroom. There is also a closet, where the washer and dryer are located! You will see the living room with a comfortable couch that can also convert to a sofa-bed to enjoy watching shows or movies on a Smart TV. The first floor has one bedroom with a Queen bed, desk, and mirror. Upon going up the stairs, the second full bathroom is in between two large bedrooms. On your left, there is a room with a Queen bed and full-size mirror. On the right, there is a room with two Full-sized beds and access to an outdoor patio. The outdoor patio has a table and two chairs, where you can enjoy the fresh air outside. When you are ready to head back downstairs, next the to first floor bathroom is the back door. The back deck has a brand new hot tub and a comfortable outdoor dining table. You can go down the deck stairs to our clean, gravel backyard to enjoy the beautiful scenery and fire-pit. Additionally, just off the deck is a modern fire pit surrounded by 6 polywood Adirondack chairs, string lights and natural crushed stone - the perfect transition for when you’re ready to dry off. The home is located within the Emerald Lakes community, granting guests access to all of the beautiful lakes and amenities that Emerald Lakes has to offer. Guest access When you stay at Emerald Grove, this is your home. You have full access to the property, inside and out, with the exception of the locked owners’ closets. A unique code will be given to guests prior to their stay, granting you seamless access to the home. The home is fitted with a smart door lock and includes free parking in the driveway for up to four vehicles. Please note: the home is located in a mountainous region and requires 4WD or AWD during winter months. Plowing occurs only when snowfall is 3" or more. Salt and a shovel are also provided for your use and safety. Other things to note 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 The community and township enforce a strict limit of 8 guests during your entire stay (including children), and guests may not be swapped out mid-stay. Additional daytime-only guests are not permitted. All guests must submit the requested information required by the community to register your group. Details will be provided once your reservation is confirmed. Please ensure all information is submitted at least 24 hours before arrival to avoid the $100 late fee imposed by the community. If a reservation is made less than 24 hours before arrival, a late fee will be charged in accordance with community policy. 🛶 Emerald Lakes has amenities (enjoy the extensive list below!) that can be accessed for the duration of your stay for a small per-guest fee (paid directly to Emerald Lakes Community Association; more details listed above). Horizon Chalet is the perfect place to spend time with family and friends! Our Private Pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Totally not a party house and no groups larger than 8. We are a pet-friendly listing! Enter all pets when booking. The space Horizon Chalet offers the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort, designed with every detail in mind to create a relaxing and memorable stay! Main Level: Step into the heart of the home, featuring a cozy living room with an oversized sofa, two chairs, and a wood-burning fireplace (firewood not provided). The open layout includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, a full bathroom with a tub, and a private bedroom with a luxurious queen memory foam bed. Loft: The open-concept loft overlooks the living room and provides two queen beds, offering extra space for guests. The loft also includes a private master bedroom with a queen memory foam bed, ensuring comfort and relaxation. Lower Level: Head downstairs to the ultimate entertainment space! The game room features a pool table with a ping pong topper, a dartboard, Pacman/Galaga/Dig Dug video game and a 42” smart TV. This level also includes a full bathroom with a shower, a third bedroom with a queen bed, and a bonus space with another queen bed. Step outside through the sliding glass door to a covered porch with a six-person hot tub. Adjacent is a well-maintained gravel area with a raised paver fire pit, perfect for cozy evenings under the stars. In summer months, enjoy the private above-ground 24’ pool—a fantastic complement to the nearby Emerald Lakes! The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. We have a grill for use located on the deck. In the winter months, when there is a lot of snow, it is difficult to keep the snow cleared so winter grilling is not guaranteed to be cleaned. During the winter months, four-wheel drive (4WD/AWD) is strongly recommended. The Pocono Mountains experience colder temperatures, frequent snowfall, and rapidly changing weather conditions. Roads within our community can be snow-covered, and while the gravel driveway is plowed, it may not be completely clear. Horizon Chalet comfortably accommodates guests with six queen beds spread across three bedrooms, a bonus room, and a spacious loft. Each bedroom and the bonus room has its own queen, and the loft has two additional queens, totaling 6 queen beds altogether so you can spread out and enjoy the home. Note: Horizon Chalet is a permitted three-bedroom home accommodating a maximum of eight registered guests. Guest access Guests may also request to use the indoor facilities which include several entertainment spaces. The indoor pool is an expansive, heated area with loungers and patio furniture for everyone to enjoy. Order food and drinks as the connected concession window to enjoy a cold winter day in the warm and well-appointed pool. Additionally, there is a kid's game room with gaming consoles (Xbox & PS5), multiple board games, and a video game system along with the adult game space including two full-sized pool tables with ping pong toppers. Amenity passes include access to all of the above and can be purchased per person for: $20/day | $30 for 3-Days | $50 for the week. Children 2 and under FREE. If you plan to use the amenities, you can purchase the daily passes at the Emerald Lakes community center /clubhouse. (additional details available upon request). Other things to note The grill is available for guest use; however, during winter months and periods of heavy snowfall, access to the grill and full deck area may be limited despite snow removal efforts. Winter grilling is not guaranteed. Firewood is not provided for the wood-burning fireplace or outdoor firepit. Guests are welcome to bring their own firewood or purchase it locally if they wish to enjoy a fire. Fire starter logs may help in starting your fire. Mountain weather can be unpredictable, and snow accumulation, drifting, or refreezing may temporarily limit access to certain outdoor amenities. Please note that township regulations limit occupancy to a maximum of 8 guests.
