Roads are very well maintained making our cabin secluded but easy to get to. We are perfectly located for everything Park and Summit county has to offer. Local wildlife is abundant so bring your camera! We are outdoor enthusiasts friendly. We have traveled all over the world, mainly to areas with spectacular natural environments and have received great hospitality. If you are looking at the pictures the second bedroom does have a ladder that leads to a large loft area with two queen beds & a TV. The perfect quiet retreat. There is a large porch wrapped around the property, which opens up to a hot tub. This is a great place to enjoy a glass (plastic) of wine & enjoy the stars. Due to guests leaving the cover of the hot tub open over night the hot tub had cracked over Christmas! With the delivery of a brand new hot tub there will be a $300 fine if we see the cover left open over night. That is our one rule. While the cameras on the property do not view the entire hot tub we can see if the cover is open or closed from a corner view. We want people to have privacy, but lack of care for the unit resulted in a full replacement. Thank you for understanding!! :) Enjoy your stay! We have had it tested and approved for drinking, but I know some people who just don’t love well water. Pets are allowed with a pet fee The space You can go Fishing – Jefferson Lake is the closest and most popular place to cast a line, but there are also numerous small creeks in the area that you could shore fish from. Hiking – French Pass trailhead is 7.8 miles out and back along French Creek and makes for a peaceful day hike. There are plenty of wildflowers in the warmer months. The Colorado Trail has a trailhead for Section #6 just 5 minutes away and offers a moderate hike to beautiful views of the mountains. Camping – 1 mile east of town, make a right turn on Lost Park Rd and continue for about 20 miles. It dead ends at a Lost Park Campground, which has 12 sites and is first-come, first-serve. Alternatively, there are primitive campsites before the designated campground that are much easier to reach. Kenosha Campground is only 5 minutes from Jefferson and has several car camping sites with minimal amenities. It is located on the Colorado Trail for convenient hiking access. A Superhost's 2100sqft 2 story gorgeous 1999 built cedar cabin w/Starlink internet & cathedral ceiling on 2+ acres. 90 mins from Denver & CO Springs 38 miles from Breckenridge. The land contain hundreds of mature aspen & pine trees. A large elevated deck w/views of more than 2 dozen mountain peaks! Each season of the year has something special to offer. Come ski, snowboard or bike, disc golf, fish, ride horseback, relax in a hammock, gold pan, or just hang, stream movies or even play Xbox One X! The space Starlink running over 400Mbps at times!! I typically rent my place long term these days but the calendar will let you know availability. Located in the sparsely populated and huge Park County, with less than 19,000 people in a 2,200 square mile area, and 2 total stoplights in the entire county you're sure to see the beautiful sights while having far less people around. You will have access to every single room, nook and cranny of the cabin except for one small owner’s closet in a hallway! I live in this home several months out of the year so have it well stocked. I love nature, music, movies, books, board games, playing guitar and piano (there’s always at least 1 guitar and a keyboard with built in learning tools for guests to use). I care about the guest experience and comfort so do small things like soft close toilet seats and bidets in all 3 bathrooms. I love to cook so you will find nice knives and every utility that one would need to cook a full Thanksgiving meal on the gas range with center skillet and oven. There are books, movies, games, activities, sports equipment, and much much more. You'll only need to bring yourself, friends and family, some clothes, food, and a few toiletries. Almost every appliance you could think of is on hand: Fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove, range, microwave, 2 toasters (6 slots), blender, bread maker, food processor, hand blender, nice coffee machine and a backup machine, coffee bean grinder, electric kettle, keurig, programmable rice maker, crockpot, clothes washer & dryer (no fees or charges), big screen TVs, hundreds of DVDs & Blu-ray, and a small flatscreeen & DVD player for easy portability but usually set up in the bunk bed room / office with a Roku. As for smart devices you can check in/out 24/7, lights can turn on at dusk and off at dawn if you'd like, I can preheat the cabin before your arrival so you don't have to arrive and leave your coat on the first hour, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast, Airplay, Xbox One X, several Amazon Alexas , etc. You can ask Alexa to turn up the heat in your bedroom and use all the technology you want or none of it, entirely up to you. The gorgeous thermostats have two buttons, up and down! Internet: Starlink running upwards of 400Mbps with just 25ms latency! As this is one of the most frequent guest questions. There’s a mesh network so everywhere in the home and a good 250m+ radius outside of the home have excellent wireless connection possible. The router is connected to a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) so even if the power were to go out (extremely rare) the internet would continue to function. Feel free to use the guest or kids account on any of the streaming services I’m logged into. As Marijuana is legal in Colorado I'm 420 friendly and happy to allow it but NO SMOKING of anything at all INSIDE or there will be fines to pay for the professionals to clean! Guest access The entire 2 floor main 2100 square foot house on 2 very treed acres. Elevated wraparound deck as well as lower deck with outdoor furniture, 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms, kitchen, dining area. Everything one could need and much much more. Located on a dead end street with just two properties past mine so it's not unusual to see zero vehicles in a full day at the cabin. Other things to note Home Layout: You can enter via smart locks upstairs or downstairs. Every single room in the house has at least one window to look out of but typically has more. There is a bookshelf, hundreds of DVDs and BluRay, a sitting area with a guitar or two, bookshelf, games, binoculars for bird watching, stargazing, etc. on the rest of the floor is a very large bathroom about 8 x 10 with a natural stone shower, a laundry area with full sized washer and dryer, a bunkbed room made up of two full beds with a staircase, a piano/keyboard with built in lessons, a small office and finally a very large bedroom with a California King bed, big closet, sitting area, records and player. To go upstairs you can use the spiral staircase in the library/sitting room or the staircase outside. It and the whole deck are made of trex material so it will always look nice. There is ~750sqft of wraparound deck with over 270° of elevated views , a gas grill, an electric grill, a picnic bench, and many fold out chairs. Spring-Fall there are hanging plants outside. There is a single door entrance at the top of the stairs as well as a set of fully opening double doors facing North. Upstairs is a large open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen with modern appliances and massive amounts of storage. There is a hallway leading to a full bathroom for the floor to use, a good sized bedroom with a queen bed, lots of dresser space, and large closet. Finally there is the upstairs master bedroom with dresser, closet, and attached full bath. The whole house is built to be smart and efficient. The heating is currently all electric but I’ll soon be adding in a secondary heating source for that natural flame appeal. This does however mean you can heat just the areas of the house you’re using if you’d like to help the environment. There is no AC as the hottest it gets in the summer is the mid to upper 70s (25°C) thanks to an elevation of over 9500 feet (2900m) so along with the fans, natural breeze, screened windows and doors on all four sides of the house it's easy to be cool. I can preheat the home for you in the winter thanks to the smart thermostats and make sure path lights and home lights guide your way even in the dark.

Whether you’re adventuring or relaxing, we hope our cabin can be a way for you to truly escape. The space Entire Cabin | Hot Tub | Large deck | 5 acres | Pets Welcome This 744 sqft cabin truly feels larger than it is and boasts a beautiful, cozy interior with comfortable furnishings, large flat screen tv, wood burning stove and two electric heaters, an assortment of books and games, fully equipped kitchen, full bath, smart TV and a loft. The deck has 6 adirondack chairs, a propane grill, a propane fire pit, a picnic table for outdoor dining and a 5-6 person hot-tub. We stock the bathroom and kitchen with all of your needs: bath and hot tub towels, soap/shampoo/conditioner, spices and oils for cooking, pots/pans/utensils, tin foil/plastic wrap, and food storage containers. First aid supplies are located in the bathroom cabinet for any cuts and scrapes. Pets are welcome for an additional fee of $50. More information will be provided upon booking. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS We can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests. The loft has a queen-sized bed and we have a very comfortable (Frontgate brand) queen air mattress that can be used in the living room (upon request). DRIVING/PARKING We recommend an AWD vehicle in summer/fall and 4WD vehicle in winter/spring. There is ample parking by the cabin (can fit 5-6 cars). Be advised that the driveway is rugged with 2 switchbacks, so you will be unable to tow anything large up to the cabin. In the future, we plan to have a cleared area towards the bottom of the driveway for additional parking, snowmobile/ATV trailer storage, etc. We hope you enjoy this cozy mountain cabin as much as we do!
